Clinique Indonesia and Beauty Bloggers

2 days ago I was invited by Clinique Indonesia to meet Mr. Rick Felecia, he is the Regional Education Manager, Clinique Asia Pacific.

It was a private lunch where the team from Clinique Indonesia only invited 5 beauty bloggers and we really enjoy our times there.





This is me arriving :)

I'm really excited, as Clinique is not a new brand, in fact they have been around for decades. Trusted and always been a safe choice for many. To tell you the truth, I recommend Clinique for my friends who has sensitive skin every time they ask my input, why?

Noticed the tag: Allergy Tested, 100% Fragrance Free? That's been my safety bet all this time, most of the skincare causes irritation due to the fragrances in it. And I'm astonish to know their effort in doing the allergy test, it involved a lot of effort and work, but that's their commitment to the brand, customers, public, like you and me.

There they are, some of the current products that are considered 'new' in the family of Clinique. I bet you already knew some of them ^__^ as they are famous alright.

While we are having our lunch, Mr. Rick are open for any questions and discussion regarding Clinique. I asked him about skin sensitivity, damaged skin due to acne and other aggressors, dark spots, and many other things. It was a real pleasure meeting him as he is a skincare lover like I am. We have the same passion on taking care of the skin and beauty products surrounds us.

I noticed one thing in the Clinique Indonesia's team, almost all of them have great skin and the rest still quite good. I met many other teams from different brand of beauty products, doesn't mean everyone in the beauty business have great skin, but in Clinique, clearly the percentage is higher.

Then, on that corner, I saw the one that started it all, that famous 3-Step Skincare. I've tried mine years ago, they are impressive and my one and only tips: Get that perfect one for you. Take the consultation and do the charts accordingly. So you'll get that suitable match for your skin.

Rumor has it that they add more colors to the collection, I want some please!! The glossy effect is lovely and those sheer colors are perfect as a lip gloss or adding color dimension for the lips. The Brand Manager of Clinique Indonesia shares how she always use 2 chubby stick all at once and create a different shade that's uniquely hers.

doctor is in, a dermatologist. Unlike some of other brand where you can't to be in sync with dermatologist, Clinique works hand in hand with dermatologist.

Karl Lagerfeld for shu uemura collection Media Event

Couple days ago, I was invited by Shu Uemura Indonesia for the Karl Lagerfeld and here we are greeted by mon shu girl ^^





There she is. It's an invasion of mon shu girl, there are so many of her here ^0^

She is so cute, iconic and super stylist. Bob hair with a straight fringe and red eyes, haha! That's kinda scary but the lips so adorable. Like she can't be taken lightly.





The event soon starting and Ms. Regina is up front with her presentation. Ooh! All the models are dressed and wear makeup like mon shu girl.

I've tried some of the makeup given on the spot. This is eye and cheek palette (karl for shu prestigious bordeaux palette)

As always the product is amazing and the colors just pop out, it made the eyes looks bigger, deeper and colorful easily. In one palette, multiple creation can be made. From the delicate soft pinkish to the edgy dark purple and glittering gold.

My Shiso Days

Hi everyone!

First, I would like to thank The Body Shop Indonesia for the complete set of Moisture White Shiso, if you read my previous post, HERE, you'll read my first experience with Shiso and details on each of the products available in the range. And now, I will provide you the personal experience in adopting each of the products I've used these past few days.





Start with the Cleansing Powder, then pour some water after put on palm

With gentle particles that create a creamy lather when mixed with water, this cleansing powder gently remove dead cells and impurity from the skin surface without drying it. Suitable for all skin types.
Just like the rest of the range the Cleansing Powder contains:

Full ingredients

Shiso extract - reduces early melanin-making signals even before the hyperpigmentation process and melanin production cycle starts - helping prevent uneven skin tone, brown spots and freckles

Vitamin C - provides anti-oxidant protection helping to reduce the production of melanin

Organic Aloe - renowned for its incredible soothing, hydrating and moisturising properties

Lathered the watered powder and it turns into foam, very neat and handy during traveling since liquid is restricted. The foam also soft and gentle to the touch. Cleansing the skin without striping the moisture off. Lovely.





Then the self foaming facial wash, I always a fan of a self foaming facial wash, why? It does took an effort to create that perfect foam suitable for our skin and this product helps us by a lot ^__^ Softer bubbles even for the most sensitive skin. The feeling is comfortable, perfect to be used as a double cleanser after makeup remover and cleansing milk/oil.

After the foam the skin feels supple yet not squeaky clean, the cleanliness is just right. Friendly to the skin.





Then after finish cleaning the skin, followed by toner (Essence). The clear light watery toner is a delight to the skin. Divided into no 1 and 2 (I and II). For dry skin to normal and the other for combination to oily.

After cleansing, dampen a piece of cotton wool with Moisture White Shiso Moisturising Essence and wipe gently in an upwards and outwards direction.

The toner helps preparing the skin for the next step. Making sure the surface are damp and clean from all remaining residue, including other materials from water and towel used.

Now, here is one of the item added to the range, only available in Moisture White Shiso, the Target Perfector. the liquid inside is clear and watery. Doesn't create any sensation or feeling when used,

Vitamin C - provides anti-oxidant protection helping to reduce the production of melanin

and the vitamin C inside proven to be delicate to my sensitive cheeks. I use it in every place I see some darkening shade, spots, freckles, including the bone of my nose.

Then I used the Eye Serum, take note that you can use the Eye Serum  before the Target Perfector.

 Remember to use only a rice sized cream for the eye, then blend and used only ring finger and apply the cream gently to below your eyes and just about below the brows. The light cream should absorb quite fast and leave no greasy feeling afterwards.

Followed by the serum for the entire face, and I put some on my neck as well. The serum also feels very light and easily absorbed. Comfortable and defined the new era of 'brightening'. No more harsh ingredients that peels the skin. It's all about moisture and a whole lot of vitamin C.

It's milky milk time. An invisible moisture film that will cover the skin and protect from dryness for the whole day. Supple, moist and soft. Not greasy at all but for me it is enough. Definitely not heavy and I also apply the milk to my neck.

I'm a full supporter of using the whole range for a maximum result. It's not heavy nor thick if you put it correctly. This is all just a beginning, I'll use all the product and let you all know the result week by week and whether there's a different in my spots, what spots? Yes, Moisture White Shiso is created not to whitens the face, it's to brighten and make all those spots gone for a spotless clear skin and even skin tone.

Never forget to use sun protection like the BB Cream, also from Moisture White Shiso range where protection and makeup becomes one. Even thou we stay indoor, as long as there's sun and it's bright, the rays can still harm our skin.

Tsubaki Head Spa Shampoo & Conditioner

Have you ever try Tsubaki collection? They are everywhere in Japan and I've tried the Shining collection and now it's Head Spa time!!

Available under Shiseido company, Tsubaki range still use Tsubaki as the main ingredients or at least the highlight for the product.

And even thou the products can be used for dandruff issue, I'm not using them for that . . . it's for the spa sensation, and btw in Japan, you can buy any product in sachets/sample sizes before buying them in normal sizes, and great for traveling too ^^

And here's my review:

The spa sensation is truly there. Most 'spa-related' products are usually overrated, but Shiseido brings quality to the table. I love the cooling menthol in the shampoo, it was just right, followed by the warmth of ginger, like giving me that sweet warm scent which feels like I'm in a Spa. Splendor, rich, and pure indulging for me.

It's not just a sensation for the hair, but for the scalp as well. Invigorating and almost feels like Christmas thanks to the ginger, hmm like a ginger cookie perhaps heehee.

Now, what does the shampoo do beside cleansing? It gives me a fuller body feeling, like the hair is actually felt thicker :) still soft and feels good. The conditioner is a must after the shampoo, adding and completing the series for that smoother touch, tangle free and floral-warm scent. Yums!

I really enjoy using them, the feeling during usage, the creamy lathers are fluffy, the after rinsing and I love the shine too from the silky slightly thick conditioner, I wish I can try the rest of the range which is the extra cleansing and massage spa mask, off to Japan again ^0^

TALIKA Skin Retouch Product Review

May I warn you that you're about to see my skin naked, without any makeup on, so embrace yourself.

The good news is you're about to see the wonderful effect of Skin Retouch, it's like your naked skin being improved, tailored, fixed, renovated, etc . . . so it appears finer, smoother, softer, matte and well, in photoshop world, like being retouch.

After reading the previous post, with me on a full make up, now take a deep breath and behold ^0^ Aaaaaaaa!

I was really amazed haha, anyone who have this product really need to test their skin half and half.

Now, let's digest it,

the white turns clear on the skin and as it dries up it gives the skin a slightly pulled feeling, like a mask, which will slowly become loosen as the hours goes by. The cream can be used alone or best with a loose powder, no, you're not advice to used foundation or other cream after this one as Skin Retouch already 'envelope' our skin.

The matte effect will be a major benefit that everyone will looked for as instant result and the matte effect stays on for more than 8 hours, yes, it is impressive and I can clearly says more than 8 hours since now it is more than 8 hours and my skin still look matte without drying them.

The coverage is natural and unlike tinted moisturizer or foundation which can be heavy, uneven, or unnatural, Skin Retouch is clearly looks natural. And I'm longing for the long term benefit as well

My skin looks flawless as the cream really fill up the large pores and fine lines.

Wonderful!!! Highly recommended and I'll be back with before after pictures with several victims member of my family so you'll see how universal and unisex this product is ^__^

Trying Belif and My Dry Skin Loves Them

You've seen the product as well on the previous post. These are the 3 items that I've tried at home, after serious consideration and observation (no, I'm not, I'm just relaxing and enjoying the products, they are super comfortable), here is my review.

After kept on reading and reading, plus learning and learning from their website (belifcosmetic.com) and pamphlet given by Belif Indonesia, I fell in love with belif even more.

They are real, no fuss no frills beauty products that gives simple products from the nature. High in quality but keep the packaging minimal for lower cost. How considerate ◕ ‿ ◕

These are the three items that I got from Belif:

I love their packaging as well. The pot have this opening which looks like a hat when taken off. The black and white are simple and the blue represent the freshness and moistness they give.

And below is my picture after cleaned and used the essence and cream.

First, let me share with you about the essence. The Hungarian Water Essence is a prove that God loves us, he create these plants and other natural ingredients to gives our skin the hydration it needs. The clear gel infused in our skin creating a revolution that breaths live.

Rosemary

This herb boosts microvascular circulation, keeping skin tone clear and healthy. By removing active oxygen, it prevents oxidation of skin tissue.

See the slightly redness on my skin, no, it's not allergy, heat or any discomfort, in fact I feel cool, but it's the rosemary working and in the same time all other ingredients gives water in a form that easily accepted by my skin.

Then followed by the cream
The scent is wonderful, like a fresh plants and I really love how the cream which is so much like a gel pampered the skin, creating this protective layer of hydration and so much love. The skin become dewy once again.

Lady's mantle

This herb helps soften the skin with its natural properties to remove dry, scaly, and flaky skin, while controlling excess sebum, resulting in tighter pores and less oily shine. Also acts as an excellent moisturizer.

Yes, a perfect moisturizer without being overwhelming nor too heavy on the skin. They are far from greasy and oily.

After waiting for a while (just like I normally do) around 5-10 minutes, I applied the Tinted Moisturizer Waterdrop B.B

Careful thou, it does says moisturizer B.B but not to replace a moisturizer ya.

It is well known fact that most B.B Cream caused the skin to dries out, that's why a long term usage can caused the skin to be flaky, dries out and even get worst after each usage.

Aahh! The gel, gooey, lotion feels light and the scent is almost like Aqua Herb Cream, I'm in a herbal garden now, so happy!

I apply it on my skin, just a small one will do. I'm the type of person who always put too much products heehee, but this time I believe in Belif and put just enough.

Easily distributed and again, the smell . . . it is comforting.Then after evenly distributed, here's my after picture,




ta da! An even-toned skin, moist and looks healthy too. The coverage is medium so the look is still natural and not heavy. The rosy undertone give my skin a pretty finish.


Suitable for those who have dry skin or wants to use a B.B Cream the whole day. The SPF 20/PA++ is perfect for daily use and the moisturizer gives your skin a hydration boost, but no worries there are Plantin, it regulate the skin's moisture so it would be just . . . right.

Overall, will I keep using them?

Hungarian Water Essence?

Yes, for

*the hydration it gives to the skin. It feels like the skin are drinking all the moisture from the water
*the comforts on the skin, no more dry, stiffed, nor tight skin
*being gentle, quickly absorbed and instant result
*universal, as it can be used on any skin type and location (elbows, neck, hands, etc).


Aqua Herb Cream?

Yes, for

*the wonderful creamy gel sensation, that is cooling, refreshing and not overwhelming
*the blue-colored cream, haha! For me anything that's blue is interesting.
*the moisture level it feeds into my skin and how it create a layer of moisture, so the skin stays hydrated longer and better.
*the wonderful scent, herb and naturally.
*suitable as a day and night cream


Tinted Moisturizer Waterdrop B.B?

Yes, for

*the moisture it helps to protect
*the SPF 20/PA++ which is perfect for daily usage (don't forget to double cleanse the skin later after the day's over)
*easy to blend and soft dewy finish
*comforting and not cakey.
*medium coverage for a natural look

Tips: You may apply loose powder afterwards for a matte looking skin.

And all of the products for doesn't have additive:


Mineral oil, Synthetic fragrance, Synthetic dyes, Synthetic preservatives, Animal-origin ingredients.
