Beautylabo Hair Color

Hello everyone!!

Kawaii Beauty Japan has recently started a new campaign with Hoyu. This time it's beautylabo, a hair color that comes in a variety made to be used at home.

I'm choosing the Natural Blonde.

This is the lightest shade of them all.

If you have dark hair, the blonde shade will appear minimal, and when you have light hair the blonde color with become the lightest. Same goes if you already bleach the hair prior coloring using Beautylabo.

All the details are given on the box, in front, behind and inside there's also a pamphlet.

Read everything thoroughly and it is important to do the allergy test 48 hours before coloring your hair. A serious allergic reaction can be avoided by a simple allergy test.

After making sure everything is well, no signs of allergy, not in menstrual period for women (since it does trigger sensitivity), and generally well or in healthy condition.

For me, I love to pamper my hair at least a week or two before coloring. Like having a regular hair mask, serums and put plenty of hair nourishment.

I never wash my hair before coloring around 1-2 days as well to help protecting the hair and scalp using 'natural' oil.

The package given by Beautylabo is pretty basic. A pair of plastic glove, cream colorant, cream developer and instruction. That's it.

The instruction and details are pretty clear, this is a simple product to be used by yourselves or with a friend's help.

Mixed the cream colorant on the sachet with the one in the bottle.

Shake vigorously up and down to make sure that everything is mixed well.

And then put the pointy lid, replacing the original cap after being mixed. This pointy tip helps us to apply directly from the bottle to the hair.

I'm doing things a bit different this time. Since I want a gradation of blondness. So I start from 1/5 of the ends of my hair. Divide them by sections and apply the hair colorant bit by bit. Wrapped them in a separate aluminum foil and wait around 15 minutes.

Opened the foil and move them upwards to around 1/3 of the hair and apply the hair colorant again. Close it again and wait another 15 minutes.

Finally open them and apply the rest until around 1/2 of the hair length from the end and wait for another 15 minutes and then rinse everything off.

How do I rinse it off, open the foils, add a bit of water and lather it a bit on the dyed parts. When they are loose enough, rinse everything thoroughly until the water runs clear.

Dry as usual.

At first, the lightness seems still dark, but on the next day, the lightness are seen better. Perhaps the 'product' still work inside the hair

Look at the differences between these images. The ends does appear lighter, it's not as bright as I want it too, but the result is more visible outdoor.

Since the hair colorant only provide the basic and not after coloring care or pre coloring treatment like some hair coloring products I know, I need to add a mask afterwards for added shine and protection.

The colorant itself does cause a bit of dryness and damage to the hair, it's like most hair colorant thou' so do take care the hair after hair coloring using the proper products for colored hair such as shampoo, conditioner and mask.

De-Hair Laser Hair Removal

Hello everyone!!

Last Friday, I went to De-Hair, a place that offer laser hair removal. Located at Gandaria City Mall and the one I'm visiting is at MOI.

I knew De-Hair from Zalonku.com. They are this cool website that shows salons and treatment places including nails, hair trends, and yes, hair removal too. De-Hair is their most recommended place at Zalonku.com to do a hair removal procedure for being the most effective and painless of them all.

Look at the pair of red heels and you'll find De-Hair tuck in near the entrance of Lobby 4 Mall Of Indonesia.

The door to De-Hair is filled with stickers, it's the information regarding the treatments you can get at De-Hair. Laser Hair Removal for male and female.

A procedure that is not the same with IPL, safer, painless and effective.

Inside De-Hair are treatment rooms with purple painted walls. Everything looks tidy and welcoming. Suitable for ladies, even thou De-Hair also open for male.

The bed is comfy and clean, everything is prepared well here.

And of course, the highlight of the day is the treatment itself. The Laser Hair Removal.

I'm having my lower leg done today.

The area is cleaned using a wet wipes by the therapist and then shaved. I feel a bit itch here and there from the shaving, perhaps the therapist put too much pressure with the shaver.

Above is my 'hairs' condition at my lower leg, it's not 'abundant' but visible enough.

After the shaving is done, she apply a cold gel (the same lubricant used for USG) and then the machine start clicking and like blinking lighting banishing the hair.

Is it painful? No, but there's definitely 'energy' felt on areas where it is darker and the hair is thicker. So if you happen to have dark skin and thick hairs, you'll definitely feel something. It's not exactly pain, but ... energy. The therapist can lowered the level so you'll feel more comfortable.

The therapist hand is moving fast up and down, so it is unlike any other hair removal process I've tried where the lights and clicks are moved slowly and per area. De-Hair Laser Hair Removal moved up and down in a very fast motion and so does the clicks and blinking lights. There's no sharp pain like in IPL, so I understand the painless method they are mentioning.

And then the therapist clean the gel from my skin, somehow this part is painful, I guess the therapist put too much force when cleaning them with the paper towel, some are become very red and irritated, like she is trying to exfoliate the skin out of me. So my suggestion is, when the therapist do that, stop her immediately and tell her to be gently, since the skin is already sensitive enough from the process.

And like all hair removal procedure, hot-warm bath is not recommended for 48 hours, avoid excessive sun lights and exercise for a while, including lotions and even soaps.

Overall,

does Laser Hair Removal at De-Hair really not painful? Yes it does. The experience is comfortable, only when the therapist put too much force when cleaning the gels with the paper towel.

Will I get back again? Yes, definitely, I want to see results and this time will tell the therapist to be gentle and kind >.<

Like all hair removal process, it takes time and several treatments, how many? Depends on the hormone and hair condition for sure.

This is the product below, a soft pink colored tube with details provided. All in Japanese language and details such as images also provided (at the box).

I think this is the first time I'm trying products from Maikohan. SANA itself is a famous brand in Japan that produces a lot of cosmetics.

Below is the texture and color of the product. It is like a soft pink milky lotion but contains a bit of powder. Since it is made as a makeup base, the product used after skincare and right before any other makeup.

The product is easily used and spread on super easy, no tools/brush/ whatsoever needed here. It created this thin layers that glows subtly on the skin. Like a gentle pearly glow. The base become smoother, looks more flawless, softer and when touched, it gives this velvety feeling. The product is definitely not sticky.

The skin appears fairer too with a hint of rosy glow.

Below is the product used on my facial skin, as seen, it made me looks super white at first and perhaps this is due to the sun exposure as well. Since it contains sun protection, I feel confident under the sun.

It helps unifying my skin tone and creating a thin layer of makeup used afterwards than without.

Just by adding powder, I can have that daily makeup that looks effortless and look how it made my skin appear like Maiko.

Maiko itself has a characteristic of being young, fresh, youthful. They are the apprentice of geisha.

The fairness created by the product is not an off white kinda look, more like that radiance of bright skin.

In indoor light or outdoor the product reflects the light very well. It is suitable for daily use and easy to be used as well. It made that no makeup makeup look. Fine lines, large pores, redness are all hidden. Just acne and bumps are still very much visible.

Layered it off with a foundation, powder, and color makeup, voila, it made everything becomes better and luminous.

The base also helps make the makeup stays looking fresh all day long.

I've been using the product for weeks now and I still a fan of the result. I've been using them on daily basis, special occasions, events, indoor and outdoor. So far the base helps me out in creating that brighter skin and more flawless look.

Wood Watch

The Saem Perfumed Hand Clean Gel

Hello lovelies,

this is a Perfumed Hand Clean Gel in Grace Peony by The Saem Indonesia.

It's a hand sanitizer that works as a cleanser and perfume for the hand as well. I've been using it with the family for weeks now and loving it especially during traveling. The small tube packs a punch cleaning the skin 99.9% bacteria free and leaves a traces of peony aroma that last... for a while heehee, more like 5-10 minutes.

The formula is gentle enough to be used on kids, just make sure to be careful and use it as a hand sanitizer, apply almond size and rub thoroughly on the hands until they are completely dry. NOT to be eaten or digested as it is.

The pink gel may look cute and smells good but it is not food, let your kids know and understand that before using the product.

I do recommend using the product often especially after using the public toilets. In Japan, people are used to take things to the next level, by washing the hands with water and soap first, dry them and then continue with the hand sanitizer for a much more hygienic result.

I found some of them are simply irresistible, they are divided into solid colors, pearls and there's one transparent that goes well with any lipstick for that clear gloss you always want. You'll find some with a tad differences and some with shocking shades such as beetle, black and we all fell in love with the fuchsia.

Mine are 101 Nude Beige, 203 P Golden Pink, and 300 P Golden Pink Coral, notices the 'P' on the numbers, that's with pearls as in sparkes.

The wand itself is super cute. Look at the image below, there's a slight chip that seems like an accident but it's actually not, like a pac man and P shaped tiny sponge, it actually helps during application.

The texture is thick and luscious, so the 'chipped' part helps the formula to un-stick and move to the lips.

The details does says that one stroke, since when done multiple times it will noodled.

So within a stroke, you can get that intensity of color and gloss at the same time, this is the highlight of the product.

During the event, the makeup artist also gives us a quick demo on the Plexi-Gloss, she demonstrate using several shades to make an ombre lips.

The staying power also very good compared to any other lip glosses I've tried, this is actually the best one so far. They are still a bit sticky and you wont be able to stand in the wind with your hairs moving around, they'll stick for sure, but not as sticky as other lip glosses.

Either using them as a mono color or ombre, these lip glosses are definitely the ones you should try. Do try the Pearly Plum and Orange Coral, they looks so pretty!!
