this is a new mascara from Guerlain make up line called Maxi Lash So Volume. An intense deep black mascara. The product only come in one variant and this particular shade only.

Sophisticated variation of the mascara phenomenon, it delivers incredible instant volume, of a deep black. From the first sweep of the brush, the gentle, creamy and elastic formula creates significantly thicker lashes. Infused with a conditioning action to protect the lashes, it is enriched with adhesive oils to prevent running or smudging and ultra-glossy oils for an intense black. Its fine elastomer brush weaves in to easily catch and precisely coat lashes one by one – even the shortest and those at the very corners of the eye – to offer sensational curve. Maxi Lash So Volume is delicately scented with a fragrance with floral notes. The first peach note blended with an accord of vegetal notes is fresh and sparkling. The rose, raspberry and jasmine heart is enriched with a powdery base of balsamic, benzoin and white musk.

The box comes in a black color and gold wording, very classy and sophisticated. Inside, the product also comes in this beautiful molded rectangular design.

Beside the enchanting decor, I see that the wand also looks special and perfect for those who are looking for volume and well brushed lashes.

Other brand may come with the similar wand but Guerlain Maxi lash So Volume comes with a rubbery like brush that feels comfortable to be used and not sharp to the touch.

And of course, it does deliver result as promised.

The color of the mascara is black, wonderful, intense and it brushes the lashes really well too and here's the best part, the formula not just waterproof after set (by left it completely dry around 3 minutes or 1-2 minutes in dry air) but very comfortable.

It's like I'm using none. My lashes doesn't feel stiff at all. My lashes are still as flexible as ever.

Other mascara that offers volume, intense darkness and these kind of results are usually either sticky, difficult to set, heavy, clumpy, and doesn't look natural.

Cil's d'Enfer So Volume glides on smoothly on the lashes, separate them well like perfectly groomed, not sticky from the first coat to the next and next and next for a build-able thicker lashes, never clumps and feels ultra light too.

And this is after using the mascara for around 4 hours. They still look good and very comfortable. It does stays on with me all day long.

Now, again, other mascara that stay so well usually hard to be cleaned. This one doesn't. A good cleansing oil will melts it's particle and when rinsed, they are completely gone.

Bonus point, the wonderful fragrance of the mascara. For me, a fragrance in mascara can be beneficial, when the scent doesn't smell good anymore, it is a reminder to toss it and get a new one.
