NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil

this is probably a long overdue post, the images even taken months and months ago. My hair is still very much long and looks luscious, I'm definitely getting my hair long again, won't cut it for a year :D

Okay, back to the product, I'm using JEP in Milk, a shade that become so famous as it boost up the color of any eyeshadow being used afterwards.

On these images, I'm only using it as an eyeshadow base, where it actually can be used to just about any part, even lips.

Highlighter, corrector to amplifier, depends on the shade and which part used.

Just use the JEP Milk on the areas I want and this nifty trick of using a tape is also quite easy, it helps making sure the eyeshadow are in place.

The texture of the pencil is like crayon, easy to be used and somewhat smooth.

Blend it gently before applying eyeshadow and noticed that the eyeshadow holds and sticks better compared when using none. color also brighter and truer.

It also helps the eyeshadow to stay on it's place longer.

Overall, a great and cheap way to help color makeup to appear brighter and bolder. works well in numerous areas such as eyelids, lips, and pretty much all over the face as a highlighter or fair corrector. Blends easily and the only downside is I have to sharpen it as it not an automatic pencil. But that's all, so it is pretty much still a very good product worth buying for.

The pot is small and filled with sparkly white with creamy texture, the details is tiny and I have to keep focusing to read, it's a good thing they have an official website that explain everything.

The main idea of the product is to boost eyeshadow to look cooler :D NYX have 4 different shades for 4 different style. There's white, nude and black.

This one is like said to be, white pearl, as a base white brightens and made the eyeshadow has that watery glossy of the pearls.

Normal plain eyeshadow may look like conventional product, even doesn't even give a good first impression. Hard to take a swatches and need several swipe and layers of application

After using the eyeshadow base, a single swipe of eyeshadow made a huge differences, it turns so pigmented and brilliant. The eyeshadow that was easily removed with a rub and/or water, now become water resistant and last far longer to even the whole day.

On the swatches below, it was like a thick chalk on a blackboard, so intense, precise and each stroke gives an almost consistent mark on the skin.

Most of the times, I'm using it for outlining the eyebrows, it made the brows look so much tidier and cleaner. The milky whiteness may seems too crisp at first but easily blended using fingers. I can use it on a nose bridge as well. This is perfect as the snow white shade doesn't shine nor glisten to avoid that 'sweaty' finish.

Paired it up by using an eyebrow gel (also from NYX) for that perfectly defined brows.

Jumbo Eye Pencil doesn't fade, melt, nor fail me, the product just stay looking fresh for hours and hours. When used as an eyeshadow base, it made any eyeshadow put on top of it stays longer, looks more vivid and give a better finish.

I haven't try other shade but I think this particular one is a must have, very easy to be used and works out fine.

Apply it bit by bit and layered for a more coverage. Suitable for all skin tone and can be used as pasty as possible or as faint as you want it to be.

 I don't really use an eye primer before, thinking I'm not diligent enough to put one extra product for the eyes makeup, oh, I'm so wrong. Using an Eyeshadow Base Aquatique will makes the eyeshadow pops even better, more vibrant and the color actually last longer than using none. The waterproof material also made the eyeshadow remain 'undisturbed' by sweats.

The appearance of the base is actually quite nude, 01 is not your shade? No worries, the product comes in 7 shades, you should find one that matches your eyelids. And like seen on the image above, it blends right through my natural eyelid skin tone and made them more even all over.

The ingredients also made the eyelid looks better when it is a bit darker than the surrounding. The product itself is velvety but help eyeshadow to 'stick' better. This goes for those powdery eyeshadow where they tend to 'fly' here and there when used.

Overall,

A simple product made for the eyelids, easily used by fingers and blended in nicely and naturally. The base provide a base for the eyeshadow to 'stick' , 'stay' and be more vibrant longer, better and effortless.
