Ultima II Pondok Indah Mall Counter Relaunch

a few days ago, I was invited by Ultima II to experience their newly designed counter at Mal Pondok Indah I.

A more clean, sleek, and luxurious design with clear glass and black hues of Ultima II seems more appealing. According to the staffs at the counter, some of the products also gets a makeover in a prettier packaging.

Arrays of makeup and skincare is on the elegant display, one of the highlights from the skincare is ProCollagen Extrema which contain soluble collagen, procollagen, and atellocollagen that helps the skin to stay firm and supple.

In the counter, we can experience consultation with beauty advisor and help us in getting skincare and makeup tips.

During Ultima II Counter Celebration, customer can participate in a beauty class, free facial, and skin check. Ultima II also have a make up demo with the winner of Wonderwear Professional Make Up Competition, Arief Anang as a support for the Make Up Artist community.

During the visit, I'm enjoying their facial using products from Ultima II for sensitive skin. From cleansing oil, scrub, cleanser, vacuuming the pores, mask, toner, serum and moisturizer with care from Ultima II, my skin feels so soft afterwards.

After the facial, the skin get checked using Janus. I'm not allowed to use any makeup up to 2 hours after facial, hence the naked skin all over this post >.+

Within a minute the machine gets to check my pores, wrinkles, sebum, spots, future spots, bacteria, and skin tone.

The result is explained and printed to anyone who wants to get their skin tested. And we can really understand the skin's need.

My skin is awfully dry and the bacteria activity is still high, yikes, need more of that anti bacterial products for sure and boost up the hydration, please.

After the facial and skin check, since I still not allowed to use makeup, I look around at their products and went home with an eyeliner and loose powder.

Boots Intensive Treatment Mask Rosemary & Mint for Normal to Oily Hair

Hi everyone,

this is a simple product from Boots, a mask that says Intenstive Treatment with Rosemary and Mint, made for normal to oily skin type.

The mask is simple in terms of usage, just shampoo and towel dry the hair before applying it generously on the hair. As usual, the longer we keep it on the hair, the better.

I don't use it on the scalp since usually these kind of product will make the scalp oily and very uncomfortable, so just on the hair will do. Nevertheless, some of it will still sips onto the scalp and create that tingling sensation thanks to the mint. It was quite refreshing.

I put my shower cap on and usually leave it for 30 minutes. After wards I rinse everything off using room temperature water or warm water, but I like it best using room temperature water since it made the hair feels better, I don't really know why, when using warm water perhaps it opens up the scalp and after a while the scalp will become oily faster. Plus normal temp water makes the scalp feels fresher.

Overall,

don't take this product seriously, it does add some radiance glow to the hair but it's not permanent, more like a medium gloss. In terms of 'repairing', I don't see much, just perhaps a detangling effect. But the process is cooling and makes a hot days feels a lot better.

On the packaging itself the information is quite clear and visibly appealing. The glossy blue box with white details .

Above is the tube. Make sure you read the warnings before using it, such as, do not apply on broken/damage skin, watch out for signs of irritation and allergy, and so on. For me it's pretty basic, but that's the thing about Japanese product, they like to keep it safe for the customer.

Everything is nice and tidy, perfectly made and the hygienic level is quite good, the small opening with the perfect cap that keep the tip clean. My suggestion is to make sure your skin doesn't touch the tip during usage, just drop some on the finger and blend directly on the area that need attention.

The clear gel is comfortable and scent-less. The feeling on the skin is like water. Nothing.

Since I have very little spots and not very visible during photoshoot, I asked my mom to be my model heehee, she has a lot of dark spots. She has used many products to deal with the spots, some of them are even considered not safe (by me), it exfoliate her skin in an abnormal way, please stay away from those kind of peeling process that forcing the skin harshly.

So, she is happily trying Hakubi White C Gel after trying the gel that feels comfortable and doesn't irritate her skin, at all.

After using the product for 2-3 weeks the result is very impressive, I couldn't believe myself (heehee, a bit skeptical).

As seen on the image, her dark spots are fading and on some area the improvements are quite dramatic, the best part is that this serum doesn't include any peeling nor discomfort along the way, just put them on after cleansing 2 times a day before moisturizer and done. During the day a sun protection would be great (but my mom use none).

The product also help soothe her skin, notice the redness also disappearing?!

Somehow during the video the serum smells so good, but now, it seems like the scent is fading away, either faded or I'm already get used to it. Either way, the serum feels really good and comfortable on the skin, it does made the skin looks more luminous from the first usage.

I hate my redness more than dark spots, since the spots are less visible, but the redness are there, under the nose and some other area, made my skin looks irritated and angry. It frustrates me how it goes on and off.

Forever Light Creator Serum not just helping the dark spots but the redness are fading as well, is is suitable for my sensitive skin.

The large pores are still there, reduced but still there after 1-2 weeks using the product, the redness are far less, the spots are starting to breaks apart, the skin looks plump and younger thanks to the hydrating ability and far more relaxed so the lines doesn't stressed.

This is a very good serum that I would like to recommend for those with the same issues as I am.

a few days ago I went into an event where Aroma Abadi has gathered a luncheon with beauty bloggers and media in the relaunch of GAP perfumes (yes, more than one) and Banana Republic as well.

The series for the GAP are Bright, Imagine, Electric, and Inspire.

During the event we've get to try all of the scents, those in my hands are Electric and Bright. Both smells good in their own department.

Soon, Ms. Indri opens the event followed by a welcoming speech from Ms. Veronica (her shocking pink dress is so pretty and like the color of Bright).

After watching the video presentation, the models for GAP are showing us the perfume and the style related to the product, confident, young, dynamic, trendy, and beautiful.

The product itself is a 'simple' moisturizer that gives hydration to normal to oily skin type with it's gel-like formula.

I'm using it regularly after cleaning the skin, toning and use a serum. At this point, any serum is quite compatible.

The white slightly creamy gel very light in terms of texture and how it feel on the skin. The scent is unique, it's like a fresh white herbs. It absorb nicely on the skin without leaving any greasy nor sticky effect. The oil free formula really does made for normal-oily skin type hence the light but just right moisturizing effect suits their needs just fine.

Climate like Jakarta made a lot of people suffer from combination skin, usually the ones that have a lot of sebum feels discomfort in using a moisturizer for the oil content in it. Hope in a Jar Oil Free Gel could be the answer for them. Their skin will get the moisture they need without the oils.

The skin become plump, soft and comfortable all day long.

Using any makeup wont be a problem afterwards since there's no oily nor greasy residue left on the skin.
