W~III Skincare

Hello lovelies,

those who are following me on instagram or youtube, must have known about my recent love, it's W~III Skincare from Taiwan. Please do watch the video at my youtube channel (here) before continue reading the post. You'll see the texture as well.

On the video, I'll share with you two products I've received and in this post it will be three, Night Cream, Essence (or serum) and Day Cream. I've been using the Night Cream and Essence since perhaps two weeks before receiving the Day Cream, and now, I'm using them continuing the routine.

Look at the packaging, they look gorgeous, right?! Some even say the container itself is luxurious. I do agree, and the one that made me interested in the products even more, is what's in it.

Let's start with the details of the essence or serum.

Skin Remodeling Essence

Where did I get all of these information? From the people who understand the brand and even I met with some of them during last week event, a beauty convention in Jakarta. I thought I already learn a lot when I was given a product knowledge but I understand even more when I met them, and one more good news, W~III will open their first counter soon in Jakarta.

Nerd alert, this is for those who really want to know the research behind W~III Skincare, and I must say, it does contain a handful of difficult words, don't be embarrassed, do google up. I really feel the need showing you this since, for me, it's ground breaking and mind blowing too. Like they did a pretty serious stuff in finding the right ingredients and formula for that highly effective skincare that made any other skincare in the market (no matter how pricey they are) looks less beneficial.

And please do compare W~III with other high quality skincare on its class, and not that mass produce stuffs that really bad for your skin where it is filled with bad chemicals and water only.

β-glucans are notable for their ability to modulate the immune system. They work in an incredibly powerful way by stimulating the activity of

macrophages, which are versatile immune cells that ingest and demolish invading pathogens. As they do so, they stimulate other immune cells

to attack. Macrophages also release cytokines, chemicals that when secreted enable the immune cells to communicate with one another. In

addition, beta glucans stimulate lethal white blood cells that bind to tumors or viruses, and release chemicals to destroy it. Not surprisingly

then, they turn out to be useful antioxidants. One study found that yeast-derived beta-glucan could reduce free radical formation in vitro.

For ages, it was believed that the large molecular structure of beta glutens would prevent them from effectively penetrating the skin. This all

changed a few years ago with a study published in International Journal of Cosmetic Science. The results showed that beta-glucan, “despite its

large molecular size, deeply penetrated the skin into the epidermis and dermis.” The same team tested 27 people to evaluate the effects of

beta-glucan on facial fine lines and wrinkles. After 8 weeks, there was “a significant reduction of wrinkle depth and height, and overall

roughness.”

So after the penetration issue was resolved, a team at the University of Alberta discovered how. It seems that the beta glucan enters the skin

the same way that water penetrates a brick wall. “It does not go through the brick, it goes through the concrete binding the bricks together,”

explained the lead scientist. “As a result of our study, we now know that glucan works through the inter-cellular lipid matrix, or the cells’

cement, to enter the lower levels of the skin. Of medical significance is the fact that beta glucan creams promote wound healing and reduction

in scaring following surgical procedures.”

Other researchers believe that beta glucan stimulates collagen, possibly by inducing the release of immune/inflammatory mediators, such as

IL-1 and NFkB.

Need me to sum it up?
Basically, the ingredients help healing, build immune, strong antioxidant, reduce scar in a significant way (obvious to the naked eye), reduce wrinkle and lines too, and many more. And in my case, the first visible sign is the pores, they literally shrunk to a soft and smooth appearance.

Above is the serum, I put some in a small bowl and the below image are is for Day Cream (lighter blue with gel like consistency) and Night Cream, slightly purplish with richer cream like texture that easily drank by the skin.

All of their products contain no colorant, so the 'blue-ness' are from the natural ingredients with high concentrate and really good for the skin.

I love their smell, it's so faint and floral. Signs of using natural ingredients for sure. All of them, from the essence, day and night cream works hand in hand in creating a better skin for me. Even thou' their texture is really light (those with normal to oily skin can enjoy), dry skin like mine is happy also. It is enough. I can add another hydrating emulsion when needed but these three is a great anti aging formula that I can't even compare.

Trust me when I said that I've tried so many skincare in the market, from the luxurious to mediocre, and again, I want to speak in the level that is somewhat equal with W~III and it's superb.

I'm almost 40 years old, hence I know the real issues of aging. I'm living it, and I've been using anti aging products before reaching 25, almost all the high end brands in the market has landed on my skin, I know their texture, scents, they effectiveness and some even faults too. I can say that W~III Skincare, actually works, they made differences.

I used to have normal skin in my 20's and change to dry and sensitive, it's normal for a skin to change perspective and changing products according to the skin's need and W~III filled the skin with the needs I am right now. Lines, some large pores, some sensitiveness, dehydration, uneven skin tone to some dark spots.

Using W~III Skincare (especially the Night Cream and Essence) for around 3 weeks now, I can see that the skin appear healthier in terms of fading spot, smaller pores as mentioned above that made my skin appear smoother, to help in even out the skin tone. The fine lines near the eyes are definitely reducing, so does some other fine lines. The laughing lines are reducing too, and I hope it'll keep reducing so my skin appear younger and healthier.

The Essence is powerful yet so light and comfortable, the Day Cream is like a cool refreshing gel that hydrates and perfect for the day, and the Night Cream replenish the skin even more when we asleep, none of them have heavy texture, none of them is greasy, all of them are so easy to be used and show amazing result.

it's time for one of the best serum I've tried, like it's name, it is smart, custom-repair, yet it tackles so many problems according to your skin's needs.

i don't know about you, but there are times where I don't know which problems I have to deal first, is it the spots, lines or loss of firmness or even uneven skin tone, now, a serum that help me 'erase' all of those problems.

Above are the list of ingredients, there's really a lot isn't it?!

When I first got the product, the thing that comes into my mind is that, "wow, this is exactly what I need" and all in one solution so I don't have to use multiple serum, or use one serum at a time and then change on another time for another issue. This could be my all at once solution, but still, I do have some doubts as can a serum be that good, would it be too rich or too much?

First, let's start with the container, it look sleek and sophisticate-ly smart in this clear with metal inner tube and details in black. The pump is always an excellent choice for a skincare since it helps in terms of being hygienic and practicality.

Two pumps is around this much and this is what the serum looks like. Slightly gooey, like a gel, but in this milky dark yellowish tone, and surprisingly very comfortable when used.

Apply it on clean skin after cleansing and toning, spread evenly using a light massaging movement upwards direction and the first thing I felt is a firming action when the gels are melting onto the skin. I enjoy the feeling when using the serum, like a thin film that covering the whole skin, creating magic.

After the serum, I proceed with a moisturizer that provide mainly moisture from the Clinique family as well, dramatically different moisturizing lotion + for very dry to dry combination skin. And they works well together. The serum provided everything else that I need aside from the moisturizer and the moisturizer provide moisture, for me it's a match.

I love how my skin become firmer, more radiant, less problems from the agings dilemma like dark spots, uneven skin tone and lines. The effects are not dramatics but on weekly basis and the skin will keep on improving from week to week.

Overall, one of my favorite serum in terms of texture and efficacy, and definitely one of the smartest serum I've used since it tackles so many problems at once and I do recommend it for anyone above 30 or perhaps when you see many things wants to be fixed altogether without wasting your time.

When used, I don't experience any allergic reaction, redness, nor any discomfort. The serum also works well with moisturizers and doesn't leave a sticky nor greasy end.

"eyes are the window for our soul", hear that phrase a lot? I sure do! And most of the time it means the wrinkles near the eyes haha! Where more lines that indicate happiness or sadness in life. For me personally, lack of sleep, after crying, and in the midst of stress, those lines would suddenly appeared out of nowhere. This is the actual product I'm holding. It was a tube with unique tip.

The size is just right and convenient to be hold.

For me, the product pretty much precious and gives hope as when shared by the team from Guerlain, they are also excited and use the product as well.

I'm interested in trying as well since the applicator that touches the delicate skin near the eyes are made with Gold 22 carat which has been proven to be hypoallergenic.

The tip itself is made with precision and detailed information on how to use it to gain maximum benefit.

The formula? Beautiful, gel, and creamy at the same time but doesn't feel heavy at all.

Look at the finger prints details imprinted on the near back tip, a place to put the forefinger as it gives the right pressure needed, gentle and firm at the same time. No need to put too much pressure as the skin on those areas are gentle. But if you watched the video given the link above on how to use the product, you'll notice that it was made not just for under the eyes, above, surrounding, but all the way to the forehead for that perfect lifting effect.

Gently press the tube and the milky white gel will comes out from the tip.

Hold it like shown above and gently swipe the area under the eyes, makes three dots along the way and gently pulls up. All the way to the forehead using rounded movement touching the temple as well and like a acupressure massage for the face, only it's focusing on the areas for surrounding the eyes.

The cool feeling from the applicator is so comfortable and whenever needed it's just awakens me and especially the eyes. The feeling is fresh and comfortable, I don't meant to exaggerate in any kind of form but to describe it exactly how I feel.

It is like a mini chilled iron that help de-puffing, relaxes the lines and wrinkles and best of all, it gives visible result. I do see the lifting effects and the soft lines are seen no more. Using the product becomes one of my favorite thing to do on daily basis. I still suffering lack of sleeps and stress but the eyes are showing otherwise. 

It's like I'm getting 8 hours of nonsense sleep without being kicked by the baby numerous time and made no bottles of milk throughout the night.

Week 4 Let Us Change Your Skin with Kiehl's

Hello everyone, 

Finally, this is my final week with "Let Us Change Your Skin" campaign with Kiehl's. My fourth week has been ups and downs with many events and all the things happening in my life, but for my skin, it's going up all the way. Thanks to Kiehl's for keeping my skin in tip top condition. The hydration level is maintain in an optimal level, the lines are relaxed thanks to PSLRC, the skin overal condition is protected from the sun, and the cleanliness and turnover is kept well by the cleanser and scrub. Not to forget the lovely toner that is pampering and moisturizing as well. 

I've been sharing highlights on Kiehl's products over these past few weeks, please do check out my late posts on Kiehl's, some of them are even the best sellers around the world, I'm talking about Ultra Facial Cream and Powerful Strength Line Reducing Complex. These two babies works really well, in fact all of Kiehl's products works really well altogether and we can easily mix and match according to our needs. So we may use a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, all from different range, which means, it doesn't mean one must use Ultra Facial products as a set. 

Here's Ultra Facial Toner, one of the most compatible product I've used. The comforting properties is wonderful, perhaps its due to the ingredients and pH balanced too. It helps the skin to stay moist and ready for the next step, after all the skin will be able to absorb more nutrients if it's damped. 

And here it is, my skin in it's fourth week with Kiehl's. Every side looks moist and well hydrated. Comfortable and calm too. I enjoyed the relaxed lines, the skin looks like it doesn't age during these weeks, like they are staying in their comfort zone, even thou' it has been one of my most stressed and exhausted weeks due to the new member of my family. 

So overall, Kiehl's has changed my skin into a better condition, more hydrated, plumped and comfortable due to the moisture and hydration Ultra Facial series gave me. The cleanser and exfoliating properties from the scrub helps other products to be absorbed on the skin and therefor more hydration achieved. The sun screen provide a well coverage protection against the sun for a long wear too. It helps the skin condition from the bad effects of the sun. Which means it help the skin to retain water. PSLRC with high vitamin C and other ingredients made the skin radiant and have better texture.

Introducing New Clinique Repairwear Laser Focus

Hello everyone,

Clinique has recently launched a new and improved Repairwear Laser Focus. I don't see the reason why since the precedent already so good and loved, I guess Clinique always aims for something better than good.

Contain powerful ingredients that offer results in a matter of weeks. I know you can read more of them since they are everywhere in the magazine, but let me share with you something from another perspective, the comparison to the previous Repairwear Laser Focus. Not to put fingers on any parties (old vs new) but only to highlight the benefit of the new version.

Both has the same name, the previous version is wrinkle & photo damage corrector and the new one offer smooth, restores, and corrects.

Still helping to repair sun damage, reducing lines and wrinkles, one with radiance and the other for the glow.

Same innovative container with pipet. Same bottle form, color, shade, and design.

But there's a differences in the texture. The previous is runnier and felt more slippery while the new one has a texture that lighter and in terms of penetrating the skin, better and faster. With the naked eye the new one appears whiter and the previous looks more cloudier.

Both does accepted by the skin but in terms of timing, the new one absorbed faster and left almost nothing behind.
