I love this mask in a jiffy, it gives a fast hydration with a cool tingling effect. The tube said "freshness, suppleness, and radiance".
This mini tube for 15 ml can be used up to 3 times.
The creamy texture is rich and solemn blue color.
Used on a clean face, apply thinly overall and avoid eye and lips. The fresh sensation is amazingly wonderful. Use it for 5 minutes and it boots up the hydration level on my skin. Suitable anywhere you need a cool sensation.
After about 5 minutes, oh you can leave it longer if you want, just wipe it off with a cotton pad (easy isn't it?!) and reveal a hydrated, fresh, more supple and radiance skin.
The cool sensation last for 30 minutes, it gives me an extra boost to face the day. Suitable for traveler, take it anywhere and enjoy a gorgeous skin with a healthy glow on the go.

This is my makeup look, L'Oreal Infallible Lipstick that really stay on for a very long time, non smudge and waterproof. Foundation and pearl compact highlighting powder, plus last but definitely not the least, hard to crack super waterproof mascara
The first product that I tried is Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets which I found very handy and so easy to use. Perfect for traveler for a touch up, I can imagine myself taking a long flight and need to clean up my face and put some mask afterward, no need keep going back and forth to the small cubicle toilet. I like the fact that even thou' it contained 48 sheets (WOW) it's still compact and practical.
I found the texture of the wipes is better than any other makeup cleansing wipes that I used before, softer and more moist. The first thing that gone is my infallible lipstick, just put the wipes for about 5-10 seconds on the area that about to be clean and wipe it, all my lipstick is gone without a trace hooray.
But for my hard to crack mascara, it took longer time before wiping it off. Foundation, highlighter and pearl traces are gone easily too. After the use the skin feels not dry and taut, but still moist and supple. The best thing about this product is how handy and simple it is.
This is Biore's Makeup Remover for eye and lips, I found the texture is very rich and I must say depends on the cotton you use for a better result. Do shake it until all in the bottle become well mixed.
Be careful when you use on the eyes since the oils in it can get into your eyes and hard to come out. Fret not thou' the product is Ophthalmologically tested so it should be safe to use on eye area. Use a cotton pad that better in quality and price so the string wont easily pulled, better grip and better wiping effect. I found the product perfect for my infallible lipstick and since it contain Hyaluronic Acid it does makes my lips softer after used too.
For the eyeliner and mascara, brands like L'Oreal works out suitable with it. The 24 hour eyeliner and waterproof mascara from L'Oreal can easily come off with Biore Makeup Remover for eye and lip.
Hydra-Clear Makeup Remover. The first water based makeup remover that I used and actually works perfectly for removing waterproof makeup. It is said in the packaging "Restores skin to it's original clean, bare condition".
How to use: Pour the liquid to hand, not cotton pad or anything else. I use about 1 tablespoon. Don't forget to clean and dry your hand before so the liquid can concentrate on cleaning your face. Distribute the liquid on dry face, massage on area where needed, especially waterproof makeup. If you open your eyes you can see the product dissolving the color of the waterproof makeup. Finally rinse with water until all clean.
It cleanse all and I really like how refreshing it feels.

I've been using this product for almost 10 years now. I use it on the scalp like once a month to clean my scalp from all the oiliness and or sebum, my body from body acne or ache or for relaxation, and on my acne.
How to use:
On the scalp, not on the hair okay, dilute it with 20% of water. Apply directly on the scalp or sometime I mix it with my shampoo. Leave it for a while like 5 minutes and rinse it thoroughly. It gives my scalp a fresher feeling, less oily and clean.
On my body, after cleaning the body, I apply deliberately everywhere and sat on my dry bathtub, reading magazine and for 15 - 20 minutes, then rinse, I can repeat my shower foam again, after that my skin will feel so clean and it's feels like detoxing my skin. I do it like once every two weeks. I do not apply it on my neck, best part to put it on is on the back side of your body.
On my acne, every time acne comes, I just dab it on before I sleep on my face, I always use it after moisturizer, you can also use it 10 minutes before hitting the shower, the key is the minute you saw an acne is about to immerse, stop it with this mud. It will be gone in a jiffy. I don't recommend to use as a overall facial mask, Ahava have another product for that with less Mud concentration so it will not dry out your skin.
After numerous questions asked about problematic skin such as acne, now I'm making this post so those can understand and I can just simply refer to this particular post.
It involve choosing the right skincare line, know your skin, know your problem, know how your skin will react for certain types of ingredients, allergy, reaction, defect, effectiveness and so on. Yes, the list can go on and on.
Not all of us are blessed with a perfect skin, the word normal itself not sufficient enough for the whole society, many of us that looking and eagerly searching for a cure.
Yesterday, a reader asking me whether she can have a cure for her acne, she said she's been using The Body Shop Tea Tree facial wash and it make it worse. I asked her whether she use the whole range remained unanswered. What's the different? Well, you can not just say one product make it worst when you should have know it need all in the range, cleaning need toning afterward since it open the pores, then serum, moisturizer, medication and so on.
So never say a product is bad before you use it correctly.
People say I have a good skin, perhaps it is linked with how I know my skin, I know what to avoid and what to use. I know how to use the product and how it will benefit me. Some products do work well on me when some done. We all different and unique, so if you want to find a perfect skincare product for you, you have to know your skin first. Avoid pushy sales staff that eager to sell their products, find those who really care about you and your skin need. Trust me, it doesn't have to be expensive product.
I've use many affordable products that works out perfectly. It all depends on you. Yes, there will be a series of trial and error, but hey, you learn through a process, always try with a good reputable brand, again not necessarily expensive such as Nivea, brands that provide dermatologist info, test, and in their website or magazine, ad or anything where you can easily see their company profile and motto. A company that can represent your feeling towards their product.
Neutrogena also a brand that I trust, so does many Japanese brand since they kept looking on the best technology for an ingredients to be absorb and fully useful for our skin. Skin Inc, Fancl, Kose are among those, and still many more.
So far western brand like Lancaster and Lancome also have been proven their efficacy and quality. Korean brand for me they still have a long way to go, but names such as Laneige and Etude is pretty worthy to me.
But not all in their range are suitable for me, like I really like sleeping mask from Skin Inc but none from other brand, I like cleansing oil from Kose or IPSA, eye and lips waterproof makeup remover from L'Oreal, lipbalm from Neutrogena, Make a Difference from Origins, Vichy Thermal Water Spray, Belle De Jour mask, etc.
Some product you can actually mix and match and it still works out well, but some don't, you have to know the difference between them and pretty much on ingredients too. If they complement each other that's not a problem but when they weaken or works against each other or worse create a some kind of chemical reaction that bad for your face is a big no no.
I do have occasional acne problem like once a month and a dab of Ahava Dead Sea Mineral Mud of the spot eliminate my problem overnight. And since I'm aware of pigmentation hereditary, I use SPF and since I don't like how some sunblock feels heavy on top of everything I already used, I find a moisturizer, compact powder that have SPF protection in it. When I need more, let's say when I know I will be outdoor in a brazing sun for a period of time more than 2 hours I use an extra sunblock that contain higher protection like CMTP System by Medical Aesthetics that give me SPF 50, comes in a spray bottle and oil free.... ^o^ hooray for that!
Last but not least let say you use a reputable skincare range that theoretically suits you but still didn't see anything, it can be related to your gene, hormone, environment or diet. You can't change your genetic (yet), environment (possible but difficult), diet is the best way to help your skin dilemma. You can not expect by digesting the whole yard of junk food and expect a luminous complexion, you gotta have veggies, fruits, natural collagen, vitamins, minerals and energy. A pale looking skin from someone that didn't eat much also not pretty. Radiant showed in your skin is a part of your inner health.
Eat right, exercise right and sleep right first. Overal hygiene also plays a very important role in a beautiful looking skin.
Conclusion:
Know your skin type and what it need.
Do the basic of 4 step, from cleansing, toner/softener, serum and moisturizer twice daily with the range according to your skin need and
if needed use extra product to fight your problem, such as acne I use Ahava Pure Mud.
Yesterday as I innocently walks around Wisma Atria thinking that I could just do a window shopping, I was wrong, so wrong that I spend more money on Etude. Another unplanned budget. Well, I kinda need a new compact powder since my Face Shop's are finished and thanks to the ZA promoter that gave me darker shade, I need to mix it with a lighter shade of compact, and so I bought Etude. The brand I used to love almost 10 years ago since the powder gives me that luminous glow.
I was so surprise they got a lot of compact powder now and sadly the staff is clueless about the difference on each of the product, she can only repeat what it said on the tag. She does not know each effect on our face.
Message to the store: Please do educate your staff or at least tell them to use each of the product you have, how come she sell something she doesn't even know.
Review of the product: Like expected, Etude compact powder 'Secret Beam' is so easy to use and gives me that glow that I want. For about $30 it is a good deal. Do take note that it's not a foundation or a two way cake, Secret Beam is a compact powder used after foundation or BB cream. The powder is scented and light, suitable for daily use, or on special occasion you can use after foundation or BB cream for more coverage. It also contain a bit of highlighter.
Then today after Secret Beam, I used All's Good Beauty Powder Blush from MAC. This toasted rose color I thought would be too much, but use a little with a big brush, the result can still be natural, you can also repeat the process for a more dramatic look.
Last but not least is MAC LipGlass in Light That's Fire!. Sticky, and I don't sticky gloss, but the shine is wonderful, and I can use it on top of lipstick. Perfect for night use.

Today, thanks to Herworld Oct 2010 edition, I can try this new serum on Takashimaya. Appointment only skin check and serum is given. The staff that attend me so nice and pretty, I kept looking at her skin, look smooth.
She sat next to me and bring a skin analysis tool.
First she put it on the inside of my elbow where she said a healthy skin normally at. The picture above shows hoe moist and the shape is triangular. It means good ☻.
Then she put the tools at my outer cheek where it is still good (= hydrated), and the pic above shows my skin at inner cheek (near my nose) where it is congested, means, not good. It shows it need hydration and de-clog-ing. She suggested I scrub my face once a week for the problem. But I kinda think I need more, especially for my blackhead.....yucks!

This is the rest of the range of Bio Performance, beside the serums, they also have the hydrating cream and for wrinkles.
I'm not allowed to take picture of the product, so this is the texture and color or the hydrating cream. Kinda pinkish cream comes gel when it touches the skin, it easily spread. Smell like Nivea creme. It is hydrating but for me it takes time to completely absorbed.
