Bio Essence Royal Jelly + ATP Full Set and Review

Hello lovelies,

After trying on Bio-Essence for quite some time, start from their cleansing series to their skincare set, this review is finally made.

I used some of their products, but not the complete series, this is the (almost) complete set of Bio-Essence Royal Jelly + ATP.

There are some highlights like the exfoliating gel. This kind of product made famous by beauty brands in Japan and recently Korea too. The gel that help sheds dead skin cells without damaging the good ones.

And now, let's start talking about all of them at once and one by one at the same time.

Above is the cleansing set, Deep Exfoliating Gel, Nourishing Foam Cleanser, and Nourishing Deep Cleanser.

And the skincare set are, Deep Nourishing Toner, Radiant Youth Essence, and Face Lifting Cream (the moisturizer).

I start the review from Deep Nourishing Cleanser that has a cloudy gel like texture.

It was said on the tube to use it as a foaming facial wash, with water and we have to lather it first before to activate the formula.

On me the lather is light and just a froth instead of foams.

It has a gentle formula that doesn't dries out the skin, it feels pretty much comfortable when massaged and washed with.

Rinse everything off with water.

-*-

The skin feels fresh and suitable for my dry skin.

-*-

This is Nourishing Foam Cleanser, it foams up just like regular foaming face wash on the market and I think it suits those with normal to oily skin better.

Look at the amount of foams it made. It's abundant. Using a foam net will make them even more fluffier and dense.

It made my dry skin feels a bit tight.

-*-

Rinse it well with running water as well.

Both of the cleanser has a faint subtle scent, it is nice and definitely not overwhelming.

But the exfoliating gel doesn't really has a distinct scent that I can recall of.

The texture is definitely a gel, yellowish and a muddy.

-*-

Use it on a clean and dry skin. Gently spread the product onto the areas where needed (I can also use it on other parts like elbows, knees, backside, and well almost anywhere I want as long as there's skin.

The only downside is when you have a lot of body hairs, it will get attached to those hairs and kinda painful to remove it.

When there's dead skin cells, they'll gather around into this dead skin cells formation, if your skin happens not to have any dead skin cells, it should be no residue as well. The color of the dead skin cells will be the same like your skin tone.

The skin feels really clean and the pores feels like so fresh, light and breath easily. Like there's no dead skin covering, no clogging for the skincare to be absorbed.

This is the toner, that comes in a pump bottle, by using a cotton pad. The toner is a clear, water like liquid that smells fresh and flowery.

It feels comfortable on the skin, doesn't dries out the skin and doesn't contain high amount of alcohol.

Continue with the serum. It was kinda slippery, a bit like dry oil in texture, clear, doesn't have any particular scent or perhaps not perfumed, and absorbed easily on the skin.

The skin feels soft afterwards, comfortable and lightly moist.

Last but not least, the moisturizer. The one that scented the most, and the one with the richest texture. White, creamy and help firming the skin with it's formula. It is kinda greasy so I tend to use it little by little.

Massage the skin using the moisturizing cream using circular and upward motion to help the cream penetrate and stays on the skin better. Apply the rest on the neck and using an upright motion as well to help reducing the sagging lines.

The result should be a firmer skin and a v neck line.

Use it regularly to help maintain the skin condition to stay nourished, hydrated and firm.

The skincare can be used on daily basis, except for the peeling gel, use it once a month or 2-3 times a month when needed.

Beauty Barn Tooth Gel

as mentioned on my previous post, the tooth gel from Beauty Barn will be shared on different post, this one is the post.

Parents must have know that babies and young kids can sometime eat whatever offered to them , including tooth paste. A lot of these products on the market clearly marked with "Do not swallow" instruction as it was not made to be consume, perhaps it contain detergent or other ingredients.

Again, sadly but true, many products in Indonesia are not really safe to be used moreover consume. A lot of them are products for babies and kids.

It's a good thing that brands like Beauty Barn are here.

There are edible tooth gel on the market as well, and they are kinda pricey. Imported products are usually very good, but not really available nationwide nor easily available.

I hope Beauty Barn become more accessible nationwide with a more friendlier price as well.

As usual, the ingredients are listed on the packaging. The tooth gel is made for teeth, gum and tongue. Use it with a tooth brush made for their special needs (according to their age) and brush gently.

The gel doesn't create much foam like tooth paste with detergent but it gives the babies and kids that mild fresh scent. I think the main important part of the tooth gel is to create the right acidity in the mouth to help prevent tooth decay.

Brush their teeth, gum and tongue twice a day to keep their oral hygiene at best.

The gel is light in texture and kinda runny. At first, my baby doesn't really like the taste, after a few days, she got used to it and use it on daily basis now.

It can also be used as a mouthwash. Dissolve the gel on a clean water, rinse the mouth with it for a few times. I use this method for my older kid as she can use regular toothpaste, but I want her mouth to be safe from the detergents and other 'leftovers' from the toothpaste, plus the natural ingredients from the Tooth Gel by Beauty Barn is beneficial for the oral hygiene as it made the mouth less acid hence it helps the teeth stays protected better without using harsh chemicals like most mouth wash that contain alcohols.

Beauty Barn All Natural Hydrating Face Cream

these are the babies from Beauty Barn.

A brand that is made by a mom who loves her kids so much, that she made all of her kids toiletries using only natural ingredients that doesn't contain known harmful chemicals.

This is one of the best seller, All Natural Hydrating Face Cream that can be used to both kids and adult alike.

All the ingredients are written on the packaging.

Unlike most products sold on the market, Beauty Barn paid special care on the ingredients. Carefully read the ingredients listed on your baby or kid's product, if you see paraben in any form, sodium lauryl sulphate, mineral oil, do try to avoid using it as it is not safe to be used.

You'll be shocked to know that many of those ingredients are already banned in Europe as they are linked to skin cancer and other form of skin irritation and allergies.

The Face Cream made by Beauty Barn are safe to be used, comfortable, and hydrate the skin in the comfortable way. It soothes, soften and help the young skin to stay protected from dryness. Adults can also use it and enjoy the natural benefits from the ingredients.

The cream is like a lotion in texture and smells very good thanks to the essential oils used. It was fragrant but definitely not overwhelming. For  my dry skin, the cream is light and easily absorbed but the moisturizing effect doesn't last long, I have to reapply around 4 hours or so. This is made for baby and young kids as their skin is definitely not as dry as mine.

For the kids, twice a day is definitely enough, I don't apply the cream everyday on my kids as Jakarta is pretty much damp, so it was used when needed only. During traveling to dryer climate the Face Cream is a saver, it help the skin to stay moist but not clogging, greasy nor oily.

Other skin condition that might happen like a mild scratch, minor sun burn, to patches of dryness can see significant effects in using the Face Cream.

The packaging is simple, and like the characteristic of Juara.
I have slight issue with the pump, it is a bit 'seret' as in tight, so I can't push it gently, more like need a bit of more effort that other pump and then it become like shown in the image, a running rabbit.

The first thing I notice is the texture, it's like a lotion, white, slightly creamy but has this 'greget' like powdery but from roots of plants, as in 'jamu'. It blends and absorbed by the skin within seconds and on my dry skin, it was like they are never there, so fast. The next thing I noticed is the smell, oh it is so like 'jamu' or Indonesian herbs. I imagine sweet black tea like sweet ice tea, but it's more like roots (as in ginger) and very woody plus earthy.

There are many similar brands that very proud of their natural heritage, where they use red ginseng, honey, or aloe or even spring water, I think I should be proud with Juara as it has 'jamu' in it and the smell is pretty much like jamu alright.

Really is like applying some jamu, it has that consistency and after feeling of jamu. It is mattefying, velvety and powdery but definitely not in the silky sense. It doesn't leave my skin greasy nor slippery, it's soft and gently hydrating, but definitely not enough for my dry skin as it was not made for dry skin for sure.

How was it to my husband's skin?
This is what he says: The product is comfortable to be used, doesn't made his skin feels oily nor greasy, it was suitable for oily skin. But he doesn't think it is moisturizing enough as in hydrating enough.

My suggestion would be, using a serum that has a focus to hydrate the skin, watery based and rich in water so the skin will have more hydrating effect.

But my verdict is, very oily skin will love the freshness it brings, like finally their skin have the chance to feel the air, lightness and comfort of an oil free moisturizer that not just oil free, but mattefying in a way that it comforts them. The pores reduce, the skin feels softer and definitely help them stays clean longer.

Conclusion?
Definitely worth trying for those who have oily skin.

Personally, I hate scrubbing, and I'm not the kind of person that scrubs regularly. More like when there's a product to review then I'll review it. Still, I enjoy my time using scrubs, some are good, some are needs improvements. A few still contain ingredients that are not kind to the environment such as microbeads, some are safe to be used and only use natural ingredients, like Candlenut Body Polish.

It felt smooth on the skin, the scrub is surprisingly fine and kinda like sand on the beaches. The buttery and creamy feeling of the product is comfortable and suitable for my dry skin. It can be used on dry or wet skin, for me it doesn't matter, it's the movement and the products itself leaves my skin feeling so clean, soft and moisturized right after being polished.

The fine formula makes the skin gets cleaned more than when using scrub with bigger beads, perhaps this is why it was said to be a body polish not scrub.

The scent is just like the rest of the series, so comforting, sensual, warm and delightful, I love using the candlenut series as it has that scent that made any women smells good.

Witch's Pouch Get it dual brow pencilcara

Here's my share on Get It Easy Dual Brow Pencilcara, a 2 in 1 pencil and mascara for eyebrows.

Use it daily to help my brows to stay in shape and color too. Mine is in Rich Brown.

Above is my brows before anything is put on, and below is after the pencil.

It was very easy to be use and smooth too. There's no brush attached on the duo, so I still need to use a separate brush to help tidying up.

The automatic pencil made my life easier, I don't have to use a separate sharpener and the triangle tip made application better and finer too.

Below is after using the mascara, it help enhance the color and every hair on the brows are coated in the same shade as the rest of the brows.

Very easy to be used as well and it made them stays longer and resist water too. 

My brows stays that way for the whole day, I don't have to be worry about rain nor sweats as it stays untouchable.

 Overall,

A brilliant product consist of pencil and mascara in one. The triangle shape is perfect to create a thinner line to draw the outer side of the brows, I still need to use a separate brush to help the inner side brows to blend better.

The mascara is perfect as it gives coats to each hair strands, made them uni-tone, waterproof and stays on for the whole day.

Clean it gently with a good makeup remover such as cleansing oil as soap and water wont thoroughly cleans the formula.

Watch out, they are waterproof after the mascara is applied but not really rub-proof.

A few weeks ago I was having fun at Talika. Once again bloggers are invited to share on their products. We are once again reminded on their products and how we can benefit from them.

Those are complementary products that just like explained by Talika themselves, we might wont look for them since they are sometime can be very specific and not really our 'daily things', they are the things that useful yet we pretty much wont aware off if we didn't look for them.

And products that helps the skin appear ready for camera. Flawless and smooth.

X-Slim, the handy tool that can help slimming process by breaking down fats and helps the circulation better. I wish I can try them soon.

Made to be used around 6 weeks to see a significant effect, and below is the texture of the product.

It was a cloudy green gel.

The scent and texture is similar to the product for the bust, is it the same or not I do not know, but I will review them one by one on separate posts.

Use the like a lotion, 2x a day after shower and leave it on the skin without rinsing them off.

As mentioned above, they look so similar one to another, if I put some on my hands no one can tell the differences between these two.

I got to try them directly on the event. Hand scrub massage and the serum applied after the hands are clean. It was absorbed almost instantly and my hands feels so smooth and soft at the same time.
