These are products from Shiseido Professional called Luminogenic. A series that are created for colored hair. Luminogenic comes in Shampoo, Treatment (like conditioner) and Mask for home use. Available at Johnny Andrean Premium Salons.

Reducing Hair Coarseness Technology

LUMINOFORCE focuses on the decline of lipids inside the hair which makes hair coarse. Shiseido’s original “Reducing Hair Coarseness Technology” boosts the suppleness and shine to enhance the beauty of color-treated hair.

Lipid Repair Agent (Olive-derived Squalane as a softening ingredient)

An ingredient derived from olives which closely resembles the properties of naturally occurring lipids found in hair. Has superior penetration and high affinity.

An ingredient with superior moisture retention that keeps the hair well-hydrated.

Evening Primrose Oil and Arginine

LUMINOFORCE imparts gloss by repairing the hair inside and out.
Evening Primrose Oil: Imparts gloss by protecting the hair surface.
Arginine: Repairs melanin holes found inside the hair to control the scattering of light and enhance the luster from within.

Fragrance "ORCHARD BREEZE"

A refreshing, soothing fragrance inspired by an orchard breeze, featuring a floral fruity note. It is a fresh and juicy fruit fragrance imbued with the gorgeous and natural aroma of the noble rose.

The white pearly creme colored shampoo and conditioner treatment smells so good and delicate at the same time.

The shampoo does lathers well on the hair and cleans without making them dry. The hair looks moist and glistening too, especially after the thick treatment cream is used on the hair (avoid the scalp, please).

Usually, I leave the treatment on the hair around 5-10 minutes to help 'seal' the deal.

And here's the result of using Shampoo and Treatment from Luminogenic series. The hair does shines without looking dry.

Outdoor and indoor, the hair stays light, airy, shiny and looks moist without any weight. The shampoo and treatment cares and protect the hairs without any greasy nor oily residue that sometime happens using another products. The treatment itself is easy to rinse off yet leaving the 'important' ingredients penetrates into the hair strands nicely.

The Saem Saemmul Wrapping Tint

Hello lovelies!!

Months ago, Korean start a new frenzy in the beauty world, wrapping tint. A lip color that comes in a form like a sticky glue that dries up and stain everything it touches.

By this point, I'm also wondering why not just using a lip stain and avoid the hassle >.~

Still, I'm eager to try.

The product comes in 4 shades, this bright red (mine), orange, deep red and pink.

The 15g tube is small but enough for around 15-20 applications.

The texture is rather thick and not easy to be applied on the lips thinly, so just go for it and aim thicker, fuller lips. You can also applied the product on the inner side only or like me, all the way.

Applied, wait until completely dry (around 5-10 minutes, the dryer the condition the faster it dries up as well) and try stretching your lips by saying Aaaaaahhh and it will comes off easily, just pull the rest gently. When you applied the product thick, it is easier to pull as well than when applied thin.

I also found the 'before peel' appealing. So dark and sexy.

Kinda like using a peel off mask for the lips.

And below is when everything is off completely, leaving the lips in a hint of red color and like a stained lips.

Does it act better than lip stain? Well, a bit, the color is penetrated 'deeper' into the lips and stays on longer. The uniqueness of the product is of course the peeling process it self that reveals smoother lips as well as a stained lips.

I would love to use them before being peeled and peel it right before eating for that 'sensation' from the onlookers.

Beauty Atrium

Hello everyone,

during my recent trip to Singapore, I happen to meet the V 10 Plus team. It turns out that V 10 Plus is collaborating with salons and spas as they always want to make sure that people that buy their products really understand how to use their skincare correctly.

One of the salons is Beauty Atrium. Located at 82 Horne Drive (near my hotel), I was introduced to Ms. Catherine. A very lovely lady that has this amazing skin, which I'm pretty sure she take good care of. Her skin looks so tight and flawless, any 18 years old would feel on par with her skin.

The salon itself looks small from outside, but inside, it caters the needs as an all in one salon stop for body and hair. From facials, hair treatment, hair color and cutting plus body treatment is available here.

Of course, all of their facial products are using V 10 Plus.

You can read, try, ask, consult on any of V 10 Plus products here at the salons. Ms. Catherine knows and understand the products really, really well. She even help me choose the right serum for me, how to use it properly (it turns out that I've been using too much) and which areas need certain serums and which doesn't, how to use the peeling product correctly (by holding the skin with one hand and another gently peels the dead skin off) and how to get that optimum benefits on the products. I was supposed to have a facial there but unfortunately since I'm on a tight schedule, I only opt for the scalp treatment.

Someday, I'm coming back to her salon and have that facial for sure!

V 10 Plus is one of my favorite brand and it seems like they are loved here. The water base products that doesn't contain harmful chemicals and other unnecessary ingredients are now in high demand.

Above is the area for the hair treatment and below is the men's area or can also be used as a couple room.

Now I'm ready for my treatment.

It started with a consultation and a scalp check.

The products that are going to be used for the treatment are from Secret Professionnel by Phyto.

Phyto itself is a well known brand of hair care which you can easily purchase everywhere. The same company developed a much more intense and effective hair care for spas and salon, this is Secret Professionnel.

Using only natural ingredients from plants, the brand offers high efficacy with minimum to no side effects compared to chemicals.

They studied on the causes, the hair cycle, and everything about hair, and from the zoom in, they see that the problems are from silicone. Yikes! Silicone, an ingredient that common in most shampoo I've tried, and it has been piling up on my scalp and covering the pores. So the hair are 'buried' inside the silicone. If I don't do anything, my hair will become less and less.

So the first thing need to be done is like 'detoxing'. Remove the build ups of silicone.

During the treatment, I continue reading the information given, seems like Secret Professionnel are offering different types of treatments and products for different types of needs and problems. So, it is not a one size fits all brand. I love this, as they are more personal and precise too.

And since I'm in a hurry, Ms. Catherine doesn't recommend any treatment to be done to me since the product needs time and a relaxed scalp. So that day, a cleansing alone for a better scalp condition.

My scalp feels clean and calmer too after the quick 30 min session. The therapist also understand the scalp and hair well, no force and unneeded pressure is given to the scalp and hair. Unlike most salon that put too much massage on the scalp that ends up irritating the surface or pulling the hair.

I also have a chance to ask them about other treatments offered by other brands, seems like they are open for discussion and understand a lot of deals happening in Singapore. Since I've lived in Singapore before, I've tried many other treatments at many different places too, the team at Beauty Atrium can tell the positive and negatives sides of those treatments and why Secret Professionnel is the best one right now.

I was prepared for the hard sell or the over selling of Secret Professionnel, but in Beauty Atrium I feel relaxed and at ease. They only offer what I really need and doesn't over recommend. In the Beauty Atrium, the staffs also only suggest products for my scalp and hair condition at the moment, saying that I might need different products and treatment when I come at other times since the hormone, activity, stress level and also health condition also may differ at that time.

Here's my after images, the hair and the zoom in image of the scalp. It has become clearer, not 100% free from build ups of the silicone but better. It need more treatments and cleansing so the silicones are gone plus, I need to stop using shampoo that contains silicone. Silicone itself is okay for the hair strands but not the scalp. I can still use conditioner and hair mask that contains silicone since they are not touching the scalp. But the shampoo must clean the scalp, so it can not contain any silicone.

Each pores should grow 2-3 hair strands and a strong thick hairs. So those fines hairs are the ones that has been 'pressed' by the silicone. The pores that are covered by silicone also will have problems, the hair wont grow (oh NO!!).

The Balm Mr. Write (Now) in Onyx

This is Mr. Write (Now) in Onyx, a twist-able crayon pencil eyeliner that comes in a black color. The full collection itself are available in 8 shades, but in Indonesia, a few are not available.

The comics and witty descriptions on the packaging is fun to read. The product itself is simple and like said on the website, satin smooth texture.

Like having different guy for each day, you can change your eyeliner color with Mr. Write (Now) as easy as that.

I'm using Onyx as an inner liner at the outer corner side and leave the inner corner white for a bigger eye look. The finish is smooth but I really doubt their staying power since their setting time took a while ... yet still smudge.

And I was right. The product doesn't last long in a hot and humid weather while staying outdoor for the whole day. I need to clean the smudges every now and then. I don't think the product suits me well as I need an eyeliner with strong waterproof power against all the odds.

Overall,

a good eyeliner that gives intense color and easy maneuver with strong persistent color. The only problem I found is the staying power and not being smudge-proof.

The Saem Magic Gloss Tint

Hi all!!!

Here's another post review for The Saem, Magic Gloss Tint. A product which I think has become a must have item. Why?

It's a clear gloss tint that turns into a lovely pinkish color and when the gloss is wiped off, the stain remains.

When first applied, it was clear for a mere second, and the color will transform into bright pink, when kept added on the 'pinkness' will get bolder and bolder.

The liquid itself is like most gloss, watery and a bit sticky. Feels slippery smooth on the lips. The wand is a cute rubbery rectangle that is clear too. The finish of using the Magic Gloss Tint alone is suitable for daily natural look.

You can also add Magic Gloss Tint on top of other product, like lip stain, lipstick or liquid lipstick for a gloss and a hint of fresh pink shade.

The gloss last as long as a couple of hours or as soon as it's wiped. The tint however, last longer, from couple of hours to almost half a day when applied a lot.

Overall,

a good to go lip gloss that provide tint, color and gloss at the same time. The 'pinkness level' is made according to your own lips / temperature. It is a wonderful addition to my everyday makeup collection as a must have item in the purse for a quick touch up that perks up the whole look. No one could resist a fresh pink gloss on their lips.

The Saem KokKok Cushion Spring Tint

after 2 weeks hiatus, I'm finally back on my blog ^__^ seems like this year's holiday is something I needed.

Trying new things and exploring new possibilities is always fun, like trying Kok Kok Cushion Tint. The first lip color product with semi matte finish and cushion intact.

Soft lip tint that's directed the trendy merging pat lips lips! Saemmul Kok Kok Cushion TintMine is PK01 (the product itself comes in 8 shades, from red, pink, and oranges)

One side provide color and the other is the cushion. The cushion itself is used to create that lovely gradation for the lips. Korean loves their lips in bold color at the middle part only and the outer lips are almost none.

But I prefer my lips full with this tone, perhaps since it is delicate enough. Bold colors such as red can look a bit ravishing and strong, gradation would be perfect for daily use. Still, the choice is yours.

The Spring Tint in PK 01 is matte on my lips. The texture is like a pastel crayon, so soft and smooth when used on the lips. The staying power is good but doesn't stay a chance when eating and drinking. They still smudge as well. When re-apply, make sure that the lips are thoroughly cleaned, since layering the lips on an uneven lips will create that bumpy look on the lips.

The product also wonderfully pigmented that shows it color in low lights as well.

The coverage is good, able to cover dark lips, uneven lips tone and I don't  have to use a lip liner prior usage, do keep the tip 'sharp' for a more precised application.

Below is the swatch, the raw and after being cushioned. It created that tinted look. Soft and perfect for those looking for a gradation or natural looking lip color.

The cushion itself feels good on the lips, like a sponge made for lips.

Overall,

a pretty product consist of lip color in semi matte to matte with dual end. One for the tint and the other is the cushion. Easily layered on clean lips for a build-able intensity and when using the cushion it add another dimension of colors from tinted, faded to lightly colored.
