as part of my personal hygiene and cleanliness, deodorant still play an important part from my daily routine. My family said it was a hereditary, I was born with my dad's armpit :D

All the boys are blessed with my mom's hence they do not need any deodorant nor ever understand why the girls daily urgency regarding deodorant. With all the drama and problems with many ingredients of the deodorant that may or may not causing problems such as breast cancer and so on, I tend to look for organic products or something close to it that are known to be safe or perhaps safer.

The bottle is like most deodorant roll on and the details in it is clearly written. I bought mine in an organic shop in Singapore, I think it's at Paragon and the price is around 10-20 SGD, honestly I tend to forget most product's price heehee.

Now, the most important thing, does it work? Well, to get there, there's something you should know, I have purchase many organic deodorant before, from many different brands, formula, texture (cream, solid, roll on, etc), to prices. I assure you, most of these organics thingy is not cheap, they usually comes in 20 $ or so. Some even cost 30$ and the 'suckiest' part is that, most of them doesn't work.

This is the truth, they are so organic, so gentle, so far away from harmful that they can not even kill bacteria on the area, it's alive and well, they perhaps felt a bit ticklish and that's it. Some only works for 1-2 hours, while most already made me smell bad almost immediately.

Don't get me wrong, the actual product smells so good, like fresh orange from real orange, to lavender (most of them are lavender for it's antibacterial properties), rosemary (like this one), camomile, tea tree, and so on, it's only to prove that I've tried many of them. So they actually smells good, but they just doesn't work. Somehow, I intrigue to get this one, since I'm no quitter, I still want to have one deodorant that doesn't concern me. Like I can use it without being worry about cancer, irritation, sensitivity, and so on.

So again, does it work? It work better than most of those deodorant but doesn't last all day, like half a day max. So it is better, but I still need something stronger, especially during menstruation where only God knows how smelly those hormone made me during those days.

Again, this is just a maybe, if you're not as smelly as I am, this one probably works on you, after all, this is a deodorant that I'll definitely recommend to my daughter, since it doesn't contain known harmful ingredients, so it's mostly organics, like 89%

Like said, most organic stuff smells good, this one too, it's smell like a fresh flower in the spring. I love how green it is and it ease my mind as I don't apply something horrendously dangerous on my sensitive skin. Armpit skin is so thin and sweats a lot, it helps us detoxing by sweating, so products that inhibit sweats actually not good, again, if we really have to choose between being stinky or hurt ourselves, there's another option, use organic products that works.

Overall,

a relatively good product you should try. It made the armpit sweat less (but still sweats) with far less smelly than it is. On me it last half a day, but I'm a hard core stinks, so on most people, it'll last longer.

Yves Rocher Lotus Flower from Laos 24H* Anti-perspirant

here is a deodorant from Yves Rocher. And surprisingly, the first product I'm trying from this brand.

Yves Rocher itself has been around for almost a decade in Indonesia or perhaps more, but only recently I feel the urge to visit their store. Like I want something new and now looking at their store, surprisingly, I find a lot of things that I like.

I like the fact that they don't have parabens.

I'm always looking for deodorant. Many of that particular thing doesn't really work on me, I've tried almost every brands and types in the market and only a few helps. After talking to the beauty adviser, she convinced me that this one really helps 'drying' the area, hence no sweat whatsoever. No sweats means, no smell.

I'm active almost all the time, sometime I even sweat during sleep in an aircon room, I don't know, I just do. And don't get me started when I sweat during menstruation, oh, I do warn you, it's just too smelly. Deodorant is needed to made them tame.

Perfume deodorant usually helps. Not perfumed deodorant, but perfume deodorant, where it usually comes in a spray formula and made by a perfume company. But that one usually pretty pricey, if a deodorant cost around 7$, a perfume deodorant cost around 30$.

Does it works?! Most of the time, yes!

The product works better, after a shower and I don't get sweaty before the deodorant sets, so apparently, using it during an evening shower is better. When I'm relaxed and calmed, the sweat glands also feel in-alarmed. The deodorant can sets and works it's magic. It helps me stays odor free for at least half of day. I meant come one, Jakarta is like a massive sauna, it is not possible to stay sweat free 24 hours, even moving a finger without aircon can make people sweats and I'm not using aircon 24 hours.

When I'm out and about I do sweat and the deodorant do helps to contain everything. And I can say that this one do works! It works pretty well.

I can comfortably lift up my hands in public since the product keeps the armpit dry, most of the time at least, and even when I'm sweat, they don't create some funny (awful) scent. Like when use some products I find in the supermarket where after a while, when I sweat, the smell of the deodorant and my sweat and everything in between become so yucky. This one doesn't. It smells like a subtle floral and then fade into nothing. Nothing is always better than yucky scents at any given day.

Overall, a great product, if it can tame me, it is already considered a success.

Clinique antiperspirant deodorant roll-on

this is a deodorant from Clinique.

Yes, Clinique is famous for their skincare and their recently high pigmented lippies and blush on, but now I want to talk about their hidden best sellers which actually deodorant. 

Whattt??!!! Yes, one of Clinique's best seller is their deodorant. I was in the middle of looking at Clinique's best seller and a lot of them is actually sold outs (seriously, what happen with the stocks) and do you know that men's section also sold outs most of the time?!

Anyway, so I saw the deodorant and the staff told me that it was really good, I thought sure, she works there, still I bring one home.

The packaging is simple and like any roll on deodorant, comes in Clinique signature color and design, minimalist, like very minimalist, and that's it.

When I opened it, there's this cloudy roller ( again, like any other roll on deodorant) have no scent whatsoever but when applied and the liquid rolled over, I smelled something like plain yogurt and I'm not a big fan of the smell, but I'm looking forward for the effects, as no smell whatsoever.

So, after showering and making sure the area is cleaned and dry, I apply the deodorant, the liquid feels comfortable on the skin, the smell is a bit yucky, and it does dry pretty fast.

I put on my clothes and continue with my activities.

The armpit remains dry and there's no stinky armpit all day long. I didn't use it twice a day, more like once a day and it works for 24 hours. I haven't exercise or do something hard core using the deodorant so I guess for me it's a deodorant suitable for daily activity, however, I still think that it's a pretty good deodorant and so far beats a lot of deodorant out there.

Loves:

The ability to make my armpit smell like nothing. A lot of deodorant in the market that smells good and perfumey at first and then turn into this horrible scent.
Make the armpit dry without irritation. Again, a lot of deodorant out there do dries up but irritating the skin at the same time for being too dry.

Hates:
The yucky no-scent-smell of the liquid. I think they should add a bit or a hint of perfume.

Still, a great product, if it works on me, it probably works for you too, I do sweat a lot >.<

Best to be used on a cleaned skin, applied when needed and wait until dry before putting on clothes. The white and slightly creamy formula is made for sensitive skin, no alcohol nor aluminum salt, and the main focus of the product is to stop the bacteria causing odor without disturbing the physiological function of the sweat glands. The pH 5.5 is suitable for a healthy skin.

Now, is it effective for body odor? I must say, so far so good, they last until my next shower, which is around 10-11 hours. Like every usage of deodorant, it does depends on ones activity, hormones and physical reaction, but for me, I like how gentle yet effective the formula are. No excessive dryness, in fact, no dryness, no itchiness, no redness nor allergic reaction from using the product. Sometime when using other product that inhibit perspiration the armpit skin become irritated and itchy after usage or long term usage, but with Sebamed Balsam Deodorant for Sensitive, it's all good. The scent also mild and this powdery balsamic scent, which I think is unique and pleasant.

I would recommend this product for teenagers, I know there's a lot of brands out there on the market but some contain high irritants and may cause problems when used in a long term period. Try finding brand that have good reputation and caring for the skin like Sebamed.

I'm going to bring a subject that may feels sensitive for some people, I know for sure body odor is not a discussion we are willing to make in a crowd, it's something that we still reluctantly share while whispering.

Now, deodorant is a product that has been in the market for decades and comes in many variations, type and range. In the end, we have to choose a product that beneficial, one for eliminating or reducing the smell, and the other is for the safety, as some brand does contain dangerous ingredients that has been linked to skin problem to cancer (yikes!).

Reading the details makes me feel safe in using it, now, it's testing time, is it able to conquer a pregnant lady sweats and body odor? I feel hot most of the time due to the pregnancy and I do sweat more.

First the scent, it is a bit masculine, but still usable by an active women out there (like me). When used, the product feels comfortable and dries quite fast. In terms of usage of a deodorant roll-on it is always best to let the product dries up before putting on clothes, so drying time is important, if it's too long (more than 1-2 minutes) it would be a troublesome for a busy momma. So Sebamed Roll-on Active that dries up within a minute considered good, helpful and practical.

Next is the ability to eliminate odor, for me who needs a heavy duty deodorant, the roll on last maximum 5 hours in an active mode, meaning: going from event to event and sweats due to the walking and office activities. If you are someone like me, always prepare a baby wipes to clean up the armpit then let it dry before reapplying in the middle of the day and you'll be fresh again.

If you are a mild odory-person (which means in a level of smelliness you're on 5 or 6 out of 10 .....where I'm 10) this deodorant will be enough for the whole day without the need of touch up.

Why I love this product?
It doesn't 'clogged' the sweat glands, so perspiration is still normal and natural, hence, no sensitivity nor itchiness felt afterwards. This is good for a long term usage since the product wont irritate the skin.

Heehee, a sensitive subject is here, deodorant vs body odor. As someone who do have body odor, I become very conscious about my scent. I always have perfumes on my bag and occasionally check certain areas for being smelly or not. Yes, the underarm. The roots of some people social problems =^_^=

Some just getting a hang of it after going through puberty and boo ya! Went home as stink as a stink bug. It happens, it just happens. Hormones, bacteria, sweats, it all takes part. I'm just glaring at some people who doesn't have body odor in full glance of either envy or awe.

I have many deodorants at home, tried various brands, type, texture and prices too. Expensive products doesn't always works! I've bought a 30$ organic deo that hmm, too friendly, not just to the environment but for the bacteria on the area as well. It doesn't work.

Does this aerosol deodorant powder from Dove works? It does!

I use it daily for the past few weeks now, and it never fails. I dislike the powdery effect on the air (when sprayed) but love it on the underarm. Careful not to inhale it, watch out not to spray it near food, kids, babies, animals, etc. The wonderful soothing scent of Dove is there ^_^ it brings back the whole memory of Dove, I think I like it better than the roll on, since the aerosol deo powder is not sticky at all, no need to wait for it to dry as it dries instantly and smells better too, fragrant of the signature scent of Original Dove.

Does it have a whitening effect? It definitely doesn't have a darkening effect for sure since my underarm stays the same color as usual, not dark.

Does it really stays 24 hours? No. But it stays with me for 12 hours on normal activity. Vigorous sports and exercise with a lot of sweats will decrease the number hours of effectiveness.

Moisturizing effect? Hmm, can't tell the difference from other deo I've used heehee. But definitely doesn't make the area feels too dry.

Do I keep using it? Yes! For the scent, the immediate dry effect unlike roll on and the staying power (for me 12 hours is very very good).

I've been using Glad Pits for a couple of months now, on and off. Before getting to my review, let's see the details given on the packaging:

Dew or Dry?

If product gets into eyes rinse well with water immediately, and perhaps consider some training to improve your aim (--LOL)

 Now this is my review:

When I bought them it was a true adventure, I've been hunting this item since 2 years ago. I went to Sephora in ION and the staffs said it was sold out so I went to the one in Ngee Ann City only to be told they run out as well. New stocks will come soon. So I went again after a month or so, still not available and again and again and again.

It seriously build up my curiosity about the product. The staff also mention that the product is so good every time they stock up it would be finished so fast. Like seriously?

Finally after years of searching (a bit of exaggeration but it's true thou') I get mine in January 2012. I hold it like something so dear for me. And I've tried it.

The pink packaging is so cute, love every words they put there. So after a shower I shake the bottle and spray it directly to my armpits. Cough cough cough, wow, warning! The kinda like powdery talcy-thingy is just bursting too in the air, a bit sharp to the nose. Glad Pits has seriously drop some expectation here.

The scent is mild and there's a cooling sensation to the armpits but do not inhale any of it, trust me on this, hold your breath and leave the zone affected, then breath normally.

After that, the deo effect is actually quite good and you can spray it again after like 4 hours in sweat, like going to the gym sweat, but if you are working behind table, sitting comfortably in an air conditioner room, you can be happy since it would stay like 8-12 hours or so. I do take a shower after 8 hours, so I never tested the product more than 8 hours, but so far so good.

Btw, It does depends on your stink level too haha! Some do sweats a lot and maybe eat a lot of ingredients that 'helps' boosting up stink level, while other is blessed with naturally fragrant sweat (envy!!!!) .

Will I keep using the product? Yes, but only in a well ventilated area as in open all the windows and doors or spray them and immediately leave that room.

My say: I bough the product like Rp.112.000 during 30% disc after the seminar, it's the only thing I need at the moment, well not really I just want to keep trying their top 10 items ^o^ I am indeed very picky in terms of deodorant because it will lead to either embarrassment or lovely fresher time. 

About 8 out of 10 deodorant that I bought is a complete failure, I've tried many brands, formula, texture, ingredients (from the most chemical to am all organic natural ingredients, from cheapo to the most expensive one I have, baking powders to perfume, I've tried them all.

Yes, I have a unique armpits and I'm proud of it. I hate body odors, it put me in the walk of shame, but most of the people surrounds me doesn't even know I have one. Some who happens to know are mistakes made by bad deodorants. Now I always made sure I've got them protected by effective ones. So when I'm about to make this review I made sure KCR's that I met really assured me the efficacy of the product since I will be brutally honest.

I kept asking again, again and again will it be effective and they say, yes (they = more than 1 person). I went home feeling so doubtful but I give it a go. The next day is Sunday, it was my busiest day, from church in the morning to my in law's place to Jakarta's Fair (PRJ) where it is super hot and humid, jam packed by gazillions of humans to night shopping in a huge supermarket (all in a day without any change to go home for a quick shower or even a change of clothing) and I proudly say, this product works!

Yes, I use Superbly Efficient Anti-Perspirant and Deodorant in the morning, just a small amount in the size of a pea/corn and spread it well in my underarms (after shower and on dry skin), wait a bit until it was dry (using a small fan) and that's it. My armpits stay odor-free for more than 12 hours. The armpits area also remain soft and smooth. This white cream is indeed effective.
