Original Source Vanilla & Raspberry, Coconut & Shea Butter, and Mango Shower

for sure, you'll always find more than 5 soaps in my bathroom. I love using one for each day on a week. So when my mood is a bit off, I went to the citrus or fruity notes to perks me up, when I'm mellow, I'm using scents that are musk, vanilla or calming like coconut.

Very impressive, right?! Like they are actually have those details written on their production. And they have this gooey gel like texture but lathers easily and it can also be used as a bubble bath. At least, that's what my kids are doing all these times. They really like the fruity and sweet notes, they are fresh, delicious and yummy. It's like showering or bathing with cupcakes and ice creams.

The skin feels soft, comfortable and we would like to keep on using them for sure.  

Original Source Body Lotion

fresh news!!! Original Source Indonesia now have body lotions and they smell so good!!!

I was so excited meeting new items from Original Source a few weeks back in one of the biggest supermarket in Indonesia. They are having promos too.

I saw that they now have body butter, new variants of shower gels, body lotion, body spray and even body oils too. Someday I'll get them all, so I can smells so good with different scent on each day.

The two item I'm going to share in this post is their Mango Body Lotion and Mint & Tea Tree Body Lotion. One smells so fruitiliciously good and the other so minty fresh, so cold and the tea tree is like a a wonderful addition to the skin. Tea Tree oil has been known to be an antibacterial agent, when applied on the back and shoulder, perhaps it'll help reduce the acne as well.

Both of them comes is in white lotion texture, when compared side by side, there's minor differences between the lotion (mango, slightly yellowish, min & green tea, slightly greenish). However the smell is like so far apart, one is a tropical fruit and the other is so minty fresh, like super minty. But the Mango also give me a slight cooling effect too on the skin, it's not minty cold but cooling too.

Both scent last quite a while too, definitely last longer when using the shower gel, body spray and even body oil too. I smell like mango or minty all day long. Imagine using the mint on a hot muggy day, it'll help the skin and feeling to cool off.

As seen, they both contains alcohol, glycerin, shea butter and other things too, some of the 'special ones' are the key ingredients on each variant, like mango fruit extract or peppermint oil.

Overall,

they are both a very good lotion that moisturized my skin without any greasy nor oily feeling afterwards, so it's very much comfortable and the key ingredients made the products even more special. Smells so good and feels superb on the skin. Original Source has always been my favorite brand for their ingredients, effects on the skin and variations. Looking forward for more of their products.

Original Source Mint & Tea Tree

Heehee, hello everyone,

I guess every now and then products from Original Source will keep on popping up at my blog. As long as they keep adding more 'flavor', I'll keep reviewing them as well. 

I love real natural ingredients alright (as long as it's from plants). This time Original Source is mixing up some mints with tea tree to provide a refreshingly clean shower that gives the skin a cool sensation and antibacterial properties.

It is super refreshing alright and suitable to be used on hot days like these, plus the environment friendly bottle is a bonus point for preserving our mother earth.

Do you know that Original Source's bottle is kinda unique?! The opening is small and I never have one that spills. It like it's almost a vacuum container. What's inside only comes out when pressed real tight.

The texture of the green -a bit cloudy- gel is thick and like a condense milk. Lathers up real good, I think I only need around 1 table spoon into a sponge and it is enough to clean and gives a very cooling effect for the whole body.

The strong aroma of a mint is like we're inside a mint candy.

Original Source Vanilla and Raspberry

Hello gorgeous!!!

Original Source seems to never fails me in terms of expectation. Another rave review is presented to you with Vanilla and Raspberry lingering on my nose thanks to Original Source. 

I love the fresh berries mixed with vanilla, the scent become so delicious, sweet and intoxicating. I feel pampered and loved at the same time. Like when having a creamy delights of berries and vanilla ice cream altogether in a big tall glass. Topped with cherry and I think I have the best dessert ever. Well, in this case the best dessert for my skin. The soft and smooth creamy gel caressing the skin, making them clean, smells good, and so soft to the touch. It was a delicate experience that I feel comforting in so many ways. 

Use it with a piece of clothe or a sponge, but I find it more rewarding with a soft clothe. The foam is nicely done, not as many as the other variant but creamy adding that delicious vanilla, it was an experience that make rainbow looks prettier.

Original Source Lemon & Lime Shower Hair & Body (For Men?)

I guess it is not a secret anymore, sometime I do like using products that are made for men. I know that the majority of beauty products are created for women but nowadays more cool stuffs are appearing for men that I found to be interesting and practical. Like this product below.

There are a few key points that allure me to get and use one:

1. To be used for hair and body, it's an all in one product for adult (where usually found on baby's or kid's head to toe......hmm, is there a resemblence between men and babies or kids?!).

2. Smells refreshingly taunting, it's between the freshness of a lemon and a bit like a dishwashing liquid with limes >.~

3. The bright color is attractive.

4. Truly reviving.

5. Natural fragrance.

In terms of reviewing the liquid. 

The smells good experience is wonderful and rejuvenating, really fresh and citrusey, like reaaalllyyyy freshh and realllyyyy citrusey. The yellow clear liquid easily lathers on the skin, use a sponge or bathroom lilies for more foaming action. I love to dispense them on the hair and use my hair to lather them up, it cleans the scalp and hair nicely,  I kinda think of it like a detox moment, it really feels like thoroughly cleans everything it touches. Then let the foam move into my body and clean them all as well. 

Surprisingly, the skin, the scalp, and hair doesn't suffer any dryness at all after usage. No squeaky clean discomfort like from after using a cheap shampoo from a cheap salon. The scalp is wonderfully clean, the hair too and shiny (still soft), -don't forget to always use conditioner afterwards-, and the skin, hmm, clean and fresh with no abrasive effect. 

Oh I wish they made one for unisex as well, I don't see why the others could have it too? The smells of vanilla all over the hair and body, or perhaps the strawberry, hmm.

Without further ado, here's my review on both products. First of all, is the biased for all Original Source, I already love them. What can I say, I'm a big sucker in terms of Original Source and in Indonesia, their prices are so affordable, they seriously enhance my showering experience from lazy to actively seeking for a shower time. It doesn't come in a better time than this, a pregnant lady often feels the heat as their body temperature rises, we do sweat a lot and showering 3 times a day can be a dull routine ..... not anymore ladies and gentlemen!! Again, thanks to Original Source.

I want to start sharing this post's review with Cranberry & Honey Daily Scrub, first of all, it smells so sweet and endearing. The skin loves the mild and natural scrub particle that looks like from fruits, is it from strawberry? (This is actually a real question). So it was so mild, hence I understand why it is suitable for daily usage and the lathering effect is wonderful too. When about to be used, the oh-so-thick-creamy texture getting out from the packaging like squeezing a pink condensed milk from a tube, heehee, this alone has been a fun experience for me. Then, when lathered on, it feels so sticky (and still fun), bubbles up easily all over the body, making them clean, soft, gently scrubbed, and best of all, smells fruity and yummy!!! Seriously, I almost lick it, it was close (too close).

Then the Mint & Walnut Super Scrub, oohh!! I think the word super comes from the minty feeling that like taking a shower with liquid mentos (really). Details from Original Source UK:

Some days showering is just not enough, so we have teamed up our legendary 7,927 real mint leaves with the exfoliating properties of the walnut and created you one intense natural experience. Use a couple of times a week to get some seriously tingling soft bits.

So, unlike the Cranberry & Honey, the Mint & Walnut is to be used 2-3 times a week and not on daily basis, there are more particles and exfoliating properties as well, and the mint is just refreshing and feels so cold. My advice, use it during the day, not on a cold rainy days.

Gooey, jelly-like and if only you can smell them, it's like mint ice cream for the Mint & Walnut and creamy sweet cranberry milkshake for the Cranberry & Honey. It is definitely a mood booster just by smelling them. Imagine taking a shower with them heehee, can't get enough for sure.

Psstttt, I keep rambling about the texture, sensation and scent, but forgot to mentioned how it felt on the skin, Original Source products doesn't make the skin suffer with dryness, the gentle (yet awesome) formula is skin friendly and wont strip off the skin's moisture like most soap do. 

Original Source in British Strawberry Shower and Lime

Hello everyone!!!

Yesterday, I found some treasure at Hypermart, a place where I usually do grocery shopping almost like in a robotic mode thinking it wont be much different than any other day. I was almost scream (in joy) looking at the babies of Original Source on the selves, second thought came.... is it pricey? NOPE. I used them everyday in Singapore and loving every moment of it, they cost like 10$ a bottle, here in Indonesia, they cost started from Rp. 17.500 a piece, like fraction and fraction of the price abroad, haha! I'm super duper happy to be here.

I got two on my hands as fast as I could, well, at least two of my favorite, thinking I have piles of body wash at home and don't want to get on my hubby's nerves when looking at those piles yet keep adding, but whoaaa, he actually requested I should get some more, he loves the mint and tea tree. Stay tune, I definitely have some more. I love using different body wash on every single mood and occasion, it's just a thing I do.

Their products always come in this unique packaging and details, their main attraction is the REAL 'juices'. They literally smell and looks like a real fruits juices or jam.

Don't pout your mouth because it is so sour haha! Not that I've tasted it, but my skin does give it a taste, love the freshness and lemony freshness, no more being envy with the dishes for that lemon (I know it is lime but really smells and looks and feel like lemon, or like a lime cocktails, yum!) freshness :D Oh how many time should I say freshness, because it does super duper fresh and lifted up the mood in a zesty way. And for the skin lime actually help to cleanse in a natural way. Suitable to even the most stubborn person who got to lazy to take a shower. Once tried, careful, you might even got addicted to it.

I have another one that comes in totally different type, the British Strawberry, they look like blood, haha, my brother even joked about it, it's like a donated blood in the packaging. When poured on I really feel like I'm putting on some strawberry syrup on the skin, the first honest feeling is sticky, but once mixed with water, those sticky wonderful liquid will turn into lather and a fun shower begins. The strawberry scent is like jam, like a mixed of strawberry jam and milkshake, not all the way to milkshake hence it's not that 'sweet' but going there.

It's a scent that any gal should like, especially when they're in love.

Bottom line: two great products for a wonderful shower experience, each have their own characteristic according to the ingredients and effect on the skin is different as well, strawberry is more calming while the lime is exciting. Their texture also different but the lathering effect are both very good and pampering. The scent usually last in the shower only heehee, so it's more like a shower experience which  last during the shower and perhaps 20 minutes on the skin if you're lucky. But the refreshing, sublime and addictive effect will last a very long time on our other senses.

Conclusion: Must have and must try, at least choose one from their wide collection.
