Kiehl's Superbly Smoothing Argan Conditioner

heehee, for those who are subscribing to my blog must have realized the series of non stop reviewing today, yes, I have a lot on my draft and since recently days are filled with events, I merely have time to post. Now as the day has come where there's not an event to attend, I can make reviews :D

This is a product I've been using for weeks, hence you'll probably noticed the tube is not plump anymore but rather thin.

Superbly Smoothing Argan Conditioner

An anti-frizz conditioner that moisturizes and detangles hair

• Effectively smooths hair without weighing it down, while preventing frizz and fly-aways
• Imparts a sleeker, more manageable look and feel to hair
• Formulated with fairly-traded Argan Oil, Safflower Oil, and emollient Cocoa Butter to add moisture and shine
• Silicone and Paraben-Free

How to Apply:
-Shampoo with Kiehl’s Superbly Smoothing Argan Shampoo
-Rinse and apply a generous amount of conditioner to hair, especially the ends
-Gently work through the hair and leave on for two to three minutes
-Rinse with lukewarm water
-Style as usual

Argan Oil 

Indigenous to Morocco’s Atlas Mountain Region, this fairly-traded, organic Argan Oil is derived from the Argan Tree and is naturally rich in poly-unsaturated fatty acids, including Tocopherols (Vitamin E), and Omega-6 and Omega- 9 fatty acids, which are known for having restorative and protective properties on the skin.

Safflower Oil

Safflower Oil, extracted from the plant's seeds, consists primarily of linoleic acid triglycerides. It is a carrier oil, also considered hydrating to the skin and used in lotions and conditioners.

Cocoa Butter 

Cocoa Butter is a yellowy lipid expressed from the roasted seeds of the cocoa plant. It is solid at room temperature but melts at body temperature. It softens and lubricates skin and is used in a variety of skin care formulations.

The product is slightly creamy, white and smells exactly like the whole collection of superbly, like this deep citrus.

It is made for dry hair and can be benefit for the parts that are damaged too. The natural benefit of argan is healing, either skin or hair.

The conditioner is silky and can be used for just about any hair type aside from the dry, it made my daughter's hair soft and smooth too and mine to be tangle free. Do avoid the scalp as conditioner are never meant for scalp. Only on the mid length part of the hair and all the way to the ends.

The scent is comfortable, since I personally love the superbly collection, but it is mild and doesn't stay long after rinsing.

I dry my hair as usual or style and the hair usually stays shiny thanks to the conditioner. Definitely suitable to be used daily after shampooing and don't forget to rinse it thoroughly.

I love touching my hair as it made them softer.

Kiehl's Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Cream

My say: I bough the product like Rp.112.000 during 30% disc after the seminar, it's the only thing I need at the moment, well not really I just want to keep trying their top 10 items ^o^ I am indeed very picky in terms of deodorant because it will lead to either embarrassment or lovely fresher time. 

About 8 out of 10 deodorant that I bought is a complete failure, I've tried many brands, formula, texture, ingredients (from the most chemical to am all organic natural ingredients, from cheapo to the most expensive one I have, baking powders to perfume, I've tried them all.

Yes, I have a unique armpits and I'm proud of it. I hate body odors, it put me in the walk of shame, but most of the people surrounds me doesn't even know I have one. Some who happens to know are mistakes made by bad deodorants. Now I always made sure I've got them protected by effective ones. So when I'm about to make this review I made sure KCR's that I met really assured me the efficacy of the product since I will be brutally honest.

I kept asking again, again and again will it be effective and they say, yes (they = more than 1 person). I went home feeling so doubtful but I give it a go. The next day is Sunday, it was my busiest day, from church in the morning to my in law's place to Jakarta's Fair (PRJ) where it is super hot and humid, jam packed by gazillions of humans to night shopping in a huge supermarket (all in a day without any change to go home for a quick shower or even a change of clothing) and I proudly say, this product works!

Yes, I use Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant in the morning, just a small amount in the size of a pea/corn and spread it well in my underarms (after shower and on dry skin), wait a bit until it was dry (using a small fan) and that's it. My armpits stay odor-free for more than 12 hours. The armpits area also remain soft and smooth. This white cream is indeed effective.

Some Kiehl's

Kiehl's (since 1851), comes with a 'new' range. Rare Earth Pore Minimizing Lotion is the first I've tried (in the range) and I must say, I kinda disappoint in the product. First I got their tester like months ago, from Deep Pore Cleanser, Pore Minimizing Lotion and Deep Pore Cleansing Masque. I haven't tried the cleanser and the masque yet but the lotion it too creamy for me. I've used Kiehl's product before and may I say they are really fine when I used them during traveling, especially if it is during winter or dry-er area.

When I applied it on my skin it feels sticky, and I really hate the smell, it was awful for me, like taking a medicine through my skin. It does say on the label that this product is rich in mineral, well perhaps it's too rich for me. I don't know how it will be if I used the product daily, I mean how long 'till I can see the result but so far since I dislike the scent I'm going to give it a pass to my husband.

The texture itself is not creamy, but like what it's say it is a lotion, a white lotion, and during application can easily applied, but not easily penetrate. I think I like it better to use it at night since well I'm not using make up. For me using this product and make up afterward is a bad combination (again: for me).

But I will still try their masque and cleanser and will give a review later on, perhaps later today :)

9 months have passed and my husband still a loyal user of this product, the lotion absorb well on him and he shows me how to use it (duh! What's the matter with me?!) Instead of doing the lotion all at once better to put them little by little in 5 different spots (forehead, nose, cheeks, chin) and spread them easily. I still dislike the scent but it help the absorption by far. Will I use it now? Heehee, still no, sorry I'm a scent oriented person, but if you don't mind the scent go ahead! My husband also keep using it. 





Another product of Kiehl's is Superbly Restorative Argan Skin Salve, this one is a hit for me. I love the citrus scent and it's thick alright. Kinda like a bee-honey-comb-wax from color to texture. I've also tried their lotion form you can read it here. This balsam is suitable for skin and hair, edge of the hair. I use it by taking a bit to my palm or finger tips, activate my warmth power, and let the oil melts and put them on where needed. No more dry knees, elbows, split ends and for me I love the fact that the products use natural ingredients that I let my kid get her hands on it. For me this 40 g last for a very long time (like 4 months for daily use), since each use I only use a little and the oils goes along the way.

It can also be used as minor skin problems to help soothe and relaxed too, it can also be used to soften cuticles.

Must have! During traveling, in your purse, or anywhere you go, perfect as a beauty 101.
