I really like the finish it made, natural and create a healthy skin look without being thick, oily, nor matte. It's just perfect.

On the image above I'm adding a loose powder on a hot and humid day. But on a dry air or if I stay in an air conditioned room all day long, I can just use Evenfair Perfecting Cushion and then color makeup.

On me the foundation last all day long when I didn't use any powder afterwards, sometime when I'm adding a compact powder (like on the look below) the cakey under the nose are caused by the powder. So, if you want it to last all day, a light loose powder or non will be enough, depends on your skin type and condition as well.

Tips: When using a creamy blush or other 'wet' type color makeup, it is better to put them on right after the foundation before the loose powder or when using non powder.

If you add a powder like loose or compact type, the color makeup is preferred in powder formula as well.

By doing so the finish can be dewy/moist or velvety.

The Bath Box Ocha Liquid Soap

I got a package of products from The Bath Box. Inside the packaging are these babies:

Ocha Liquid Soap, Party Time, Baby Attack, Arm & Leg Green Tea Butter, Luxurious Lip Balm, Vanilla Lip Taffy, and Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal.

They do have those dashing names aren't they?! With no known harmful ingredients such as paraben, sls, sles, mineral oil, or even triclosan, these babies are safe for those with sensitive skin, nursing mom, all age and all skin type.

The first item I've tried is the Ocha Liquid Soap. The one that smells so good.

When it's arrived there's a bit of leakage or perhaps stain at the border between the bottle and the pump. On the above image you might see the brownish color. But it's not messy nor a lot, more like just a few drops.

Now, as excited I am to try the product, I went in to the shower and I thought it would be like a very memorable experience with this self foaming liquid soap, hello, look at the ingredients, with the green tea extract and brewed green tea. But after getting myself wet and try to pump the bottle with my wet hands, it is not easy. It is much easier to pump it when the hands are dry as the liquid is a bit too thick for a pump container. It need to be diluted a bit more so the pump can went on smoothly.

Beside that, the product itself is quite good, the foam (after using a sponge) felt quite soft and fragrant. It's like a fresh jasmine tea scent. The lather cleansed the skin without making it dry. The aroma is mild, which means, it can only last for a while and gone almost the minute I left shower room.

Will I use it again? Definitely, this product is gentle enough as a facial wash as well as the skin on the body, it cleans without making the skin suffer. The only minor imperfection lies on the thickness of the liquid which after a while I can just simply add H20 into the bottle for a smoother pumping action.

Nice isn't it?! It helps reduce the shine by giving the skin a clean feeling that last for 12 hours. It dispersed oil and sweat on the skin. Makes them feels clean longer, like you just get out of the shower in the morning.

The design of the exterior and interior is quite simple, everything in white, bright white. With the word Maybelline engraved and big mirror inside, this product shows just as it is.

Look at my images below. The before is my skin condition in the afternoon, looks tired due to the minor redness, sweats and of course oil in sebum. With just a simple touch up using Maybelline White Superfresh UV Powder Foundation SPF 34 PA+++, my skin become so fresh and fair once again. It made the feeling on the skin clean too, like I just take a quick shower.

The powder itself feels light yet, surprisingly able to cover imperfections such as large pores, redness, and fine lines, those images are taken without any filters nor editing process.

I can go natural without any other makeup or add some colors like blush on and eyeshadows.

When staying indoor, the powder may last for 12 hours, but for me when outdoor during the day, I need to touch up after 4 hours or so. This product is suitable for those with oily and dull skin type.

The Soap Corner Mild Lavender Baby Soap and Bamboo Grass Soap

Hi pretties,

these collections are from The Soap Corner. A place where they make soaps without using harmful ingredients. Packed with natural oils and made for order as well. You can go wild or delicate as possible, the owner let you pick the scent, added ingredients and even shapes.

The two products I'm going to review now is the Mild Lavender Baby Soap which my baby currently using and Bamboo Grass Soap.

The Mild Lavender Baby Soap smells so good, we do love lavender and using it on our baby made her smells even better. The soap made the skin feels clean and a bit squeaky after rinsing, but when it is dry the skin stay supple. One thing for sure, I love the fact that it is paraben free and using no sls.

Pay attention! Many products for babies sold locally are still containing paraben and/or sls.

The owner also warns me to be careful, the product can be sting to the eyes, so stay clear of those sensitive areas when using it.

The lavender scent is mild, so I can only sniff it for a while.

Same goes with the Bamboo Grass Soap, this is not for babies, it's for us. The green shampoo lathers as easy as the baby soap. It cleans the skin well too with a delicate scent that is gone the minute I walk out the shower.

The problem with these soaps is that they are not able to stand against humidity in the shower, so I always put them outside the bathroom.

Mt review:

Since I'm living in a hot and humid climate all year long, I need a body lotion that feels light on the skin, without any greasy not sticky effect. Most body lotion fits me well, but some still contain paraben, an ingredients that usually comes in a cosmetic that is not good for our health. Especially for a long term wear. Body lotion are amongst those beauty products that I uses in daily. As part of my routine after the shower. 

This body puree also still contain paraben, stated in their ingredients list. 

Lotions are made to keep the skin hydrated longer and better. This fruity formula from The Body Shop comes in strawberry variant. I really like the sweet juicy berry scent it brings and when applied on a damp skin after shower  at first it feels great, but I think my skin needs something 'heavier' than this. And after a while, it is a bit sticky too on my sweaty palm, which means for me when I perspire, it will become a bit sticky here and there.

Overall,

A light hydrating body lotion puree that smells sweet like a strawberry candy, when used on the skin there's a mild cooling effect, feels soft and smooth at first but my dry skin need a lotion that feels richer. When sweating, it is also felt a bit sticky.

Kiehl's Lip Balm in Mango

The Mango scented turns out to be favorite in Indonesia, I've heard it many times from my friends as well how they love this Mango Lip Balm. The scent is fruity yet not overly sweet. The balm is a cloudy light slightly runny balm that feels rich and pampering on the lips. The texture is just right. Not sticky, not oily, a bit slippery, and makes the lips looks irresistible. It coated the lips with protection and help heals dryness and chapped lips.

It goes well with any lipstick I have. I can use it overnight, before or after lipstick and anytime I want a moist supple lips.

Mango is one of the scented lips available at Kiehl's. They also have Pear, Cranberry, Mint, Coconut, and Vanilla (differs in each country).

first of all, thank you so much L'Oreal Paris for sending me this lovely goodies inside the box. In this post I'm going to share what's inside them, I haven't try most of the products inside, I will thou', one at a time. I probably will share images and impressions on my instagram @c13v3rgirl.

The stylish black box is intriguing and looks really cool. When I opened it, there's many items from men cleansing foam, hair care, and Mat Maqique.

Clearly, one of the item that attracts me the most is the Mat Magique All-In-One Matte Transforming Powder with SPF 34 PA +++ and 12H shine resistant. Volcanic Perline Infusion.

The case looks really pretty, a red violet that glisten.

The first (and should be) the only thing that my husband interested inside the box is the Total Skin Renewal Volcano Red Foam. The color of the foam is red alright, just like the creamy gel itself. It produce a lot of foams and my husband really like using it from the first try (probably due to the fact that there's a cleanser for men in the house) for being light on the skin, cleans well, smells masculine and hmm, made for men ^__^

Maybelline Clean Express Miracle Water

Hello everybody,

Maybelline has recently launch micellar water hydrating makeup remover. A product that is made to removes makeup and trapped dirt.

soak a cotton pad and apply on whole face.

I tested it on my skin and below is the swatches from makeup base such as foundation, compact powder and color makeup, such as eyeliner, eye pencil, eyeshadow, lipstick and waterproof eye makeup.

Like suggested on the bottle, by using a cotton, I damped it with the Miracle Water. The key is using just right, not too much and not too little. The skin should be able to feel the cotton being damp without having the Miracle Water drenched the skin or worst, doesn't even make the cotton feels damp.

I swipe the damped cotton a few times on the area noted as after and some makeup does comes off instantly. Makeup base, lipstick, eye liners.

I continue to clean the whole area and wipes it several time, as seen the Miracle Water doesn't clean waterproof products as good as it cleans other things.

Overall,

it's a good cleanser that cleans the skin without the needs of using oil-based products. As good as it gets, it doesn't clean tough waterproof products, so you still have to use other makeup remover before using this item.

It contains no alcohol, no fragrance and no oil, which make this product suitable for most skin type.
Light, easy to be used and it works quite well as a daily cleanser (if you're not using heavy waterproof products).

For 120 ml and price below Rp.100.000 this product will become a new favorite in town.

Personally, I've used some of the products since perhaps 5 years ago, the thing that I remember the most is the fragrant. Other brand seems to focusing on traditional ingredients and distinctive scents, Makarizo launch a new sweet smelling like bubble gums to the market.

It is proven that the customers are enjoying these budget friendly products. I remember seeing their ad on the highway at West Jakarta area, their theme seems to be 'fun', 'young', with fresh fruity aroma.
