Looke Cosmetics Loose Powder dan Lip Creme

it's been way too long, aku baru sadar, sudah berbulan-bulan belum menulis di blog ini karena satu dan lain hal, salah satunya dari operasi laparoskopi usus buntu, kista dan internal bleeding yang beberapa minggu lalu aku alami, jadi memang masih recovery and I'm feeling better everyday.

Aku mau bahas mengenai Looke Cosmetics punya Loose Powder yang Freya dan Lip Creme yang Gaia.

Kemasan box hitam dengan deisgn yang unique dan modern, the box is enough lah untuk melindungi produk dari benturan kejamnya dunia kurir dan pengantaran. Jadi saat mereka sampai dirumahku, mereka sampai dengan aman dan baik. Aku lebih penasaran ke loose powdernya karena kebetulan sudah beberapa kali menggunakan lip creme Looke dengan shade yang berbeda.

Mari kita bahas dari loose powder yang dijual dengan harga Rp. 160 ribu. Setau aku ada dua shade, Freya dan Terra. Terra lebih natural dan Freya memang lebih fair atau bright dengan tone yang light.

Tampaknya ingredients pada kedua produk sedikit berbeda.

Saat dibuka, kita bisa memilih memutar (untuk membuka produk sampai ke pot powder) atau menarik seperti pada compact powder. Ada puff dan kaca yang cukup memadai. Jangan lupa untuk membuka lapisan pada kaca sebelum digunakan agar tidak blur/matte.

Karena tekstur bedak yang sangat ringan atau fine, aku merekomendasikan untuk memakai powder brush agar aplikasi lebih mudah dan merata. Sehingga saat digunakan efek loose powder yang ringan dan nyaris tak terlihat tapi tetap membuat kulit terlihat lebih halus, soft dan makeup lebih tahan lama.

Aku menggunakan loose powder Looke setelah semua makeup selesai digunakan, sebagai setting powder, namun bisa juga digunakan sebagai baking, cukup gunakan puff atau sponge, aplikasikan pada kulit di area yang diinginkan, diamkan sebentar sambil menggunakan makeup mata, lalu brush dengan powder brush.

Memang saat menggunakan puff atau sponge, powder terlihat sangat putih, namun setelah di blend atau brush dengan baik, akan terlihat alami dan lightly dust the skin to make the skin looks more flawless.

Loose powder ini menurut aku nyaman, teksturnya yang halus membuat pemakaian produk ini cukup sedikit aja dan tahan cukup lama. Karena ada kaca pada kemasan, kita bisa taruh di tas dan bawa kemanapun kita pergi, plus brush tentunya agar pemakaian bisa lebih baik. Touch up juga cukup nyaman dan membuat makeup kita kembali terlihat fresh. Kalau kulot tampak berminyak baiknya gunakan oil blotter dulu sebelum touch up dengan powder ini, sama halnya jika berkeringat, dab dulu wajah kita dengan tissue secara perlahan untuk mengeringkan agar powder bisa di brush dengan baik tanpa menempel secara berlebih di kulit yang basah atau berminyak.

Kulitku jadi terlihat soft focus gitu kan ya hehe. Aku suka efek yang dibuat loose powder ini. Bikin pori-pori terlihat lebih lembut dan garis-garis halus seakan-akan tidak ada. Efek powder ini tentunya berbeda dengan tiap orang karena tergantung aktivitas dan lingkungan, kalau berada di ruangan ber ac dengan kondisi yang tenang, jelas makeup tahan lebih lama dibanding kita harus berpanas-panas ria dibawah matahari.

Sekarang, mari kita bahas mengenai lip creme nya ya. Kali ini aku cobain warna Gaia yang seperti merah bata. Shade lain dari Looke Cosmetics menurut aku cukup natural dan earth tone, jadi sesuai untuk digunakan sehari-hari. Bukan spesifik nude, tapi tone yang memang pas buat dipakai kerja, kuliah, atau event dengan dominan warna merah yang kalem.

Lip Creme Looke Cosmetics terkenal bisa digunakan sebagai cheek cream, eyeshadow, dan tentunya bibir juga, jadi kalau mau buat one tone makeup, bisa kamu coba produk ini.

Ini adalah produk saat baru diaplikasikan, terlihat masih basah dan glossy, tapi within a few minute, akan berubah jadi totally matte. Nah, yang aku suka dari produk ini setelah dia set, gak akan geser sama sekali dan nyaman. Gak bikin kulit bibir berasa ketarik atau kering. Jadi masih cukup nyaman dipakai long hours. Kalau makan superrrr berminyak seperti bakwan di kampus Atma, ya masihlah gerak dikit, dan saat di wipe pakai tissue, ada bagian yang terangkat meski tidak banyak.

Memang konsistens dan tekstur lip cream ini baik, warnanya dari pertama swipe pekat dan entah kita mau layer atau tidak, akan tetap seperti itu. Daya coveragenya sangat baik, menutupi uneven skin tone bibir kita. Satu hal mengenai setting time lip cream ini yang sekitar 2-3 menit sebenarnya pas buat cheek cream dan eyeshadow, karena kita perlu waktu untuk mem-blend produk sebelum benar-benar set. Layering sepertinya lebih dibutuhkan saat menggunakannya sebagai cheek cream atau eyeshadow karena kita perlu membuat gradasi.

Warna lip cream bisa di mix dengan produk lain (untuk aplikasi bibir) untuk membuat style tertentu dan so far menurut aku cukup mudah di blend dan dikreasikan.

Berikut penampilan Lip Cream Gaia saat sudah mengering. Aku merasa bibirku tetap dengan nyaman bebas bergerak dan aku tidak menggunakan lip pencil atau lip liner untuk membentuk, namun jika kalian merasa perlu, silahkan gunakan.

Membersihkan lip cream ini menurut aku mudah dengan cleansing oil. Jadi makeup remover berbasis minyak akan mengangkat lip cream ini seketika, tanpa stain atau bekas apapun.

Shade Gaia ini di aku terlihat sophisticated, kalau aku ada meeting dengan beauty brand, sepertinya ini warna yang cocok aku gunakan, dimana aku terlihat gently bold tapi masih comforting (hahaha), intinya aku suka warna seperti ini karena cocok juga dengan skin tone manapun, untuk light skin memang efeknya lebih kontrast dibanding olive skin tone, karena daya coverage nya yang sangat baik, bibir dengan warna gelap pun akan dengan mudah tertutup dengan lip cream ini dalam satu usapan.

Daya tahan lip cream dengan harga Rp. 140 ribu ini juga sangat baik, tidak meninggalkan bekas di gelas, tissue, tangan, kulit siapapun (ehm), saat makan, selama kita bisa menjaga dengan tidak bersentuhan dengan makanan yang terlalu berminyak, riasan bibir ini akan awet dan bisa dengan mudah di touch up tanpa ada efek menggumpal.

Catrice Cosmetics New Collection Light Illusion Loose Powder #instabeautylook for Flawless Finish

this is another post I made for the newest makeup collection called

 #instabeautylook by Catrice Cosmetics.

They are a lot I know, and the are so good, I've made several blog post for them as well, so if you don't find the review here, don't worry, it's here: click me.

And for all of you who happens to be a fans for video only and not really into reading, I also made a youtube video, kinda like a one brand makeup with Catrice Cosmetics since I really like using them all, these babies do compliment each other and easy to be used, more like a beginner friendly cosmetics. I know I've been making so many individual posts and video for these cosmetics since they are amazing and I'm impressed, truthfully they are one of the budget friendly beauty items in the drug stores, yet they do deliver. The pigments are real and the result are visible.

Okay now, without delaying, let's start.

I'm using the makeup from the base, Prime And Fine Poreless Blur Primer, the pink tube that promises velvety skin without looking like we have pores at all. It covers imperfection and make the skin appears flawless. 

I know there's been tons of debates around using silicone but as long as you clean them well after you're done, it's okay, just remember to use a good makeup remover and the skin becomes clean.

Similar to the Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer, there's this small black container that comes with the title #Insta Blur Stick To Go that can put any difficult complexion become smooth. It's different in terms of texture with the primer in pinkish tube. It's ticker and much more creamier but deliver a smoother finish. Both of them is fine, it's just a matte of personal preference.

On the image below, I'm using Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer and the result of using #Insta Blur Stick To Go is somewhat similar. The pores are all hidden and it looks like the products has taken years of my face, I do appear younger in an instant heehee. The fine lines, the large pores, all are covered.

Next I'm using special babies called:

Prime And Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Darkening and Prime And Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Lightening. I've reviewed them on separate post, do look for it (here). There's so much to say about those babies, I couldn't wrap it up in a simple words then, they are a MUST try items. We can use it with our own foundies at home, as contouring or lightening effects for the skin to appear 3D, or to helps adjusting foundation and simply as everything you can imagine as a base.

Next in line is their highlights products (which I also made a separate post, here). It's their Arctic Glow Highlighting Powder, the one where I said it would make Elsa envy you, heehee, just simply read the post and you'll understand why.

Aside from the highlighting powder, guess what, they also have highlights creams that comes in different tone. Oh this is a must have, a treasured properties that always comes handy, whatever your mood is, the tone you're looking for is here. Easy to be applied, easy to be blended.

Either you're looking for a bronzing glow complexion, white ice queen, golden sensation, white pearls to green hint tinted sparks. They are so irresistible and I love exploring looks with them. I can use it on my face, body, to even eyes. These baby just compliments everything. Glowdoscope Highlighter Palette is something hard to be missed.

The best thing about Glowdoscope is, we can use it on a wet and dry makeup, so even after powder is set, apply it gently also works on the skin and doesn't crumbles up the whole makeup under it, it's so good and light on the skin with maximum reflecting effects. Thinking of becoming the center of attention, you probably should try using Glowdoscope Highlighter Palette.

And another highlight that reminds you of the sun kissed skin, it's Light Correcting Serum Primer in sunlight. The primer can be used before applying powder or dry makeup, mixed it up with our foundation, alone before the foundation, alongside with contour and highlights or as a body glistening lotions. Yes, it can be used on the body too, like when I want those beach bods, I drops some to my usual body lotion and keep adding the drops per section where usually it emphasizing on the legs and arms or perhaps decollete too. The effects caused is surreal.

Forget about hours under the sun and laying out doing nothing, just add this baby on to the skin.

And for sure, can be used on the face too as mentioned. The glow can be as subtle or as hard core as you want it to be, simply keep layering to achieve that goddess phenomena that shines like the sun. It's addictive I know, since they are so fine, tiny, yet the sparkles are real. They are comfortable to be used all around too.

Look at my cheek bones, no surgery has been done to achieve that look.

I know the name is primer serum, but it can be applied at any layer, wet or dry, after the skin is set or as addition, the possibility is endless, I personally love it on the cheeks and on the body. Let's move to the next product which is eye shadow palette, like The Blazing Bronze Collection Eyeshadow Palette. Below is the swatches and I couldn't even remember how many times I'm using them as I'm kinda addicted with how the colors are. They are gorgeous. The sparkles the glow, I know they can be dusty at times and fallout but a simple dusting or baking below the eyes will easily tackle the matter.

They reminds me a lot of fall season, warm and the shades made me easily in love. People even say, autumn colors are the best throughout the year and autumn look makeup is always top hits, since the look itself somehow calm and still mesmerizing.

The pigments are real but don't be scared, they can go as mild as a light brush made, or as thick as a firm brush with slightly dipped into a water spray can do much.

And it can goes way deeper and darker as we can simply layered it up. Soft smokey look, creased eye look to anything, and yes it can be used all over too, even on my youtube video, I apply them on my cheeks as a replacement of blush on.

And this baby is Blush Box, and it's sweat and waterproof, amazing right?! A product that we can happily use for outdoor busy activity, either under the sun, beach or water sport. Even thou' they don't really last for a whole day in a waterpark, but they do last longer than most blush on thanks to the particles. The product comes in 6 shades, all pinks, purplish and peach, this is the one in bronze that I'm using and yes, I'm happily using it as a contouring device heehee.

I've been talking about complexion, complexion and color, colors, you think I'll forget the two items Indonesian love the most? Their eyelashes and eyebrows haha! It's literally a money maker nowadays, fake lashes and eyebrow embroidery are everywhere and cost from hundreds of Rupiah to millions, yes, millions.

Brow Colorist Semi-Permanent Brow Mascara

• Brow Mascara
• Tint effect
• Gel formula enriched with fibres

A mascara that colored the brows to a natural colors that enveloped each hair strands and last. The tint effect is never over the top and comes in three shades of browns and greys. 

And there's mascara too in truest black.

The Little Black One Volume Mascara True Black

• Ellipse-shaped elastomer brush
• For perfectly separated, voluminous lashes
• Design in a leather look

The mascara might need some time to set and yes, I do add powders a bit to add volume to the lashes and help ease out the bit of stickiness, but then when it settles, it sets.

The blackness of the mascara is intriguing, I'm using it on my brows too, they look much defined and formed better. Just be careful for not putting to much pressure to avoid block looking brows.

Last but definitely not least, the one that deserve most of the space in this post, the Light Illusion Loose Powder.

Or known mostly as banana powder.

I'm using the powder as baking, dusting, finishing, setting powder, and it's great as a powder that helps setting everything without changing the glow tone, so don't expect a mattefying effects ya, more like beautifying for this one haha!

Use a powder brush to gently dust all the powders to evenly distribute the powders, or using a beauty sponge to dab for baking. It's as easy as using powders and the not so fine particles never ruin or made the makeup under it fade away or hidden from the spotlight, so I consider this powder that help makeup underneath last longer without covering them too much.

On above image, I'm using the powder after wet makeup (liquid foundies, creams and so on), and below after all colors, as a setting powder, and they can works just fine creating a lightweight makeup illusion.

The powder is truly yellow in tone, hence it made the skin appear brighter and away from dullness. The powder contain no smell as most of Catrice Cosmetics, aside from the lippies thou,

Start from the cleansing that does help my skin to feel cleaner, smoother and does remove dull skin without pain nor discomfort. It's pretty much addictive with the bubbling effects. They kept on bursting and bubbling for endless minutes before I rinsed everything off.

how are you? I hope everyone is well.

Oh! I'm so excited sharing this baby to you, it's a surprise finding a really good product in a quest where I'm not particularly looking. I was in Bangkok, going inside a mall in Siam area, going inside Arcova, a Korean shop with many goodies from beauties, electronics to cuties like dolls and handy stuffs for daily lifestyle.

I've been traveling quite a lot in this past few years, so I've been collecting beauty products from many places around the world, it's been fun and I've been through a lot too. As long as I can rest on a good hotel at night trying and reviewing my beauty products, I'm happy.

I choose one thing that I really need during that time, a green loose powder that is perfect for redness and it can make my pinkish skin appear fairer and more flawless. And as mentioned above, surprisingly the formula is so light and airy. The texture is super fine and the reason why I'm loving it is because, it is almost like a dust, so pleasantly soft. Like a baby powder.

The product comes in three colors, one for normal everyday condition where you just want to even out the skin tone and act like a finishing powder that simply sets. The green one neutralize redness, and pink add rosy tone for a pale looking skin, it made the skin appear lovelies, like it was so fresh.

One more think that I think it was the best loose powder that, it absorb oils. And it leaves the hydrating water alone, so the skin doesn't feel squeaky dry and tight. This is the best part where the skin remain powdery soft without any discomfort. You do understand that we need moisture, but not the greasy oily feeling, well, this loose powder does that, it took away oil but not the comfortable hydration.

The part where my skin is usually oily is the nose and cheeks area, it was somewhat look like they are sensitive. I did use a skincare that helps with the redness and they are working well, still, during heat, they are blushing easily.

One more surprise, the loose powder can be used on hair lines too, those with bangs will truly appreciate the feature as it keeping them looking fresh.

I love it, finding the loose powder has become my highlight when visiting Arcova now, it helps me in so many way, not just dealing with redness but keeping the skin looking fresh and alive. It has tiny particles that last, making me look like I just put on my makeup. I'm using it after finishing the base and before color and a bit as setting too.

I happen to receive their CC Cream in Light Beige, and I think the shade is suitable for Indonesian as it is not too bright, the tone is just right and suitable for natural finish.

The texture is creamy but easy to blend, definitely not heavy but not to thin too, it provide an ample coverage.

The compact is pretty, it is a powder foundation, hence it have the ability to cover the skin from imperfection, and the sponge is provided too with a round shape mirror on the top of the lid. It's perfect for makeup on the go.

The loose powder have fine particles that helps sets the makeup. The opening dots helps dispense the powder just enough and the puff is suitable for travel, still, I prefer my handy dandy brushes for application.

The tone of the skin even out, the pores seems small, the skin looks so soft and smooth, they become flawless after each application and last but not least, the product has a good water resisting, not waterproof okay, it's resisting, which means it is still easy to clean using micellar water cleanser or any makeup remover but gives sufficient power against water, like when you sweat or accidentally got a bit of splash.

I'm usually use them start from the CC Cream, on a clean skin right after all of the skincare. The CC Cream itself was created as a color corrector, it helps the skin to look at its best with a natural touch. So don't expect a heavy makeup look, but look forward to a better complexion, plus it comes with a skincare infusion too like vitamins, green tea extract and hyaluronic acid. Last but not least, a protection against sun with SPF 40+ / PA++.

Top it off with the Powder Foundation, I use my foundie flat brush most of the time, it helps the coverage and since the texture is dense and dry, it adhere nicely on top of the CC Cream. The sponge provided help putting on the powder during touch ups too, and it can be used on damp or dry skin. Aside from the coverage provided, the compact also have a sheer sun protection for daily use.

The loose powder might be the last step but it is not less important than the rest, it may be sheer in coverage but it helps keeping everything together and last longer too. I can simply use the CC Cream and loose powder for daily use, or all three of them to create a better coverage, a higher one for events or special occasion without looking like overly done.

Since their product is in the budget friendly category, I think I can easily recommend the goods to anyone. And since their shades are pretty natural, they can be used for almost all Indonesian skin tone, or perhaps most Asian. You could try from the CC Cream, or loose powder that happens to be so universal (in terms of shade and function), or, that compact powder, perfect for beauty on the go as a dual cake.
