Now, they are keep adding new treatments, products, and opening new branches here and there. It is a real life prove that Zap is doing pretty well on the market.

Upon arrival after registration, I immediately sign up for the Skin Rejuvenation treatment. A quick 15 minute beauty treatment that help boost collagen, even out skin tone, and reducing dark spots.

Before heading to the treatment room, I was having a quick tour to see a bit of everything. Aside from the front desk, there's another waiting room inside. Right in front of consultation room.

Comfy couch, TV, and calming relaxing ambiance.

Soon after, I was escorted to the treatment room in scenic green.

Arrays of medical properties, cleanser, lotions, cottons are set well on the rack. Between each customer are divided using a curtain, perhaps this room suitable for couple as well, just open the curtain and it become one bigger room.

The light is suffice in this room, so the doctors or therapist can perform under a well-lid room.

The face is cleaned, then a cool gel is applied before the doctor enters the room and using the same device for removing the hair.

It was fast, far from pain and suitable for anyone who need an instant rejuvenation so the skin appear fresher.

Since I was alone and it was quite a busy day, no extra staff available to help me took images, plus my eyes are closed during the treatment hence I can't share with you the images during the treatment, sorry.

But I can share the feeling during the treatment, it was super fast and felt like nothing. Forget about painful facials and unnecessary treatments when you can do a skin rejuvenation under 15 minutes. You can simply do it during lunch hour.

At the back side of the long corridor there's a beautiful changing room, complete with hair brush, cottons, and simple toiletries for anyone. Including lockers and shower room too. For those who are doing a hair removal all over their body perhaps can enjoy a cool shower after the treatment if they feel like it.

It was very convenient.

Soon after that I went on to the event, it was held on the restaurant 2 floors above Zap. So Zap is located at the basement or LG of Hotel Oria.

Zap has a motto, "Discover Your Confidence", but I think beside from that Zap also in sync with their program where everyone can have beauty treatments in the quickest time without wasting their time and money. A lot of their treatments are affordable.

I do have several opinions though, since I've tried some of their treatments, I do think that the Photo Facials and Skin Rejuvenation worth trying.

While the hair removal is kinda personal, in terms of depends on your hormonal growth and pain tolerance. I'm not a fan of their hair removal treatment since it was kinda painful for me. Each blink is like a sharp ant bites that hurts. I prefer other place since I've tried almost every hair removal offered in the market. But again, it's personal, and I think I have zero tolerance against pain.

Zap believes in investing in your skin. Kinda like my philosophy too, like the best thing I can always flaunt is my skin condition. I love when people kept asking how old I really is, I'm really 35 and my skin looks 27. I do take care my skin on daily basis, using the right product and method too, at least I hope I do.

After a brief welcoming speech from the owner of Zap, a bit of testimonial from Harumi and Q&A's session with the doctor, we are went home with products to try.

Aside from their beauty treatments, Zap also offer some skincare. I was given skincare for acne prone skin. Anyone who knows me must have known that I do not have acne prone skin, never have, never will. I do insist on giving me other set, but the therapist said that the doctor recommend me the acne set.

I have a very dry skin and sensitive too, but I do not have acne. I do have once in a while, like one acne when I'm having my period, but that's it. The dryness are actually visible and a problem that need more attention than a single acne to be prescribed with the whole products for acne which of course are drying and made my skin condition even worse.

The cleanser are perfect for those with oily skin, it was drying and the skin feels tight afterwards. I'm not recommending the cleanser for anyone with dry skin like mine, I think it's too strong.

Do I let the products goes to waste? Never!
My husband has an oily skin and acne prone too, he's been using the products and guess what?! He enjoys using them! He says it was perfect, it doesn't make his skin dry nor oily, it made his skin in the 'right zone' .

All the creams, the morning and nights all feel comfortable on him. He said he has no complains whatsoever. I guess the products are truly made for acne skin prone and those who are oily too.

The creams are all look similar to me, the texture is a tad different one to another but has the similar consistency. The feeling is comfortable (according to my husband) and doesn't leave his skin greasy nor oily.

It is scentless and I can see that there's expired dates on each container.

These are similar to other 'obat dokter' in terms of packaging and products but the formula perhaps are made specially by Zap using their secret formula.

Aside from the underarm brightening cream which is creamy and only suitable for me to use it during night time (since during day time it made the deodorant becomes icky and just weird), it was mild and comfortable. But when used daily it feels a bit like whitening products that slowly exfoliating the skin and can lead to sensitivity. So I tend to use it around 2 times a week instead of on daily basis.

And this Lip Blush, another 'cute' product from Zap that made the lips appear softer and has that pink hue.

I've seen this kind of products on the market where it was made not just for lips. Perhaps it is similar.

The thing is, I like to see Zap keep adding new items to their collection and I hope they also keep adding treatments that are fast, effective, and affordable too. Aside from that, opening more branches so they become more approachable in so many areas.

Last but not least, do add a line for dry and sensitive skin like mine, so I can also try using your home care products.

De-Hair Laser Hair Removal

Last Friday, I went to De-Hair, a place that offer laser hair removal. Located at Gandaria City Mall and the one I'm visiting is at MOI.

I knew De-Hair from Zalonku.com. They are this cool website that shows salons and treatment places including nails, hair trends, and yes, hair removal too. De-Hair is their most recommended place at Zalonku.com to do a hair removal procedure for being the most effective and painless of them all.

Look at the pair of red heels and you'll find De-Hair tuck in near the entrance of Lobby 4 Mall Of Indonesia.

The door to De-Hair is filled with stickers, it's the information regarding the treatments you can get at De-Hair. Laser Hair Removal for male and female.

A procedure that is not the same with IPL, safer, painless and effective.

Inside De-Hair are treatment rooms with purple painted walls. Everything looks tidy and welcoming. Suitable for ladies, even thou De-Hair also open for male.

The bed is comfy and clean, everything is prepared well here.

And of course, the highlight of the day is the treatment itself. The Laser Hair Removal.

I'm having my lower leg done today.

The area is cleaned using a wet wipes by the therapist and then shaved. I feel a bit itch here and there from the shaving, perhaps the therapist put too much pressure with the shaver.

Above is my 'hairs' condition at my lower leg, it's not 'abundant' but visible enough.

After the shaving is done, she apply a cold gel (the same lubricant used for USG) and then the machine start clicking and like blinking lighting banishing the hair.

Is it painful? No, but there's definitely 'energy' felt on areas where it is darker and the hair is thicker. So if you happen to have dark skin and thick hairs, you'll definitely feel something. It's not exactly pain, but ... energy. The therapist can lowered the level so you'll feel more comfortable.

The therapist hand is moving fast up and down, so it is unlike any other hair removal process I've tried where the lights and clicks are moved slowly and per area. De-Hair Laser Hair Removal moved up and down in a very fast motion and so does the clicks and blinking lights. There's no sharp pain like in IPL, so I understand the painless method they are mentioning.

And then the therapist clean the gel from my skin, somehow this part is painful, I guess the therapist put too much force when cleaning them with the paper towel, some are become very red and irritated, like she is trying to exfoliate the skin out of me. So my suggestion is, when the therapist do that, stop her immediately and tell her to be gently, since the skin is already sensitive enough from the process.

And like all hair removal procedure, hot-warm bath is not recommended for 48 hours, avoid excessive sun lights and exercise for a while, including lotions and even soaps.

Overall,

does Laser Hair Removal at De-Hair really not painful? Yes it does. The experience is comfortable, only when the therapist put too much force when cleaning the gels with the paper towel.

Will I get back again? Yes, definitely, I want to see results and this time will tell the therapist to be gentle and kind >.<

Like all hair removal process, it takes time and several treatments, how many? Depends on the hormone and hair condition for sure.

Musee Platinum Second Treatment

I'm back with my second hair removal procedure at Musee Platinum at Central Park Mall. The hair now has grown from 2 months of didn't touch nor do anything on them. I'm also happy to say that they have grow less than before. Still, I need more treatments since I want them to become super fine and much much less visible.

Noticed my fingers with the 'two' as in second treatment.

As usual, before the process begin, the staff made sure I'm not pregnant nor nursing, take medication, just had a wax, have sensitivity nor allergy and use deodorant.

So when you're about to do the hair removal process here at Musee Platinum, make sure you pay attention on those terms as well.

For me, Musee Platinum offer not just a comfortable procedure but friendly environment with high professionalism as in all of the staffs take matters into their hands, always speaks in indoor tone and gentle whisper, never act unprofessional like chatting a non-work related matter for the customer to hear, clean, disclosed and private.

Okay, I'm ready for underarm and bikini line to be hair-less. Of course, it need more than two treatments for the hair to be removed completely (or as I want it to be as not visible as possible), but I do believe we're getting there.

They start with cleaning, marking, putting stickers on spots such as pores that are opened due to previous waxing, put on very cold gel and begin. Oh, it felt a bit in the second one, apparently the first one is just a trial and no pain at all, from the second one and so on the strength level will be normal, I can say it is 1/10 now, but still very comfortable and they wont be stronger than this. I'm pleased.

Both underarm and bikini like take less than 30 minutes including cleaning the gel post procedure and the cold pack afterwards.

And remember, after each treatment, avoid hot-warm water, sun bathing, excessive sweat and exercise, using harsh chemical on the areas affected as well, swimming and for swimming it is around a week and the rest around 24-48 hours only.

Ehm, for the private part, it is best not to have sex within 24-48 hours as well, based on personal experience and those surround me ^^

In the changing room, they also put some cute diagrams on how the hair removal cycle works and it pretty much sums up all of customer's Q&A in a colorful way.

So, according to their 'experience and research' we should be hair free by the 18th treatment and 18X2 months is 36 months, that's 3 years, fiuhh, I better be patience.

I know it depends on the hormon and personal hair growth, so the '18' number may be differ from people to people, looking at my stubborn hairs, I think mine would be plus minus in the 18th heehee. I'm not making any complain here since the treatment is comfortable and quick, plus it's in the big mall where I could always have an excuse to shop >.~

Maybe, perhaps, you're like me, you're not really bothered by the price but the effectiveness and the number one question, how painful it is.

Well, let's get naked ready for the process shall we?!

I changed into a towel with disposable panties included, the underarm and bikini line will take approximately around 30 minutes (wow, that's faster than waxing time!). I did my share on plucking, waxing, IPL, shaving, you name it, I've tried them all.

I've been through tag line such as less pain, painless hair removal, bearable pain, quick and minimal pain, to 'virtually painless' ,  they all have the word pain and pain they are.

Yes, some does only last a few minutes or some does last for a full hour (in bad clinic waxing also can cause traumatic skin and other skin problems). Shaving may look harmless but on bad days, I do have the skin accidentally wounded by the sharp blade. All of that wax, shave and 'duh!' plucking are temporally. Mine should get back in less than a month. And the irritation, oh, what have I done to deserve it, all I want is to look pretty, well, Musee Platinum Tokyo help me (and women like me) to get a completely painless process for a hair free body.

How is it?
First they marked the area and cleaned it, a very cold gel applied and then the lights starts beeping, my heart beats so fast since it is similar to IPL, IPL is not not painful, there's sharp electric kind of pain every single beep. This one doesn't. I waited, waited and waited, but until everything is finished and they put cold pack for 2 minutes and then, it's done, a moisturizer is applied afterward and that's it! So fast, so enjoyable and really doesn't involve anything near pain.

The only thing that I do recommend, is for everyone to use socks during bikini line flash hair removal service since for me, somehow, I feel less naked when using socks and those cold gels are really cold ^^

No worries thou, they do provide a seemingly clean towel and blanket during treatment, but still, the feet feels cold, oh maybe I'm nervous too, when there's nothing to be worried about.

After the service, I went back into the powder room and there's a hair dryer and brush waiting for me.

I get out after getting dressed and greeted back by the staffs.

The staffs that are helping me with the service are all nice and in Japanese standard, very polite and do pay attention on things that ladies may feel uncomfortable about. There's also a Japanese staff, she is so nice and she is doing everything in perfection.

Conclusion.

A wonderful way to shed those unwanted hairs from our body. I will share more reviews soon since I will kept coming back until all the hairs at my underarm and bikini line are no more, or perhaps far less obvious. Bye bye shaving, wax, plucking and Ouch P L (IPL).
