who loves to clean their hair as often as possible? I do, I really do! I can't stand sweat or anything on my hair, I want them to feel clean, smells clean, and as light and airy as possible. I have a very active scalp, hence it felt oily sooner than others, most shampoo in the market is harsh and not recommended for daily use, but Rene Furterer have one that I can happily use as often as possible.

The product is simple, kind, and really gentle, the whole family even my kids are using it. I can wash my hair daily, sometime even twice a day when I'm really active, like sweats like nuts... wait, nuts doesn't sweat, hmm, like a mom who do chores all by herself, or perhaps a non stop run in marathon, in this perfect Jakarta weather where the sun shines so brightly and we are lucky if the temperature somewhere below 30 degree Celcius. Yes, we are in a hot weather daily, hence making small movements made me feel so hot. This is the thing that saves my hair and my mood to be honest.

The kids can happily use it as it doesn't made them sick, no harmful chemicals nor stuff that harsh. This simple, pure and gentle shampoo works in cleaning as well preserving the scalp and hair as it is. Doesn't stripe them dry and made their condition covered in silicone nor anything that doesn't belong nor beneficial for the scalp and hair.

The hair will smells greenly good and for me, I still use some conditioner or mask. For the kids, they just use this shampoo without conditioner nor mask.

The media and bloggers seems to be interested in the product when one by one sprayed with the dry oil. The aroma is pleasing and many looks like they really like it. I personally try the dry oil on my hair during the event and since it is a dry oil, the texture is light and very much comfortable.

I sprayed some on my skin too, it helps my dry skin to soothe and the immediate moist effect where the skin glows. After absorbed the skin doesn't feel oily at all, more like comfortable and pleasant.

Since I received the product (Dry Oi), I've been using it diligently and even let my girls using it too. The product comes in this glass bottle and the shade of a gold. It's easy to spray and the spritz produce is quite fine and delicate. Once I even mistook it with a perfume since they smell good. Warm and a bit sweet, like the smells of those (ingredients) oils that so precious.

I use them on my hair and body skin, the immediate effects are the glow, and then it become this sultry smoothness. The hair remains light and weightless while the skin soft and powdery. So the traces of oils are invisible.

On the hair, I made sure to only spray it on the hair avoiding the scalp.

I'm using it on the hair after showering, before drying, to before using hot tools. It helps protect, seals, and add shine to the hair. The more damaged the hair is, use it more often.

Rene Furterer Curbicia

as my previous review for Rene Furterer (read HERE) this is a separate post made specially for Curbicia, a product which I love since 15 years ago when I started using Rene Furterer, especially Curbicia.

My scalp has been oily and I know and has been told as well by the team from Rene Furterer, if I want to keep my hair lusciously thick, I have to maintain the cleanliness of the scalp. Oily is fine, but when leave it that way it can lead to blockage which prevent the hair growing from the scalp.

Gently wash your hair while purifying an oily scalp

CURBICIA regulating shampoo eliminates excess sebum from the scalp and allows for less frequent shampoos. Hair is light and enveloped in a fresh aroma.

Used directly on the scalp when it is dry and dirty (best after Complexe 5) and leave it on for a while (like 10 minutes).

The greenish clay is light and fragrant, but even when they look so cute, gooey and innocent, they are still powerful enough to absorb those excess oils on my scalp.

After around 10 minutes, add a bit of water and shampoo too only for the hair and areas that doesn't get Curbicia. For me, I always put Curbicia only on oily zone and avoid the rest for a precise treatment.

Other shampoo can help other areas as needed, like colored hair need shampoo to maintain the color, and etc.

Since the tip is small enough for the clay to be applied on the exact spots (or line) on the scalp. The feeling is very much comfortable and I really like the scent too, it is refreshing orange, clove, rosemary, thyme, the combination is just perfect.

It helps the scalp to purify, refreshed and clean, like detoxing the scalp from those sticky oils.

The result is a clean and happy scalp that can breathe easily. Products used afterwards such as tonic or hair serum can be absorbed better.

After being dried, the hair feels so much comfortable, the scalp especially. I can repeat this treatment 2 times a week to help maintain and prevent the scalp to be covered in oil and let them stay fresh longer too.

This is what Forticea looks like in close up. So cute with those green dots and clear gel. It cleans the scalp and hair beautifully. Lathers easily but doesn't made the hair dry and coarse. It is clean and refreshing without any discomfort.

Use twice a week for the 1st month and then once a week for the 2nd and 3rd month. Step 1: Turn the cap all the way to the right to release the powder. Shake vial to mix the ingredients. Step 2: Apply with the applicator tip to a clean scalp. Massage into the scalp concentrating at the crown. Do not rinse. Proceed to styling.

When the cap is twisted downward, the cap inside will release powder and just shake the closed bottle to mixed everything inside. And then like opening a bottle of syrup medicine or children's vitamin, press it a bit before twist it open on the clock wise direction to open the 'ready-to-be-used' formula on a clean and stimulated scalp.

An elixir for beautiful hair

Use it as a pre-shampoo treatment. What is a pre shampoo treatment and how to use it?

As far as I know, pre shampoo itself comes in many variation and has been used in many countries and generations. Some for the hair (like coconut oils, shea butter, argan oils) and only a few made for the scalp since Rene Furterer believes that a beautiful hair start from the scalp. Nevertheless, when using Complexe 5 on the scalp, you can also use other products for the hair, like masks, olive oils and so on, but made sure they don't touch the scalp.

how are you? I hope this post finds you well. Lately it's been a very busy week for me, a lot of events going on and the traffic in Jakarta pretty much unpredictable.
