Catrice Dewy-ful Lips Conditioning Lip Butter

this is a beauty product from Catrice that made specially for the lips to appear fuller, more volume and colors for sure. It's Catrice Dewy-ful Lips Conditioning Lip Butter.

A product that comes in a tube like container but it has an applicator wand that is like any other tube container. The shade comes in 6 variant but I'm going to review just one, which is the one I'm using, Dr. Dewlittle.

Dewy Lips - in keeping with the trendy Dewy Trend - should shine and shimmer as if they were moistened by the fine dew of the morning hours. Look how vibrant the color is, there's a vanilla like scent as well as pigment colors with feeling that is a bit slippery, not exactly greasy, but more like jelly. I can't say that it is not 100% free from stickiness, but can't really say it is sticky as well. So it is pretty much still in the comfortable area. The product may not be waterproof nor transfer-proof, but it does stays as long as I didn't wipe it off.

The lips will appear dewy, fuller and like blooming with intense red coral shade that I like. I can use it as a top or use the product itself as a solid color. Since nowadays using two tone, gradation and stained lips look are a thing, we can get that by using Dewy-ful Lips as well.

Lakmé Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color

especially you who have dry lips and yet still not interested in glossy lips due to the balmy texture or uncomfortable feeling when using them. Lipstick itself is a unique thing where we desire color yet want something that feels good on the lips with the exact right finish as well. Oh well, we all want perfection isn't it?! The feeling, texture, convenience, to long lasting power and finish. Is there any product that gives us all? 

I happen to try the new Lakme Absolute Argan Oil Lip Color in 09. Soaked Berries, 13. Juicy Plum, and 14. Lush Rose.

I don't have Indian skin tone, but I believe these babies looks good on me too.

Above are the swatches of the products I have. Number 9 and 13 is slightly similar with a hint of tone, one is darker than the other.

Below are me using each of the products respectively.

Started with Juicy Plum (13), when I use it for the first time, I was amazed by the texture, it is unbelievably smooth and delicate. Silky and beautiful, I love it, it is probably one of the best lipstick's texture I've tried before and I do recommend the product for anyone with dry lips.

And it's all there, the color, comfort and finish, not greasy nor oily, not waxy nor balmy feeling, it's just smooth sailing. The lipstick is not exactly glossy too, more like demi gloss, so for me, it's perfect.

Number 13 probably my favorite tone but the rest are also beautiful, below is something brighter, number 14. Lush Rose.

None of the images here where I use lip pencil nor lip liner of any kind, it's pure Argan Oil Lip Color, and no brush as well. So it's directly from the lipstick to my lips and they look great isn't it?! The shape itself made it easy for me to apply.

Last but not least, number 09. Soaked Berries, one of the shade which I think pretty mysterious compared to the rest, the Juicy Plum have a hint of redness and Lush Rose is cheerful and bright. Soaked Berries is slightly to the brown and looks delicious, I like this one too. And regarding the scent, they all smell the same, somehow like a strawberry dipped in vanilla chocolate.

Overall,

a highly recommended lipstick with amazing texture that is ultra smooth, reminds me a lot of a high end lippies that cost 5-6 times than this one. Love it!! The color is there, the formula is sublime, the finishing is really good and the long wear formula is something you'll enjoy. They may not be waterproof but able to resist water to some level. Each are available for Rp. 150.000.

Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick

During the event, I manage to try two of their shade in Proven Innocent Ultra Matte (above) and Rebel Glam Ultra Matte (below). Let's just say even when randomnly picking the shades, my hands are still on the mattes haha!

I wish I can get my hands on Up Beet or Moon Rock.

A quick makeup demo is presented showing how easy it is and there's no limit in creating the shades, mixed and matched, from layering lipstick, ombre, to simply having fun with not just different shade but finish too.

Some has a more buttery texture while some like Ultra Matte are more to the dry cream. Don't get me wrong, they are still comfortable on the lips and no dry spell.

Above are the matte and below are the shimmer pearls I manage to do swatches, as the event is crowded everyone is getting their hands on the lippies, it is exciting.

The variety of colors are mainly on pinks and nude, but no worries, there are options for the bold and vivid dark colors. 30 colors for your pleasure.

The container itself is gorgeous and really show the dynamic side of the brand for future generation. It was clear with light gold metal like inside. Each have a colored bottom just like the lipstick inside.

The tip of each lipstick is unlike other lipstick that was mostly rounded, they have two edges and looks sharp. Like the young minds.

Let's start with 410 Love Object. This is one of the lipstick from Ultra Matte, yet somehow on me there's some light reflection hard to be missed. But it's still totally matte. The scent is like any other one of the collection, warm vanilla butter that not overwhelmingly sweet but just enough.

I love this color, it's dark and sweet at the same time.

Next one is 260 Sky High, a Shimmer Pearl that glossy and shimmery. One of the pale pink tone which is definitely irresistible. Like the pink frost.

One of my favorite nude which looks totally mine is 110 Raw Sugar. It was so spot on. And it's an Ultra Matte too, oh can it get any better?!

Feel bored and want to be a hallyu star? Try this bright orange with 340 Hot Rumor, one of Edgy Creme. I don't think I need to explain more as just look at the image above and it brighten up the mood as well, as fresh as an orange.

Estee Lauder wont failed you in terms of finding the Ultra Matte red tone in 310 Bar Red. It is as good as it gets. The redness is perfect for just about anyone and without a hint of darkness.

Moving forward, a tone I can see myself using everyday, 250 Radical Chic from Edgy Creme. It's a hint of pink and red combined. A soft pink and soft red in one to be exact.

And another bright red tone is here number 220 Shock & Awe also an Ultra Matte with a hint of Fuchsia.

Last but not least is 460 Ripped Raisin from the Shimmer Pearl Collection and you can clearly see the pearls shimmering, like really want to show everyone how they can dazzle and dance in the sky.

Overall,

a great collection of lipstick with undeniable pigment and comes with several finish as an added bonus option. The two shades I have which is Bar Red and Shock & Awe perhaps the closest and sometime not really easy to tell them apart when used. So I think in the whole collection a few are similar as in only a tad of diversity through the tones. But we can still be happy as from the 30 shades that bases on pink, red, nudes, and purple, there are still orange, blue, to even grayish blue and deep chocolate too. I want the Cooled Chrome please (one of the variant apart from Ultra Matte, Shimmer Pearls and Edgy Cream).

The product is not transfer proof, water proof nor kiss proof but the color stays as long as it remain untouched. Cleaning them is easy using a lip makeup remover and without any traces.

So I think their highlight is on the bright and bold colors like red, pink, plum, cherry, and I'm getting a Beige Lingerie which is close to nude. I'm almost disappointed, until, I tried the product.

This is what all lipstick should felt like, so silky and comforting, hydrating, watery and sensual without any balmy, greasy nor discomforts from the feeling like after consuming something very oily. I'm a fan of lipstick, especially high ends brands, not because they are prestigious, but they give results that I want. An infused skincare cosmetics. I hate waxy feeling, tacky balm, or weird scents that are all overwhelming and making me realize that I actually have something on my lips. Some could be unbearable, like the ones that dried the lips and create misery, or the ones that promise moisturizing effect but made the problem worst by being so thick and difficult, it add up the dead skin cells, creating a mountains like uneven surface.

Getting Glam with Wet n Wild

a few weeks ago some goodies arrived at my home from Blogger Ceria which consist of products by Wet n Wild.

As seen it was a complete set from base, eye primer, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and lipsticks. 11 bold and glossy shades that's hard not to be noticed.


Wet n Wild itself is famous for being budget friendly with a tag that still so pigmented. Their highlights are the colors, from the eyeshadows to lippies.

I'm using the whole thing from the package, the coverage is rather soft and I still need concealer or other foundation, and the blush comes in a the most modest tone possible, hence using it as a contouring seems to be the best option.

After that, I did my eyebrows. The product for the eyebrows is wonderful, it is a creamy pencil that glide on so smooth and felt so rich. It has the perfect texture and consistency to be an eyebrow pencil and easy to be blend too. The gradation made is spot on.

The colors of the eyeshadows pops out, perhaps due to the primer too that work effortlessly.

And there's the mascara, it is a bit sticky and I'm not really a fan of the formula, I want my mascara to be dry off instantly with flexibility and latex like texture.

After watching the video, you'll get the idea that the focus is on the lippies. There are many shades available and just by changing the tone, the look could be different, it shows how lipstick plays an important part in our makeup.

It was very easy to be used, creamy, moist and glide on the lips without fail. It has a bit of stain left everything it was wiped off and the more pigment there is, the stain left are the most.

The lipstick has a glossy finish and some even comes as metallic.

My favorite color is (of course) dark wine, it was so satisfying in so many ways.

Kanebo Media Moisturizing Lipstick

I've been looking for autumn colors since well, autumn is when the colors are the best, it has the depth of wine and dark colors berries, and I just love those colors. Or I could go either nude, it's like the best season ever.

I'm kinda bored with spring and summer colors now, and I'm in the mood for autumn. Winter itself usually about frost and metallic shades.

Oh well, here are the colors I picked from Kanebo Media (Japan). Pk-22, WN-08, RS-24, RS-18. They have 22 shades in total, surely anyone could easily pick one they prefer. Or in my case, 4.

All the details are in Japanese, since after all they are all bought in Japan. Each of them cost 950 Yen, and just in case someone asking, I don't know where to get these babies outside from Japan.

Kanebo itself is a big brand in Japan, they have many brands below them or made by them, Media is one of the 'sub brand' from Kanebo. Hence we can rest assure of the quality  of the product.

The product comes in deep blue color and pale gold lining. Opening and closing the product is very smooth and the details of the product is provided on the plastic box while the shades are seen on the bottom part of the lipstick.

Aside from lippies by Media, I also bought one from Rimmel (far right), hence there's 5 swatches instead of 4.

And yes, they are all autumn shades. I wish I can get some more (being greedy).

Let's just start with the review shall we?! All of the lipstick are moisturizing for sure, comfortable to be used and since it contains Marine Collagen, Olive Oi,  and Jojoba Oil.

The first one I use is RS - 18

The shade is like a faint rose, rather pinkish and subtly coral. Still in the nude zone for my lips.

Do pay attention, as one original lip color may affect the result of the lips your using, same goes with skintone. Hence, always try the lipstick prior from buying.

It was subtle, comfortable and suitable for daily use as the color is mild. It gives me a fresh looking makeup do.

The next one is PK-22.

This is probably the nudest one of them all out of all four.

This is perfect when I want to have a heavy eye makeup do. So the attention will all goes to the eyes. And the nude lippies also somehow made the look appear serious and classy. Suitable for an event too.

And for those who knows me well, must have already guess, WN-08 is my favorite.

The wine shade like a dark berries is just irresistible and speaks autumn at it's finest. Like this is the best shade to be used during the season. Imagine red colored leaves, walking around with outfit that matches, the lips looks so ravishingly good. I know that Indonesia doesn't have four seasons, but we can never beat the feeling of in the season.

Just imagining the whole scenery and simply enjoy the seasons shade. I love using WN-08. I did wish the brand invent a prettier name instead of coding and numbers.

The next one is RS-24.

back to the rose, but this one is a bit like dusty and a hint of brown. I love it too. It is more to serious like going to an important meeting or so.

It has a bit of metallic effect on me, perhaps I can still use the shade for winter.

Overall,

all of them are wonderful, very smooth texture, glossy, highly moisturizing but not greasy nor oily. Some shades are more pigmented than the others, like WN-08 is the most pigmented, followed by PK-22, RS-18 and RS-24. Easy to be used, forgiving in terms of when making mistake, hence they don't stained nor have waterproof ability, but their shades does last pretty good as long as no swiping is done. Doesn't bleed on me and have a soft subtle scent that somehow fresh and a bit to the floral.
