Catrice Cosmetics New Collection Light Illusion Loose Powder #instabeautylook for Flawless Finish

this is another post I made for the newest makeup collection called

 #instabeautylook by Catrice Cosmetics.

They are a lot I know, and the are so good, I've made several blog post for them as well, so if you don't find the review here, don't worry, it's here: click me.

And for all of you who happens to be a fans for video only and not really into reading, I also made a youtube video, kinda like a one brand makeup with Catrice Cosmetics since I really like using them all, these babies do compliment each other and easy to be used, more like a beginner friendly cosmetics. I know I've been making so many individual posts and video for these cosmetics since they are amazing and I'm impressed, truthfully they are one of the budget friendly beauty items in the drug stores, yet they do deliver. The pigments are real and the result are visible.

Okay now, without delaying, let's start.

I'm using the makeup from the base, Prime And Fine Poreless Blur Primer, the pink tube that promises velvety skin without looking like we have pores at all. It covers imperfection and make the skin appears flawless. 

I know there's been tons of debates around using silicone but as long as you clean them well after you're done, it's okay, just remember to use a good makeup remover and the skin becomes clean.

Similar to the Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer, there's this small black container that comes with the title #Insta Blur Stick To Go that can put any difficult complexion become smooth. It's different in terms of texture with the primer in pinkish tube. It's ticker and much more creamier but deliver a smoother finish. Both of them is fine, it's just a matte of personal preference.

On the image below, I'm using Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer and the result of using #Insta Blur Stick To Go is somewhat similar. The pores are all hidden and it looks like the products has taken years of my face, I do appear younger in an instant heehee. The fine lines, the large pores, all are covered.

Next I'm using special babies called:

Prime And Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Darkening and Prime And Fine Make Up Transformer Drops Lightening. I've reviewed them on separate post, do look for it (here). There's so much to say about those babies, I couldn't wrap it up in a simple words then, they are a MUST try items. We can use it with our own foundies at home, as contouring or lightening effects for the skin to appear 3D, or to helps adjusting foundation and simply as everything you can imagine as a base.

Next in line is their highlights products (which I also made a separate post, here). It's their Arctic Glow Highlighting Powder, the one where I said it would make Elsa envy you, heehee, just simply read the post and you'll understand why.

Aside from the highlighting powder, guess what, they also have highlights creams that comes in different tone. Oh this is a must have, a treasured properties that always comes handy, whatever your mood is, the tone you're looking for is here. Easy to be applied, easy to be blended.

Either you're looking for a bronzing glow complexion, white ice queen, golden sensation, white pearls to green hint tinted sparks. They are so irresistible and I love exploring looks with them. I can use it on my face, body, to even eyes. These baby just compliments everything. Glowdoscope Highlighter Palette is something hard to be missed.

The best thing about Glowdoscope is, we can use it on a wet and dry makeup, so even after powder is set, apply it gently also works on the skin and doesn't crumbles up the whole makeup under it, it's so good and light on the skin with maximum reflecting effects. Thinking of becoming the center of attention, you probably should try using Glowdoscope Highlighter Palette.

And another highlight that reminds you of the sun kissed skin, it's Light Correcting Serum Primer in sunlight. The primer can be used before applying powder or dry makeup, mixed it up with our foundation, alone before the foundation, alongside with contour and highlights or as a body glistening lotions. Yes, it can be used on the body too, like when I want those beach bods, I drops some to my usual body lotion and keep adding the drops per section where usually it emphasizing on the legs and arms or perhaps decollete too. The effects caused is surreal.

Forget about hours under the sun and laying out doing nothing, just add this baby on to the skin.

And for sure, can be used on the face too as mentioned. The glow can be as subtle or as hard core as you want it to be, simply keep layering to achieve that goddess phenomena that shines like the sun. It's addictive I know, since they are so fine, tiny, yet the sparkles are real. They are comfortable to be used all around too.

Look at my cheek bones, no surgery has been done to achieve that look.

I know the name is primer serum, but it can be applied at any layer, wet or dry, after the skin is set or as addition, the possibility is endless, I personally love it on the cheeks and on the body. Let's move to the next product which is eye shadow palette, like The Blazing Bronze Collection Eyeshadow Palette. Below is the swatches and I couldn't even remember how many times I'm using them as I'm kinda addicted with how the colors are. They are gorgeous. The sparkles the glow, I know they can be dusty at times and fallout but a simple dusting or baking below the eyes will easily tackle the matter.

They reminds me a lot of fall season, warm and the shades made me easily in love. People even say, autumn colors are the best throughout the year and autumn look makeup is always top hits, since the look itself somehow calm and still mesmerizing.

The pigments are real but don't be scared, they can go as mild as a light brush made, or as thick as a firm brush with slightly dipped into a water spray can do much.

And it can goes way deeper and darker as we can simply layered it up. Soft smokey look, creased eye look to anything, and yes it can be used all over too, even on my youtube video, I apply them on my cheeks as a replacement of blush on.

And this baby is Blush Box, and it's sweat and waterproof, amazing right?! A product that we can happily use for outdoor busy activity, either under the sun, beach or water sport. Even thou' they don't really last for a whole day in a waterpark, but they do last longer than most blush on thanks to the particles. The product comes in 6 shades, all pinks, purplish and peach, this is the one in bronze that I'm using and yes, I'm happily using it as a contouring device heehee.

I've been talking about complexion, complexion and color, colors, you think I'll forget the two items Indonesian love the most? Their eyelashes and eyebrows haha! It's literally a money maker nowadays, fake lashes and eyebrow embroidery are everywhere and cost from hundreds of Rupiah to millions, yes, millions.

Brow Colorist Semi-Permanent Brow Mascara

• Brow Mascara
• Tint effect
• Gel formula enriched with fibres

A mascara that colored the brows to a natural colors that enveloped each hair strands and last. The tint effect is never over the top and comes in three shades of browns and greys. 

And there's mascara too in truest black.

The Little Black One Volume Mascara True Black

• Ellipse-shaped elastomer brush
• For perfectly separated, voluminous lashes
• Design in a leather look

The mascara might need some time to set and yes, I do add powders a bit to add volume to the lashes and help ease out the bit of stickiness, but then when it settles, it sets.

The blackness of the mascara is intriguing, I'm using it on my brows too, they look much defined and formed better. Just be careful for not putting to much pressure to avoid block looking brows.

Last but definitely not least, the one that deserve most of the space in this post, the Light Illusion Loose Powder.

Or known mostly as banana powder.

I'm using the powder as baking, dusting, finishing, setting powder, and it's great as a powder that helps setting everything without changing the glow tone, so don't expect a mattefying effects ya, more like beautifying for this one haha!

Use a powder brush to gently dust all the powders to evenly distribute the powders, or using a beauty sponge to dab for baking. It's as easy as using powders and the not so fine particles never ruin or made the makeup under it fade away or hidden from the spotlight, so I consider this powder that help makeup underneath last longer without covering them too much.

On above image, I'm using the powder after wet makeup (liquid foundies, creams and so on), and below after all colors, as a setting powder, and they can works just fine creating a lightweight makeup illusion.

The powder is truly yellow in tone, hence it made the skin appear brighter and away from dullness. The powder contain no smell as most of Catrice Cosmetics, aside from the lippies thou,

that contains a hint of berries scent. Which for sure, I'v reviewed it on a separate post heehee. The juicy red glossy lippies that made my lips appear like juicy and seductive.

Althea Makeup Sunrise & Moonrise, Watercolor Cream Tint, and Flawless Creamy Concealers

after about a month or two trying their makeup set, here they are, the reviews of the products. I did made a youtube video (here) where I'm using all of their products, including an acne gel and sparkly gel eyeliner.

On the photos here, I'm using the makeup too from Althea. From Eyeshadow, concealers, liquid lips and glittery eyes. My theme was a Glistening Red Valentine Makeup with Althea. The skin itself looks flawlessly glistening, perhaps thanks to all the concealers applied and cover all imperfections. The products are easy to be used and simple as it is. Their pigments also not bad, pretty much bold and daring.

I know the red lips can be intimidating, but they also have the coral too, don't worry, since the theme is red valentine, I just had to use the red one and I love it, it's perfect for red lovers.

The eyeshadow itself is pretty creamy and easy to be blend, when doing makeup for indoor photoshoot I can imagine myself adding some vaseline for a watery lids and how charming it would be.

Okay, let's start again from the base, from the concealers creams, they are creamy alright and comes in 4 shades. I know that they are pretty mild and bright in terms of shade, no visible darkness here, just vanilla, ginger, honey, and mocha. I can't even use the darkest one as contouring but they work like a charm in hiding imperfections.

Dab, dab, dab on the area needed, doesn't have to be the whole face, but you can if you want, and then blend it using a brush or sponge, or even finger. It will stay, puff it out with a bit of powder to set the concealing power.

And these are the eyeshadows, the one that can be used as highlights on any part of the face and body too. My cheeks are using them on the top part, hence you can see the glistening, it just add a sparkly dimension on the face. There are some fall outs but it was bearable, do some baking before applying eyeshadow for a cleaner finish.

Plum, strawberry, peach and marron, they are all so gorgeous and staining too, so your lips wont ever be naked when using the cream tint, there's always a flush, and I'm using it for my cheeks too on these photos.

The product smells like berry, not really heavily scented but it was noticeable. The creamy formula is comfortable and pleasant, kinda slippery and wet, and it does stays wet for a long time, you can simply dab a bit with tissue to ease the 'wet' sensation so they'll become more comfortable. But if you prefer a wet glass lips, just leave it on. The cream tint also easy to be reapply as it wont be noodling.

Spotlight Eye Glitter

Last but not least, the glistening on the inner corner of my eyes are the spotlight eye glitter and the swatches are below the lippies on the picture above. There's one in gold and pink, we can use it as a glitters for the mid of the lids, or inner corner of the eyes, or waterlines, or even on other places the body.

The product does last and have a good staying power, but not really rub proof. It resist water too but not completely as in it will gradually lessen and lessen as in it will fall off little by little.

So, what do you think about these babies, I still think that they worth having. On the image below, did you noticed that the lips is different? That's when the product has been lifted off using facial tissue, so the stained lips look itself is pretty amazing and suitable for daily use, in the end, it is pretty kiss-proof for a romantic valentine night.

Lakme Classics Reinvent Brightening Foundation, Compact Powder, and Eyebrow Pencil

this time I'm back with makeup from Lakme Classic Reinvent brightening foundation, compact powder, and eyebrow pencils. A set makeup that recently been shared by Lakme Cosmetics. Now, this one is actually a range that was more affordable alias murah sis. Foundienya aja Rp.79k dan pencil alisnya Rp.49k, so they are realllyy budget friendly.

But still, even thou' they are in the budget friendly zone, they are still good and for me? Effective in so many ways possible.

I couldn't really find details about them on the web.But Lakme gladly handed me some of the product information needed and I'm going to pass some to you.

First, let's start with Skin Brightening Foundation yang waterbased, jadi clearly, jauh lebih ringan daripada yang oil based ya. Meski terasa ringan dan melembabkan, jangan salah, coverage-nya buildable, pemakaian 2-3 kali udah nutup banget semua yang perlu di"hilangkan". Ada kandungan niacinamide, nah inilah bahan yang bantu memcerahkan kulit.

Foundationnya ada 4 shades yaitu Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep yang menurut aku ini udah cukup banget pas buat kulit orang Indonesia or perhaps Asian too. Karena perbedaan 1 shade ke yang lainnya cukup lumayan, dibawah adalah foto swatch compact powder dan foundation shade Fair dan Light.

Paling terang adalah Fair, 2 swatch pertama dari kiri adalah powder dan foundie Fair, dan dua dari kanan adalah foundie dan compact Light. Keliatan banget kan bedanya, jadi jangan salah, meski gak tersedia dalam 40 shades yang bedanya tipis-tipis, ini bisa di mixed antara 4 (fair, Light, Medium, Deep) untuk adjust ke warna sesuai dengan yang kamu inginkan.

Meski memang mungkin buat yang kulitnya super gelap, shade nya belum mumpuni, jadi buat saudara kita yang dari Papua contohnya, mungkin harus cari brand lain. Semoga someday shade Lakme lebih banyak ya.

Finishnya efek natural matte, yang aku sih merasa cocok, karena pas buat sehari-hari, gak matte kering, gak dewy gossy juga yang  kadang kalau dipakai outdoor jadi kayak super shiny. Tapi foundienya bisa di blend dengan produk lain until I get the right finish that I want. If I want it to be super matte, just add matte powder in finishing and if I want a dewy complexion, I can focus on glowing base as well.

Cleaning the product after use and like on all of other makeup, simply use a makeup remover all over.

Now, let's continue with the next item, the compact.

Compact powder rasanya masih cukup heits ya buat dipakai sehari-hari, dengan wet sponge atau dry brush, untuk mendapatkan hasil yang berbeda. Mengandung vitamin B3 and skin brightening pearl.

Shade nya sama dengan foundie, ada 4 dan namanya juga sama, Fair, Light, Medium dan Deep. Deep bisa dipakai untuk contour dan eyeshadow, seperti semua makeup ya, apa yang bisa dipakai di bagian muka ya bisa buat semuka hehe. Seperti lipstik bisa buat cheek cream, eyeshadow yang bisa buat shading, dsb.

Mari kembali ke compact powder yang kacanya cukup buat aku sumringah karena the size itself is big and satisfying. Puff nya sih standart dan bisa diganti dengan tools favorit, which for me, powder brush. Coveragenya juga buildable, jadi setelah pakai foundie lalu ditambah dengan compact powder ini bisa maksimal menutup segala permasalahan di kulit, nah soal harga? Rp 69k saja. Bayangkan budget friendly banget kan.

Buat aku pribadi, foundie dan powdernya pas buat dipakai sehari-hari tanpa bikin kantong jebol, dan perasaan saat menggunakan kedua produk ini juga cukup nyamanm bahkan agak-agak kaya tidak berasa pakai apapun, karena memang lightweight. Mungkin karena foundie yang water based tadi cukup berperan dibanding yang thick creamy apalagi oily texture.

Dengan alasan ringan in pulalah, mereka saat dipakai berbarengan lebih awet di kulit. Engga terasa pakai. And one more thing, the powder contain SPF 20 which is light I know, tapi lumayan buat nambah-nambahin SPF di kulit daripada engga ada.

Sekarang, mari kita mengupas eyebrow pencils nya yang ada pilihan brown dan black. Pada foto diatas, I'm using their brown shade which already seems deep enough for me, still, I like the black one too since it add a different dimension on me. Jadi paling pakainya sesuai mood/ look yang diinginkan.

Produk seharga Rp. 40k ini, paraben dan oil free. Mengandung Vit E, mudah digunakan dan mudah diblend. Meski pensilnya kelihatan kering, di alis tetep super nyaman dan nempel banget di alis. Jadi pas pakai, pelan-pelan aja ya, jangan terlalu diteken biar gak bold sangat.

1 hal yang aku suka meski mereka gak waterproof, tapi staying powernya dapet dan smudge resistant. Jangan digosok-gosok juga, pasti ada pengaruhnya. Bersihkan dengan makeup remover sih gampang ya, sekali swipe juga hilang (oil base makeup remover), yang artinya, kalau kamu super oily dan gampang banget keringetan, tambahkan sedikit mattefying powder di alis, biar pensilnya lebih awet stay disana.

Tidak dilengkapi dengan serutan dan brush ya, jadi silahkan pakai serutan dan brush eyebrow lain hehe.

Jujur ini pensil alis yang cukup murah tapi very good. I really love it apalagi pas diserut gak gampang patah atau lumer, jadi gak ngotorin serutan juga kaya yang model crayon bleber gitu. Pas diserut sampe runcing, bisa bikin garis-garis super halus kaya baru habis sulam alis, sukaaaa banget!

Meski harganya budget friendly (banget) bukan berarti produk murahan yaaa, so far kulit aku gak ada iritasi atau masalah selama pemakaian, dan jangan lupa hukum yang berlaku untuk semua makeup, dibersihkan dengan seksama dan jangan dibawa tidur. Lalu kalau bergadang boleh? Yah jangan lah ya, setelah sekitar 8 jam cukup lah, dibersihkan saja kulitnya dan kalau butuh makeup lagi dibersihkan dulu, diberi skincare dulu, baru makeupan lagi.

Semua detail cukup ada di kemasannya, jadi silahkan dibaca di bagian box sebelum dibuang hehe.

This is the product, it comes with a delightful pretty white puff that is so adorable and clean. Wait until I started squeezing the tube and there it is, gently, slowly but sure the color comes out, so exciting!

Look at that! And the feeling on the lips is sensational, let's just say it's the feeling of silicone haha! The number one ingredients is after all dimethicone. So it's very smooth, very rich in velvety creamy sensation like the lips feels ultra sexy. I really enjoy the bold color and very fulfilling in terms of pigment and the velvet texture itself is amazing, I would love to try more colors from them, it's addictive.

Lakmé Absolute Reinvent x Anggie Rassly Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil

finally, after months of thinking I've done the review on my blog, I know remember, I have none. Really sorry for everyone, oops, my bad. I think I'm overly excited with the giveaway, the goods itself and I'm traveling a lot lately, so even thou' I brought and been using the products often, I didn't really have time to write it down, well, here it is.

After months and months of using the eyebrow pencil, I think this post should be suffice heehee.

Thank goodness I still have pictures from the event, it was luxurious and classy isn't it?! The gold and black are a match like the product itself. Precision Marble Eyebrow Pencil comes in two shades of grey and brown. A two most sought after shades for eyebrows since they provide a more natural impact and the marble formula itself is a trademark which made us able to create a finer looking brows.

Anggie herself share with us during the event, that she always use more than one color to create her signature eyebrows for her client, maybe this is also one of her secret.

The product comes in a box where you don't just get a product, but a sharpener as well. Not just a cheap sharpener but a good quality one that is pretty reliable. The pencil itself is not too soft, it's perfectly made as it doesn't crumble easily when sharpened, yet still gentle on the skin. The colors does stick on the skin and hair without fail and hold on to it until being cleaned.

The Eyebrow Pencil is not waterproof nor rub proof. But it does have staying power, so it's more like a water resistant. As long as we don't keep on rubbing it off, the brows will stay put.

The pencil also comes with a brush on the other end. So this is I suppose an all in one product made with care by Lakme Absolute Reinvent, you don't have to worry about getting a sharpener and another separated brush. These babies works together in harmony.

The pencil itself come in a perfect size, not too tiny and not too big, you know, like a chubby stick.

The marble-ness can be seen on the product. It appear like a multicolored pencil, which it is.

Too Faced is back with their collection that made us cringe... in pure happiness haha, just looking at their stuffs somehow made me smile from ear to ear, either it is because they come in colorful variants or the smell itself. Yes, I can easily sniff them from the tester section in Douglas at Utrecht. There's no way I'm going out without getting some on my hands.

In this occasion I'm getting their Frosted Fruits in Pink Lemonade. I know I have too many makeups and highlights but still, this one smells so surreal-ly good haha! Like their chocolate and peach departments, oh, who can forget how delicious their chocolate bar is and how fresh the peach in those lovely orange-coral hue, like the world is took by storm. Many of their items also sold outs and gets out of hands like their famous Born This Way foundation. It's banana.... wait, they also have a banana powder smells exactly like ripe banana haha! It's a fruit vendor alright!

Now, back to the Frosted Fruit Highlighter Stick, I bought one since I think it's so good, well, most of their stuffs like eye-shadow palette also good, but thanks to the limited space on luggage, I bought this one and a mascara, yes, you definitely know what it is.

Since I don't have any highlighter stick and it is so different that the liquid, or the powder, like totally different (keep trying to make some sort of legit excuse in purchasing the item), I got the Pink Lemonade.

The packaging looks stylish, pretty and doesn't look and doesn't feel cheap. It goes back and forth easily. Upon opening the lid, the aromatic Pink Lemonade is just pure awesome, it's mildly sweet with so much freshness in between. The color is gorgeous, I love how pearly and golden it is with that luminescence ambiance. The cream is luscious and feels ultra smooth on the skin, and as suspected, the first ingredient is dimethicone as in silicone. If you happen to be sensitive with it, do avoid using the product.

Now, for the rest of us, do enjoy using it and don't forget to clean it properly with makeup remover as sometime silicone can cause breakout when left on the skin and blocked the pores.

So yes, when handle with care, you can get that lovely multi-colored glow that you've (ehm I'm) been looking for.

I'm applying it on my cheeks, I'm smiling since the Pink Lemonade aroma puts my mood to the top. Look at that watery effects like my skin is so moist and supple. It's the effect that most people are looking in a glass skin effect without any of the sticky and uncomfortable feelings such as itchy, oily and greasy. So when I'm using it, the Highlighter Stick is pure comfort. I can use it on my wet makeup, or dry, it doesn't matter, they don't destroy, ruin, or even faintly move the makeup under it. I can use it on my body too.

The Highlighter Stick is multi purpose, as I can use it for the whole face as well as a glowing primer. It somehow create that 'glow-from-within" aura.

Does the product worth the 30$ price tag? Hmm, not really, haha! I think it's more like a 20 dollar product, oops, sorry. Like it was rather pricey. I do like the whole Pink Lemonade extravaganza from the aroma, sensation when using the product, the smooth creamy feeling, the glow to even the packaging, but it does still feel too expensive. Aside from decorative makeup, it doesn't give the skin any skincare benefit, so that's why I find it over the top.

Still, I bought it..guilty as charged. So, in the end, I can't really say it's recommended or not, since I'm still torn in between. Will I buy another Too Faced cosmetics? Definitely yes!
