The launching product is a mascara, but of course when using makeup, it all takes some to make them work. Eyeliner, Eyeshadow and then the product of the day, mascara.

Max Factor has several type of mascara, eyeliners, and eyeshadow. Seems like the focus of the day is eye makeup.

First, I'm using the eyeshadow for that irresistible smokey look. I guess a smokey never goes wrong. It helps defining the eyes. For those with monolid like me, a tape would be useful. If not, the eyeshadow will pretty much hidden behind those lids  >.<.

A unique tip eyeliner is next. It was a felt tip, which reminds me a lot of those colorful marker we love to play when we were kids, the feeling of using it when it touches the skin is similar, but this time we're playing with eye makeup.

It is not a easy and as precision as I want it to, perhaps a bit of practice would help. The color is black and satisfying, but the tip is not fine. Kinda like a paddle.

The felt tip is suitable for using the eyeliner in dotting method instead of one straight line. It has that grip to the skin which is kind making drawing straight line not really smooth. But the grip, size and shape of the pen itself is pretty good. So I get a good control over the product.

TOP TIPS FOR HOW TO APPLY the mascara

  Push the fins deep into the roots.
• 2
  Wiggle at the roots to coat and lift lashes.
• 3
  Separate the lashes with the tip

The mascara has a large wand, too large for my lashes. It is not easy to grip the short lashes.

The formula comes in solid black color, water resistant, but doesn't really stand a change against mine. I have greasy eyelids, so I need a mascara that comes with sebum proof and sweat proof as well.

The eyeshadow has a relatively good solid color, there are some fallout, the texture is like a fine powder, easy to be used and the palette is suffice for several look.

Tips: Put some loose powder under the eyes to help remove the fallout. Use a big brush for powder afterwards to remove the loose powder and the fallout at the same time.

Since I have monolid, do excuse me, all of my pictures here would be me looking down >.<.

Conclusion:

a good mascara for anyone with long lashes as it pulls and made them have more volume for that false lash effect but kinda tricky to be used by those (like me) with short lashes. Resist water but doesn't have the power against sweat and sebum.

The eyeliner is unique, the tip is like a paddle and not pointy. Need practice on using it and water resistant (not sebum and sweat proof as well).
Easily create a bold eye lines with the solid dark color and formula. It took them seconds to dry on dry air.

Last but not least is the eyeshadow palette with 4 shade gradation from light to dark. Watch out for fallout, apart from that, it's all good.

Apply evenly on face, leaving out eye and mouth area. Leave on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off thoroughly with warm water (the Avocado Banana Moisture Mask can be wiped off with a cloth). Use 2-3 times per week or when needed.

The product is very easy to be used on a cleaned skin, smells like jamu (Indonesian traditional herbs). I thought it would smells fruity or like a banana in general but it;s not. The texture and color of the product leads me to think it would smell fresh but it's not the kind of freshness in mind, this is like a herbal freshness.

The texture is slightly gooey, definitely creamy, but kind like a gel-like as well, so it's not thick, dense nor as rich as butter but in the middle of it.

My skin is dry, so this mask is definitely one of the mask I would love to use, despite of the smell,

Overall, it is comfortable and my skin does feels moist afterwards.

The mask can be used like said, or after around 10 minutes, removes most of the residue left on the skin with a soft clothe or dab tissue on it, and then use it as a sleeping mask. When waking up, the skin appear plumper.

Thank you Juara, the mask provide the moisture and comfort for my dry skin. I can simply use it day or night, right after shower, before applying any skincare. I can just wash it off or use facial tissue to remove the mask, and I like them best after the mask is chilled in the fridge as it gives me a cooling effect I needed.

Naturecia Brightening Exfoliator

this is Naturecia Brightening Exfoliator. I've made a quick review on my youtube channel, here:

It is a quick one minute video in Bahasa Indonesia that shows about the product and how it exfoliate my skin instantly.

On some people (I watched on their youtube channel) their skin becomes instantly fairer, but on me, it still the same shade, perhaps because I'm fair enough. It's not because it doesn't exfoliate, as seen on the video, it surely exfoliate, rice size dead skins are accumulate here and there, clearly a sign that the product does work.

The product itself is very easy to be used, use on dry skin, apply the gel, spread it on the skin, and immediately, the dead skin cells will coagulated.

And within seconds, those dead skin cells are accumulating on my skin, seems like I have a lot -__-'

I test some on my family members, the dead skin cells accumulated will have the same color as the skin, mine is white, those with darker skin tone will have darker color dead skin as well. And apparently, I have the most dead skin cells in the family haha!

On the skin of my family members that are darker, their skin does visibly become fairer too. It's impressive. However those who have hairs on their skin will slightly feel the cringe when the dead skins are gathered on their hair, it will give a like a pinch when pulled/removed.

Overall, it is a good product that helps removed dead skin cells that anyone can use. It helps even out skin tone and the skincare works better since the skin has less things on the way. The product is comfortable to be used and so far doesn't irritate anyone skin in my family (kids excluded).

Tips: Remember not to over exfoliate your skin, use as needed and always use a good sunscreen on daily basis to help reduce the risk of skin problems from darker skin tone, dark spots to even skin cancer.

The cleanser is like a milky cloudy gel that doesn't lather. Use it directly on the skin where it want to be cleaned, apply, massage a bit and then either wipe it with a soft clothe, cotton, or rinse with water.

The product doesn't have any scent that I can tell, the formula also feels comfortable to the touch, it cleans daily debris and when removed with a clean cotton, I can see the dirt it removes, but I can't say the same regarding waterproof makeups. It need to be removed with makeup remover first and then the Gentle Skin Cleanser.

The skin feels clean and moisturized at the same time right after being cleaned by the cleanser. Unlike most conventional cleanser that takes away all the moisture from the skin and sometime even make the skin condition worsen. I've used many foaming facial wash that cause the skin to be irritated and severely dry. It's a good thing that Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is here.

The product is so gentle it can be used not only as facial cleanser, but body and for the baby as well.

Overall,

A great product not to be missed, it cleans the skin gently and nicely done. It removes just about anything except waterproof makeup. It can cleanse angry irritated skin like after sunburn, mild burn, after insect bites, or any other skin condition that need extra care, like baby's bottom when nappy rash occur as it cleanse and care at the same time.

Apply the Moisturizing Cream afterwards (for the body) for a longer moist and caring effect, it heals the skin better and I find them to be a great product.

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

this is my first review on Cetaphil, a brand that made it's name through products for sensitive skin. Very sensitive skin.

And I'm one of those people. I'm tired trying items that actually made my skin worst. I do have dry skin and over the years it seems that they are getting out of hands. It wasn't that bad at first, like during my twenties, I can simply use any body lotion and skincare, nowadays, if I'm using a wrong product, I'll have psoriasis.

After using Cetaphil for quite some time as my body lotion, the skin are definitely getting better. From the first use, the skin becomes comfortable, there's a slight cool and fresh effect, especially on areas where psoriasis occur. It is wonderful.

The fragrance free formula comes in this white cream that feels so light and definitely my favorite. Unlike other creams like body butter and so that was sticky and uncomfortable, it made the skin feels greasy and the skin can hardly breath. Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is superb! The skin loves it.

A lot of similar products usually contain lanolin, I don't have a problem with lanolin, but a lot of people do, they even get allergic reaction to it. Since Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is fragrance, paraben, and lanolin free, the cause of most sensitivity has been reduced.

The non comedogenic formula means it doesn't clogged the skin, therefor it is an assurance for a more convenience and safety.

Is it made for the face?

No, on the official website it was made for the body. But they do have other products made for the face.

Overall,

A great product that I do recommend for anyone with chronic dry and sensitive skin. It helps me a lot and I think those with very dry skin can enjoy as well. I can use it on my heels, knees and elbows, area that the skin usually becomes so dry, but on every part of my body, it feels good as well. And the best part is, they doesn't leave any greasy nor sticky remarks. Imagine a very powerful moisturizing cream that melts like ice sorbet on the skin and leave only freshness and comfort behind. Love it to the max!

these are the complete set of essential oils of epoch from Nu Skin. A series made with essential oils, in fact the brand comes up with a lot of products made from the essential oils, like aromatic stone, hair care, skincare and even for babies too.

These are the oils only, the carrier oil and the diffusers.

The one with metal car connector is perfect for us who travel a lot inside a car. It has a tablet that absorb the oils, we just drop some on the tablet and the plate will heat the tablet so the essential oils can start evaporating. The car will smells so good, we can choose the oils we prefer and best of all is the citrus scent as it can prevent car sickness thanks to the it's freshness, or choose lavender for a much more relaxing effect, perfect for de-stressing, or eucalyptus or any scent that naturally brings comfort and help cleans the air inside the car.

a few days ago I was invited once again by Shiseido. This time it is for the official launch of their recent collection, the White Lucent.

The event is superb, beautiful, just simply gorgeous. Filled with pink sakura and roses and everything in between. It is definitely an event worth remembering for.
