last week I went to an event at Klinik Hang  Lekiu. You may have already read that some bloggers are invited here to try on their products and treatment, on this post I will share some of my experience during the event, trying the treatment and the products given.

The beauty clinic is located at Jalan Hang Lekiu, just like the clinic's name. The beauty clinic itself is quite spacious and have many rooms.

One part of the event which I think to be very interesting is when they show us that their cleanser contains no SLES that many said as to be carcinogen. How to differentiate between cleanses that contained SLES or not is to see the water that we rinse it with, the one without SLES has no milky residue, so the water remains clearer.

One thing you should know, SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulfate) and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) is different, one is already known and proven to be dangerous and must avoid at all cause, one is not.

These are all KHL products I'm going to review in this post and available at Klinik Hang Lekiu alongside with all Anna Wijaya Salon. So if you perhaps want to try their skincare, you could simply come to any Anna Wijaya's Salon and purchase the goods.

One of the unique facts from the clinic is that they make their own skincare, so they really know the highlights or benefit in using their products. This is also to keep everything in their mind that they thought it thoroughly for the customers.

There's many rooms here and each are designed for different treatment, there's consultation room, there's treatments where doctors are needed, there's dentist, there's facial, and so on.

Each machines are already set in each room, making it more convenient.

As seen, the decor are mainly in white and greens.

Most of the rooms comes with privacy and there's still curtains, this is perhaps why many female customer feels comfortable and safe as on some treatments we can to change our clothe to what's given, with the privacy and curtains it is well closed from public view.

There's one rooms where there are several beds, but there's still curtains too that separate each customer.

I happen to get a private room for my RF treatment to help the lifting and firming my skin. I'm 37 years old after all, so firming and lifting should be my thing, I'm happy they offer me the treatment.

I wish the staff could explain to me a bit about the treatment, what will be done, and what should the customer feel during the treatment, she is pretty much a quiet type perhaps.

The treatment itself last for 1 hour, start from cleansing, since I asked for the eye makeup not to be removed and the treatment itself doesn't touch the eyes area, it's okay.

Then the RF treatment using the metal plate is started. The feeling is comfortable and warm, like a iron made for the face. It smoothen and helps tighten the skin.

After that, we are given a mask, the mask is like a jelly in texture, it's felt harden but when it is dry, the  mask can be peel off the skin. It's a gentle peeling movement and the mask itself is cool and calming, I was told by the staff in front (not the staff performing the mask) that it is a pearl mask.

You should try the mask, feels nice!

And above, the laughing line is seen reduced, like the skin is more relaxed and firmer. The result could be permanent when done routinely. I was told that the treatment is around Rp. 200k.

There are several doctors here and skin experts, so everyday I was told that there's always at least a stand by doctor.

My time is finished at the clinic, and I went home with their products. From cleanser, toner, serum, day and night cream, so 5 products in total.

These are the texture of the creams, one is day and the other is night cream. The day cream is whitish and thicker than the night cream. While the night cream is more to the gel.

Each ingredients are listed on the packaging, the container is small and perfect for traveling.

Here are the serum, toner and cleansing.

The toner is watery and easy to be used, damp a cotton pad with it and apply it on clean skin right after cleansing.

Below is the gel cleanser, it is clear and slightly bluish, easy to lather and clean the skin from daily debris.

I like the night cream as it gives my dry skin more hydration but they are both considered giving the skin light moisturizing effect perfect for normal to dry skin.

The gel cleanser is my second cleanser after makeup remover, so it helps cleansing the traces and leftovers while it is suitable as a morning cleanser when just waking up.

The toner have a calming and soothing feeling, it also helps cools down the skin. I like to put some on a spray bottle and put it inside my fridge for an immediate cooling effect and refreshing feeling anytime during the day, plus the toner helps keeping the skin damp for serum application.

Last but definitely not least, is the serum. The one that looks like a gel yet nourishing the skin.

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max

I'm back with more moisturizers that you could ever digest :D I'm a huge fan of this moisturizer and this is my second purchase. The first one I own is the pink one for dry skin, this version, the cyan shade is for normal combination skin.

The product comes in a heavy glass like jar, clear with colored inner side so it looks like water or thermal water, an illusion of ice also and gives us a glimpse of what's inside, a skin hydrator.

Twist the lid open and there's a lid that covers the surface made out of white plastic, just open it and behold, the gel with the same tone as the container, beautiful gel that seems so cooling and moisturizing the skin.

A spatula is provided for hygienic purpose.

Aside from the texture, the aroma of the moisturizer is so fragrant, reminds me of Biotherm but that one is on way different class (a higher one haha!). My husband always says my face is scented everytime I'm using this one. It's not realistic to someone face to smell this good, like I'm using perfume on my face, however, I'm enjoying, the scent is not something that bothering me, perhaps since I like the refreshing aqua scent. If it's a perfume, the name could be Aquatic Blue or Sprites of the Ocean heehee.

Now the performance, does it work like a charm on my dry skin, it does! No complains from my cheeks whatsoever, they feel comfortable whenever I'm using it. I know my skin need hydration and I'm glad now many brands and products has comes up with the specification I need, hopefully many products in Indonesia will also comes to this idea where water based or perhaps mostly water based moisturizers emerges.

Overall?

A wonderful moisturizer for normal combination skin that smells ultra good, works wonders and have a cute gel texture hard to resist which make the skin happy with it's dewy gel moist effect.

Too Faced Melted

after a while having these babies, I finally remembered, I never post them on my blog. It's like my favorite liquid lipstick, not because they are waterproof or supper matte, but they are literally the definition of liquid lipstick. Like a lipstick being melted and here it is.

I happen to have two of them, Candy and Berry. Candy is their lightest shade between the two I own and Berry is deeper in red. The product comes in a tube and as usual, as typical as any Too Faced products, they come in a seems like simple packaging but the details is super pretty.

The matt-ness of the packaging made it looks soft and delicate. the color of the container is exactly what's inside, it portrays the liquid beautifully. The brand name and gold lining is gorgeous, looks luxurious.

Look at the ingredients, this is perhaps the first lipstick I have with castor seed oil as the main ingredient.

The sponge is like shown above, but it should be white when it's new and unused, then the redness comes from the liquid inside. We then apply the liquid onto the lips using the soft cushion applicator.

Candy appears as pink fuchsia and Berry is like ... berries :D and they both have similar scent, fresh berries. The color comes from the tube is true to its pigment. Smooth, sultry, and like a liquid lipstick where you melt a piece of lipstick and use it. It's so vivid and fun to be used.

I love their colors and wish I have them all, it's not transfer-proof but the pigment is all there and easily layered over when it's needed.

Above is Candy and below is Berry. Somehow Candy is more solid than Berry, but they both buildable. I don't have to put layers on Candy thou'.

The feeling of using is pleasant, light and smooth. It's very convenient to be used all day long. Completely understood the rave about, it's not just about the color, but the pigment, coverage and feels. It's not balmy, nor waxy, not oily too, it's unique as it's silky not sticky yet not runny. The rave, the applause and craziness over Too Faced is clear, it is started from Melted.

Those who use makeup often must have really understand what are they looking for, we want a product that works like a charm and feels so cloudy light. The ingredients are vegan friendly means most of it are plan based with no cruelty nor animal parts inside. It's something that could means good and better plus safer ingredients for us to use on our skin.

Lips are a part that sometime we accidentally licked or when use any products meals passing through them, so we do have to look at the ingredients that will not harm our health. This one is one step closer to our goal.

Without being touched or wiped or accidentally swipe, the product and color will stay, stay put and stay colorful as when it is just applied. When eating, drinking or perhaps touched something oily will for sure be removed, slowly but sure. So cleansing wise, use a lip makeup remover that mostly contained oils in almost every brand available.

Last but not least, my conclusion,

The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea

this is a new product from The Body Shop not to be missed. Since around July in Singapore, I saw them and I was like, what's that? They look so good!! And finally they are here!! It's the first scalp scrub from The Body Shop.

The intimate event is only available for a few bloggers and media, since it was held in a salon, we have to come early, like the minute the mall is opened, 10 AM. Arriving there without doing my hair is a fun thing to do since I can get ready faster, my hair is I think, the longer routine, from shampooing, conditioning, to drying and hair styling usually took me 30 minutes more than just body shower and makeup. So I happily accepted their invitation and within minutes, my hair is washed using the new product that cleans the scalp and hair thoroughly and conditioned with the new conditioner, plus getting them dried and naturally styled by the friendly Japanese stylist. My hair looks so good and the scalp felt so fresh.

To those who doesn't know, sea salt has been used to treat problems on the scalp caused by over stimulating oil glands, in short, greasy scalp. To those who see their hair is limp, no love live, and oily scalp within the same day they wash their hair, is definitely fell into the category. I am fully included, my scalp is like an oily surface that never runs down on the oils. I have to wash my hair every 24-36 hours to look like I have showers and decently clean.

After reading the press release from The Body Shop about the whole new products and prices too. It is important to know how to use it as to keep it good and optimal. As it is salt, I put them outside the bathroom where it is not too humid and airy, the product need to be kept in a dry place. The salt easily melts with water and you wont feel like getting tough love or hard scrub, it's more like a good scrub that cleanse and yes, purify. Those who suffer hair loss due to scalp blockage with sebum, silicone, to grease or buildup products could happily use the scrub and see the result. Use it around 2-3 times a week and within a month or two, the new hair usually comes and visible.

I just found out not long ago, that the main cause of hair loss or problems with hair growth is on the scalp itself, if it's too dirty, or too many silicone (so always avoid silicone on shampoos), hair stylings products, etc, the scalp could not perform in letting new hair grow. Conditioner or hair mask should never touches the scalp as they contained silicone and a lot of softening agents and moisturizing that is good for the hair, not scalp.

A good nourishment or if you happen to use a hair tonic, and the scalp is blocked, it is useless. Get them thoroughly cleaned up first and notice the differences.

I've tried the scrub and the conditioner. For me , the conditioner could be a bit heavier, perhaps since my hair is too dry, I need a mask so it can become smooth, perhaps I'll wait for the Banana :D

The series of Banana was made for dry hair.

In the end, I think product should be made according to scalp and hair, not just the hair, so the Fuji Green Tea series is perfect for oily scalp and dry hair. If you happen to have combination condition like mine, oily scalp and super dry hair, I use the shampoo for oily scalp and conditioner or mask for my dry hair.

The smell of Fuji Green Tea is amazingly refreshing and clean. Like a clean fresh menthol and a touch of green tea. The scent doesn't really last long, but the fresh feeling does. Those who happen to have very active glands or perhaps thinks a lot during the day and making their brain felt so hot, use it at the end of the day and feel the immediate effect of relaxation, cooling, soothing and best of all, fresh clean feeling like no other. Your scalp feels so good like they can breathe again while the hair will be so lightweight.

Always stir the thick creamy and luscious scrub before using as the salt crystals usually goes to the bottom. Lift them up and give a good stir, use a scoop according to the scalp size (> <) haha! Just use when you think is enough, 1-2 times trial and error and you should know the appropriate amount of your scalp...plus hair.

I often put it on my dry scalp since I put the product outside my shower room, and it is easier to scoop it out using a clean spoon from the kitchen and I usually avoid using metal spoon.

When I entered the shower, I let some water rinse the head and easily massage the scrub on the scalp, they felt so goooood. Gradually, they melted, as the origin of salt itself that melt upon touching water and the product go through the hair and deep cleanse every hair strand too. Making them squeaky clean too.

I happily use any mask I have on to the hair (avoiding the scalp at all cost) and together, they make my hair shine and airy.

As I'm looking forward to their banana shampoo, I enthusiastically recommend anyone with oily scalp to try the scrub at least once. It works wonders!!!

I arrived at the clinic around 11 am and ready for my treatment. The clinic is located at PIK area and it's the second brand from the one at Menteng. Everything is dressed in white and the layout is luxurious.

First, I have to change into their wardrobe, alongside with the provided disposable panty and bra. Since the treated area is belly, and there's cream involved, the bra and panties surely get bits of it.

The therapist will clean everything as well after, but still, it is best that everything is kept as clean as it is as most customer will have another activities later on.

Above is the machine, Velashape III. It looks pretty and detailed.

As I am ready, the therapist measure my belly in cm before the treatment and later after on. I felt a bit nervous as I have low tolerance about pain, but she assured me she will make sure there are minimum involved as the machine do suck and gave heat (as it helps melts the fat).

This is what it's look like, on top it kinda like an iron but inside there's some metal roller. The wand sucked the skin and the roller seems to be helps breaking the fat. There's heat but very much comfortable.

They don't put Oya's special cream, just some lotion to help the roller to rolls better (I guest), and the feeling of overall treatment is comfortable. I felt very much happy about it. On some areas like near the bones, there's a bit more pressure and slightly painful, however, on areas like belly where there's many fat :D it was really good. Like I'm getting a good workout without doing anything.

At first, I thought it was just warm, but when I get up and move to my back, the belly touches the skin on my hands and it felt hot, the surface felt hot without any pain.

Continue to the back side, so the treatment went all over the belly, waist and back of the belly, so it's mid part all over. This is the part where I think to be less comfortable than the front, since perhaps it has less fat.

I was also told that the effect would be days. The heat itself last a day and the tightening and firming is continuing. I love this kind of treatment and wish I can have some more, 3 or 4 of these treatments for permanent effects. Each treatment cost around Rp. 2.500.000 and there's a 10% discount at the moment.

I lost around 3 cm that day and felt really good. Like perhaps I just did some sit ups and mid body workout. Plus some sauna and steams for the extra heat, massages done for firming and so on, so it's pretty much hours of exercise and treatments in one. 2 hours went by so quick and I'm happy about the treatment, I recommend anyone who have problems with cellulite, fats and firming to try the treatment at least once.
