OVALE Bedak Dingin

Hello all,

OVALE send me invitation some time ago for their newest item called Bedak Dingin. What is Bedak Dingin? It is a traditional mask people made using natural ingredients that gives a cooling benefit to the skin. The cooling effects also helps reduce sensitivity, redness, and also calming the skin after getting sun exposure.

OVALE comes with an idea to make something similar to the traditional heritage in a simpler and perhaps better formula by adding pearls.

-*-

The product comes in two variant, whitening in pink shade and anti acne in green shade.

A lovely invitation comes in a shell-like form and design. Inside, there's a pearl and details of the event.

-*-

Of course, with the products already included on the invitation, I can start playing around before the event started.

-*-

Either the whitening or the anti acne, the pearls are pasty white.

-*-

When they are dry, they are hard and not easily break. When they are soaked inside a puddle of water, around 5 minutes, they'll easily become a paste, suitable as a face mask.

-*-

From the texture and consistency itself I knew that the product is suitable for those with oily skin. It will also help as a gentle exfoliation to the skin.

-*-

After a quick try out, I decide to give my full review after the event. I need more information from the brand itself regarding the product.

-*-

It's a busy day during the day of the event and unfortunately I can't follow the dress code (sorry) for another event. Nevertheless, I see that the organizer did a very good job in decorating the venue, but since it was packed with media and bloggers, seems like the seating are cramps.

-*-

Still, if you want to see the fun we have during the event, do check us on social medias with hasgtags: #secantikmutiara

Games, sharing, picture sessions, and talkshow with some guests during the event made it worth coming for.

Finally, we all go back home with goodies and memories from Ovale.

-*-

The hampers consist of more masks, face towel, head band, mask brush and a pretty petite container is included.

-*-

Soak the pearls onto the container with some water. Wait a while and the pearls with break apart.

-*-

Around 5 minutes, the pearls can be turn into a paste-like mask.

Use the brush to help spread the mask evenly. Use the mask only on clean skin. Add any serum to your liking to add "benefits" from masking.

-*-

The paste feels like it's absorbing all the sebum from my skin. I think the product will be perfect for those with oily skin.  The cooling sensation is very mild and I think if you want it to be cooler, put the paste inside the fridge for a while before using.

The mask last for around 5-10 minute before become like a dry powdery that clings onto the skin.

Remove them by using water, splash them onto the skin, keep repeating until the mask become wet again and easily removed instead of "scrubbing" the mask off the skin.

-*-

After rinsing, I see that the mask does give an instant whitening effect on the skin, it is not permanent, so I guess you havr to do it routinely to help "cleans" the skin, use it around once or twice a month, or depends on your skin's need.

-*-

Thank you Ovale.

See you soon on my next post.
