X2 Softlense ICE Silver Grey

Hello lovelies,

a few weeks ago these babies are sent to me. These are the colored lens by X2 (Exoticon).

They have a lot of type, color, and variant. Anyone could not be happier with their selections, but unfortunately the one sent to me doesn't really fit my eye's condition. My eyes are -4,25 and -6,50 and they handed me -4,25 and -6,00.

Inside each box are two lenses, so there are4 lenses given to me and 2 lenses case. The one I choose is ICE Silver grey.

There's several types of ICE, we could choose the golds or the silvers. Each has some variants as well. 6 shades in total.

I didn't have much faith in the product, in fact I was quite pessimistic, I've tried many lenses, a lot of them only last 5 hours max, only a few last for the whole day. I've tried one that can be used for 2-3 hours only and then the eyes becomes irritated.

Surprisingly, this one is very comfortable. I've been using the lenses for a week now and I found them totally enjoyable, even for 12 hours straight.

X2 is definitely cosmetic lenses but I find them comfortable enough on daily basis. I do need to use clear ones once in a while since ophthalmologist doesn't recommend cosmetic lenses every single day, so I try to use them in between.

Look how pretty they are, they made my eyes looks far more beautiful and gorgeous @_@ haha! I guess it's just made me looks different.

The product comes in a box that filled with details, from a pamphlet slipped inside to the inner side of the box where when we opened it up instructions, details and tips are written clearly.

The size of the softlenses are pretty normal 8,6 and 15.

Each lense can be used for 3 months. Do not extend the expire date and never sleep with a contact lenses overnight. Clean each time and always wash your hands before touching it. Purchase the right solution for contact lenses.

Followed all those safety tips and consult your doctor when needed. Remember that a healthy eyes are beautiful eyes.

Acuvue Moist is clear and suitable as a daily lenses. It claims to have more water and more comfortable to be used. I'm agree with the comfort as it doesn't make my eyes feel dry. The lenses also suitable for long hours (like 12 hours) but still, no opthalmologist would recommend using any soft lenses longer than 8 hours.

And for beauty blogger or any beauty enthusiast like me, who loves to change their eye color to be more updated with the trend, these are Vivid Style and Natural Shine.

These are Natural Shine.

The lenses are not heavily tinted, so it is like how they named it, natural. It was made to give the eyes a bit of 'enhancement' without looking too much.

Very comfortable to be used on daily basis and I have been using it for more than 12 hours and more as long as you don't tell my doctor.

This is after all considered as a 'cosmetic lenses' and not really recommended for every day use. So, do use it wisely and on special occasions only.

Now, regarding the size and shape of the lenses, I find it comfortable and I never experience any blurry vision nor discomfort when using them, any of them. But the vision does become darker, especially using Vivid Style.

And below is Natural Shine on the right and Vivid Style on the left.

By pairing them side by side, the differences is quite visible. Natural Shine is more faint in shade and Vivid Style is definitely more vivid and contain more pigment. It has that effect to make the iris seems bigger.

Each of them has their own signature look and benefit. My favorite is Vivid Style since it has the most effect. Still, compared to other cosmetic lenses out there, 1-DAY Acuvue Define is still pretty 'mild' but if you want lenses that provide a natural 'enhancement' and feels very comfortable with assurance from a reputable brand, this is definitely an option for you.

These monthly lenses are sent to me by @HoliCatid (instagram), yes, for us Indonesian, they do available here locally and you may start ordering since they are ready stock.

Below is my eyes, it is pretty obvious which one is the before and after.

The right one with Sexy Cat (in grey) looks bigger, sexier and definitely more attractive.

The patterns looks amazing.

They are very comfortable to be used within 8 hours per day. I don't find them to be drying nor blocking my view with 'clouds' nor 'fog'. It made the vision a bit darker, this is common with most color contact lenses I used.

After 8 hours, the lenses must be taken off or it will deteriorate pretty fast, perhaps due to my activity as well, and ophthalmologist also usually recommend using lenses below 8 hours.

Conclusion,

HoliCat in Sexy Cat is a grey colored lens with amazing patten that deliver comfort when used within 8 hours per day for 30 days.

Easy to be used, just insert the lens where the bolder pattern is at the outer side. The lens has enough diameter for daily usage and still made the eyes looks bigger and more attractive.

The products comes in two variant, M for matte and ME for metallic.

They are also classify themselves in the waterproof department. Neat!

I brought them during my trip to Japan last month and really love the product, it can act as an eyeliner or vivid eyeshadow. It can draw thin lines (when sharpened) or thick big lines.

As I have to walked everywhere there in a hot summer days, I've proven their ability to be waterproof and smudgeproof.

At first glance I thought that the Chestnut brown is my favorite (hence you can see many images of me with the brown in this post) but when I used the metallic green and matte black, they are equally good and looks pretty.

The color is vivid all day long. I can draw as it is or use it bit by bit and keep on smudging the colors. On the image above I didn't smudge it, just draw it on a naked lid. When using a primer or an eye base, usually the pencil become much smoother. Depends on the brand of the base as well.
