Moeta Pop Devil Color Treatment Ampoule

Hello lovelies,

I found these babies by accident during a trip to Seoul. They are sold in one of subways underground stores and I didn't know that they are that good nor famous.

Apparently, they are pretty good, but I only bought two since I didn't aware, I got mine in soft pink and aquamarine.

-*-

The official shade name of the shade is Aqua Blue and Pink.

-*-

[MOETA] POP DEDEVIL COLOR TREATMENT - TOV12

They look super pretty right?! And as seen, it works best on bleached hair.

-*-

Almost all  the details in Korean, the basic how to is in English (glad isn't it?!) but the lady that sold me these babies share her tips, to leave them on longer than 15 minutes for a brighter and deeper hue.

-*-

Look carefully, it's 30 ml, I don't really pay attention as it clearly too little for the whole hair or even half, or even third... let's just say 30 ml is only for a handful and not a bit more.

-*-

The one I'm using for this post review is the pink one since my hair is already half white like a snow queen.

-*-

[MOETA] POP DEDEVIL COLOR TREATMENT - TOV12

I simply applied on my hair after being shampoo and toweled dry. So please do remember as it is too little for my whole hair, so it's only about a quarter of my whole hair. More like on the ends.

-*-

Here are the results on using the pink, looks really nice and many compliments me as having a cotton candy hair :D

The product is like a conditioner, milky pink, so the color is not bright pink like the result, it's more like baby pink. So does the Aqua Blue, the color of the cream is milky blue. The texture is like gel cream and not totally cream as in thick. They were light and like, well, conditioner.

The hair doesn't feel dry and taut, which is perhaps the benefits in using the product, all I wish is that I want some more please, I should've buy some more, like perhaps 5 tube for the whole head hair.

-*-

Conclusions:

In terms of texture and finish on the hair is wonderful as they don't made my hair dry, but in terms of too little inside their tube is really too less, I need like 100ml at least for a satisfying result, but for those who wants a rainbow colored hair with many different colors probably happy with the tiny tube.

L'Oreal Professionnel Pro Fiber Reconstruct

Hello lovelies,

especially you who happen to abuse the hair much, ehm, like me. I've bleached, curled, and have them bleached again in case the first one haven't ruined my hair. So when I see a few of them left me aka hair breakage, I'm not surprised, I'm more like, oh there you go.

So when I have the chance to try L'Oreal Professionnel Pro Fiber Reconstruct, for sure I'm happy to.

-*-

The series comes in several items from shampoo, conditioner, mask, leave in, and mine are conditioner and the leave in.

The conditioner itself is smooth, comes in a white creamy texture and smells good. It conditioned my hair just nice and I like to leave them on for around 5 minutes before rinsing  it off. What makes it different from the regular conditioner is that it has that 'filling' and reconstructing ability so the hair doesn't feel so brittle anymore. I've been using them for weeks now and I find no more hair being breaks. It helps strengthen the hair follicle like each strand's particle is fuller.

My hair is so brittle, when I touches the hair, I feel like they are they are so rough since many parts has been damaged. Since using the products, the hair is much chubbier and like a normal hair, no bumpiness nor parts that are missing.

-*-

Long-lasting* restructuring care, conditioner for very damaged hair. Especially designed for very damaged hair fiber and cortex, the PRO FIBER Reconstruction range from L'Oréal Professionnel creates a long-lasting effect of reconstructed hair, leaving the hair fiber feeling new from roots to ends. Hair is stronger, intensely soft, shiny, smooth and with a lightweight feel.
I use the conditioner like usual, after shampooing and on a wet hair. Rinsing them off is also easy, usually product that made for very damaged hair are heavy in texture and tend to be sticky, this one is light and very comfortable. I use it on my mid part hair all the way to the ends avoiding the scalp.

-*-

After rinsing everything off. I dry may hair using a towel and then continue the routine with the leave in from the same series.

Long-lasting* restructuring care, serum-in-cream for very damaged hair. Hair is replumped and controlled, radiating vitality, healthy again and repaired*. New fiber effect from roots to ends. The fiber is strong, intensely soft, shiny, smooth and light.

HAIR TYPE

  • Very damaged hair
  • Sensitized hair
  • Damaged cortex
  • Chemically altered
  • Hair subjected to multiple and agressive processes

RESULTS

  • Supple
  • Silky Soft
  • Nourished
  • Bouncy
  • Restored hair

-*-

Just a pump is enough for the me. It's white and creamy but lighter compared to the conditioner. They both has similar scent.

I'm using the leave in before hair dryer or sometime anytime when I think my dry ends looks like they needed some help.

These babies when use together works wonder to my hair. They become much smoother, softer, appear healthier and that glow is visible. The silky polished hair is definitely better than my super parched hair.

-*-

Now I'm more confident for my hair thanks to Pro Fiber Reconstruct, I can flaunt my hair and people will see the lovely colors, not the deeply damaged hair anymore.

-*-

Thank you L'Oreal Professionnel for the products that not only works in rebooting my hair, but airy, no greasy whatsoever, and never weighting them down.

L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Color A-OX

Hello lovelies,

my recent hair color may perhaps surprise everyone who knows me. But this is not my first time coloring my hair in these super bright colors, I've done rainbow too with a perfectly white bleached hair back in the 2013 with orange, pink and dark blue. It's like a fiasco of colors and back then the trend it's not like today where you could easily find a 'friend' on almost anywhere you go, I was like the only one in Jakarta.

-*-

Nowadays being purple, teal, autumn red, to blue doesn't really made me stand out, it's just one of those groups :D

Being the center of attention with these colors means I have to stand out for the right reason, I don't want people to see my hair as dry, severely damaged or worst, giving people bad impression on fashion color.

-*-

So I happen to be given some products by L'Oreal Professionnel. They are one of the most famous hair products brand in Indonesia, continually adding new items or perhaps re-inventing their variants. Like their Vitamino Color has now turn into Vitamino Color A-OX.

-*-

Similar packaging, color and design, but the differences are in the improved formula for colored hair.

http://www.lorealprofessionnel.co.uk
Protect your hair colour radiance and boost its intensity and shine with our Vitamino Color hair care range. Suitable for all hair colours, it gently eliminates residue and helps protect colour-treated hair. Enjoy a nourishing feeling with our best colour radiance protection.
-*-

Shampoo:

Indulge in the sensorial colour radiance protecting Vitamino Color AO-X shampoo that leaves coloured hair feeling instantly soft. Enriched in an anti-oxidant complex and UV filters. Your colour of choice looks more vibrantly shiny. Residue is eliminated, while colour radiance is protected.

Conditioner:

The rich texture of the Vitamino Color A-OX Conditioner leaves coloured hair easier to detangle and feeling smoother. Used after the Vitamino Shampoo, your colour-treated hair feels soft and the hair colour radiance protected while the look of shine and colour radiance are beautifully boosted.

-*-

The scent is almost the same, but it is less sweet and more to the floral. Let's start from the shampoo, the formula lathers easily on my super dry and damaged hair, it doesn't create that taut feeling that could lead to tangles. The hair is cleaned effortlessly and smells good too, the scent last for hours on my hair, especially when the conditioner is added afterwards.

The shampoo also easily rinsed out leaving the hair comfortable thanks to the silky softening effect, they also made my hair behave better. Adding the conditioner later on was like a true match, they bring each other best. The conditioner coated the hair. I like to use them around 15 cm from the roots and all the way to the ends. Leave them on for perhaps 5-10 minutes or whenever I have time to leave them using a shower cap and then rinse it off. The first thing I felt is the silkening effect, unruffled, and very much looks moist and glossy. Like my hair has gain a vibrant color power all over again.

The effect of the conditioner on my super dry hair last for around half a day, so I added that Absolut Repair Lipidium, which is like a treatment oils. It helps to retain the moisture and the effect is just superb on drab hair.

Thank you so much L'Oreal Professionnel for these babies, my hair definitely enjoys using them and I'm glad that it kept the hair color last longer with a controllable  outcome I adore.

BeautyLabo Hair Color

Hello lovelies,

how are you? I hope everyone is well and happy. I have been through so many things for these past few weeks, from getting iLasik, kidney stone, to holiday and everything in between. It's like a roller coaster ride lately and been to many ups and downs. While so, some of my reviews have to be postpone, sorry for the delays, I hope you understand.

After getting things sort out, this is the first review I can do from the long hiatus, it's a hair color from Beauty Labo with a collaboration with Kawaii Beauty Japan.

-*-

The collection consist of fashion colors that are young, fresh and hips. They are from Japan, so the quality and practicality definitely well proven. Contain Almond and Coconut Oils that are known to be good for the hair, especially in making them shiny and smooth.

Inside the box, there's the cream and developer, plus some details of information and plastic gloves. The product is easy to be applied by hands and mine is Apricot Candy.

You can easily choose other colors such as Natural Black, Dark Brown, Natural Blonde, Pure Beige, Raspberry Pink, or mine (Apricot Candy).

-*-

How to prepare:

Simply open sachet and put it inside the bottle where the developer and cream can be mixed together as a hair color formula. Shake them well after closing the lid.

At first the color are still white with yellowish tone, after a while mine turns into this purple creamy formula, this is the normal shade of formula for the color with a reddish tone.

-*-

It is always best to color the hair when it is on it's 'dirty' condition. Dirty as in haven't been washed for at least 24 hours, some people even said the longer the better, but I think if it's too long and the hair is too dirty, it will create some problems too. Like if the hair is too oily, the formula will not be able to work properly. So 24-48 hours should be good enough, and if your hair is really damaged (like mine) do use a leave in conditioner on the ends of the hair to help with extra protection for the hair.

After making sure that the hair is ready for coloring (brushed and you have worn your worst clothing where you won't mind it getting stained), use the gloves and petroleum jelly on hair lines and the side of the ears that might get some colorant. I use some on my neck too. The petroleum jelly helps prevent staining and all I need is wiped it off if the colors get on to it.

-*-

Afterwards, I parted my hair into sections, color per section starts from the back, all the way to the front. One package is enough for my medium length hair. The formula is easy to be spread all over the hair, using a wide tooth comb also helps making sure all the parts are getting some colors.

I waited around 30-40 minutes for the color to fully developed. I rinsed them off afterwards with running water all the way until the water turns clears. At first it was really thick and rather stiff. Add a bit of warm water and massage the hair off, it helps the hair too to get untangled.

Use a lot of conditioner or hair mask for colored hair afterwards if your hair is as damaged as mine so the hair can stay smooth and soft. Dry as usual and admire the new hair color.

-*-

Above is my before hair color, dull and faded. Below image is the after, the hair regain it's color again, bright and beautiful. I must say, Candy Apricot shade create a brighter hue for my skin tone.

The coconut and almond oil does help my hair to appear better, if I continue to took care of my hair properly, I can maintained the color and hair condition for the best. Healthy hair definitely looks prettier, they'll shine and stronger too.

-*-

Soon after, I went to Bali for a few days, I swam and enjoy my days under the sun, the color stays, even with that many washes. I'm happy with the result, the color not easily worn out and there's still shine on my hair.

I did some terrible things by having my hair permed and bleached in such a short period, they didn't have time to heal nor survived, hence the color on the part where the hair is severely broken looses the color faster than the rest (healthier part).

-*-

Overall,

Beautylabo Hair Color provide a fashion color with a vivid and long lasting effect that suits our skin tone as the shades are gorgeous and perfect for a trend setter. The fresh tone gave me a younger looking and made me feels good about myself.

The product is very easy to be used at home without expertise and as long as we read the instruction and details thoroughly the chance to fail is near impossible.

Thank you so much Kawaii Beauty Japan and Beautylabo for the opportunity to review Candy Apricot, see you again soon!!

Matrix Biolage for Colored Hair

Hello lovelies,

Matrix Biolage is here with hair care products worth trying for. Being bleached, colored and (stupidly) perm the hair recently, means my hair is not just overly processed big time but the dryness level is on the peak. I can't even keep a color last longer than a few weeks since it was too damaged. Not that I'm a quitter, I want to color my hair again with some deep colors but for now, maintenance is much needed for sure.

-*-

Here are some of the products from Matrix Biolage that I mentioned earlier, I happen to try on ColorLast Conditioner, Mask, and SmoothProof Hair Serum. These three babies has been my best friend lately, made my hair looks like hair again, feels like hair again and manageable too.

-*-

Let start with the conditioner:
Color-treated hair often loses it's color and luster over time. Inspired by nature's fade-defying orchid, Biolage COLORLAST Conditioner helps maintain the color depth, tone and shine for vivid color-treated hair. Give her hair salon-vibrant color for up to 9 weeks*.

*When using the system of COLORLAST Shampoo and Conditioner vs. a non-conditioning shampoo.

- Low pH Conditioner moisturizes hair, extending the life of your color
- Hair is left soft and detangled with extra shine and depth of color
- Paraben-free formula is formulated specifically for color-treated hair
How To Use
Apply to wet hair and leave in 1-3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. We recommend that you pair the COLORLAST Conditioner with COLORLAST Shampoo to help maintain your color-treated hair.

-*-

The Mask,
Color-treated hair often needs intense moisturization to help maintain its tone and color. Inspired by nature's fade-defying orchid, Biolage COLORLAST Mask helps maintain the color depth, tone and shine for vivid color-treated hair.*

*When using the system of COLORLAST shampoo and conditioner vs. a non-conditioning shampoo.

- Wraps strands in 360* nourishment for extra conditioning.
- Silkens and adds shine to your hair
- Paraben and silicone free mask for color-treated hair is formulated specifically for color-treated hair
How To Use
Apply to wet hair and leave in 3-5 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. We recommend that you pair COLORLAST Mask with COLORLAST Shampoo for extra color protection. Use once or twice weekly in place of COLORLAST Conditioner.

-*-

The oil or Hair Serum,
Frizzy hair needs special treatment to control flyaways. Inspired by natures water-resistant camellia, Biolage SMOOTHPROOF Serum for frizzy hair provides humidity control and anti-frizz smoothness even in 97% humidity.*

*When using the system of SMOOTHPROOF Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum vs. a non-conditioning shampoo.

- Tames frizz and flyaways while adding shine
- Keeps hair smooth and protects against heat styling tools and humidity
- Paraben-free formula is also suitable for color-treated hair
How To Use
Tames frizz and flyaways while adding shine Keeps hair smooth and protects against heat styling tools and humidity Paraben-free formula is also suitable for color-treated hair

-*-

The first thing I've tried is the  conditioner. It's a white creamy like texture (like most other conditioner) with a pink floral scent that I like. I thought it is similar to any other conditioner on the market but this one has an upgrade. The longer I left it on the hair after shampooing, the more it does magic to my hair, made them soft and smooth once again. At least until the next wash.

The scent does last too, made my hair smells fragrant all day long.

Adding the serum right before hair drying also helps. It made my hair stays in better shape. Usually, my hair looks so dry and becomes more brittle after wash since the hair is cleaned and there's less moisture intact, clean for sure, but stripped as well.

Deep Smoothing Serum made my hair shines and even though it was oils, my hair doesn't become oily nor greasy. I use the product when my hair is still damp (after shower) around a quarter size. It penetrates into the hair making them smooth and frizz free.... for normal hair, for me, less frizz for sure.

For those who happens to suffer (made/causing/dig your own grave) very dry hair can also use it as a pre-care routine. Apply as many as you want onto the hair (avoiding the scalp by far) and leave them as long as possible on the hair. For me 1-2 hours does the trick. And then go to the shower and shampoo the hair like usual, use favorite conditioner and dry like usual using a bit of the serum again. The unbearable smoothness will be felt immediately, the shine and the fondness of keep playing with the hair. And of course, they'll smell so good too.

-*-

Ooh now the Mask, the one that I think made a bigger impact and better conditioned as it has thicker, creamier and heavier creams, it's like the concentrated version of the conditioner. I'm using this one for almost everything. I can use the product everyday or any time I want that extra smoothness and silkiness of the hair, smells so good, like the floral in the conditioner but intensify, the scent last until the next day, even when facing public transportation (in Singapore). The silkiness does last all day long too, they are not just coating but help bringing strength to the hair and vitality too. My hair looks dead on most days, but whenever I use these babies, they look alive and well, no one thinks that they are damaged enough.
On daily basis, or special occasions (means, when I have the time), I put on some mask right after shampooing, wrap them on a plastic wrap or shower cap and leave them as long as possible. Above 15 minutes is best even thou' it is said to be 3-5 minutes. I find them deeply penetrating into my hair and transforming them into live.

The colors look vibrant, the flexibility or elasticity of the hair increases, it becomes better and far less breakage. Everything is visible and noticeable, I guess when it comes to hair mask, this one is definitely good and worth purchasing.

-*-

The thick white cream is easy to be used, and I like using them before going for a dip too in the pool. The water in most swimming pool causing the hair (everything) dry, hence getting a pre-care is important for my oh-so-brittle hair. The perm really does it this time, I guess bleach and perm should not ever be done (again) on the hair.

After slathering some of the creams on my hair, focusing on the ends and avoiding the scalp. I leave them on for around 30 minutes before going into the water. The hair get the pre-nourishment it deserves to survive. After the swim and wash, my hair doesn't feel as dry as usual, it is still manageable and feels comfortable to be in.

I do clean by using the appropriate shampoo plus the conditioner by Matrix Biolage ColorLast, and when I have more time, I can simply add the mask again, and it seals the deal. The hair serum can be used as well before swimming and after.

-*-

One thing for sure, now that I'm using the trios, I'm not that worry about my lifestyle and daily activities. I can still color my hair and swim as much as I want and let Matrix Biolage ColorLast took care the rest. My hair stays smooth, softer, and silky, on some point, where I though it was no where near possible, they even shines.

-*-

Thank you Matrix Biolage ColorLast for help preserving the color on my hair while keeping them elastic and doesn't break off as easy as it used to be. My hair regain it's strength and act like hair should be once again. I won't abuse my hair as bad as I was but keep in mind of how color could last and shine better with ColorLast.

L'Oreal Paris Excellence #DiscoverYourColor

Hello everyone!!

L'Oreal Paris once again invited us to discover the color with their new microsite where anyone could upload their image, get their skin tone checked and then the program will help determine which shades suits best.

There will be options to choose from and you could be as bold as you want to.

-*-

Last year, L'Oreal Paris Excellence Brand Ambassador has changed her hair color with the challenge given, now, Dian Sastrowardoyo claims that she finds it irresistible to continually changed her hair color to even on some point, once a month. Using only L'Oreal Paris Excellence and weekly hair care like hair mask, her hair remains healthy and doesn't look damaged.

-*-

As someone who enjoys changing hair color on trimonthly basis, I do know quite a lot about DIY hair color at home. Many brands, shades and texture I've tried. And yes, L'Oreal Paris Excellence is definitely one of the best brand there is. They've done their research and understood that, it's not just about getting the hair colored, but the treatments, essences and every little details needed in the process. Like gloves, pre-color care, after color care, the product itself and so on.

It was among the most 'complete' set there is, in the market.

-*-

If you're interested,go to https://www.discoveryourcolor.co.id
don't forget to have some fun there!

Going home, all of us are getting a package from L'Oreal. I picked the lightest shade there is 6.45. So the higher the number, the lighter the shade is, so if there's 4.45 and 6.45, 6.45 is the lightest shade compared to 4.45, which means 4.45 is closer to our natural hair color (dark brown or black) compared to 6.45.

Of course, the result vary from virgin to processed hair as well. Mine is considered (over) processed, hence, light shades could easily 'infused' into my hair than those who haven't dyed their hair before.

Gradually, if continued to be colored with the same shade, the hair will 'increase' it's acceptability to the color. In the same time, care is becoming more and more important, hence intense mask, daily hair care made for color hair, and even monthly basis in the professional salon.

-*-

Thank you so much L'Oreal Paris Excellence for having me at the event, I'll share my new hair color within 1-2 months since I just dyed by hair before the event.

-*-

See you again soon!!

Hair Treatment at Hair Lounge by Ryoji Sakate

Hello lovelies,

my hair was dyed around a month ago, since then I have to constantly color my hair since I'm using hair colorant that are not permanent. They are acid and known to made the hair condition better with nutrients and vitamins. However the color only last for around 1-2 weeks.

-*-

So, I'm back to Ryoji Sakate and have my hair manicured plus I'm getting a hair treatment too, known to make my super dry hair smooth, shines and so soft.

-*-

Using L'Oreal Nuancelle in Purple, the whole process took around 60-90 minutes from washing, application and waiting time plus drying too. The hair treatment only took less than 15 minutes where the product is used less than a minute with a result I love.

It was amazing, like my hair is healthy again. I can't really comb my hair since being bleached, now, I can use the finest brush and no tangle could be found. And the shine? Irresistible.

-*-

Do visit the salon for more information, they treatments for the hair and scalp. You can find one you need. Hair treatment can be done once a month and head spa (for the scalp) is around once every two weeks.

Between Pravana, Manic Panic, and Hair Manicure

Hello lovelies,

I've been experimenting with my hair again lately.

Since around high school, I've dyed my hair red, and then during college days, series of brown, light brown, highlights, dark blonde has been on and off for years. I've dyed my hair blue and purple too, but never to the phase that so bold and vivid. It was more like black with a ray of blue when the sun hits the hair, or deep violet purple.

It was on my twenties that I first try coloring my hair brightly, red is my option, and then I get a hair manicure and it opens up possibilities that colored hair can also shines so beautifully.

I'm not just talking about coloring your hair using those home kit product on your virgin hair, it was more like bleaching to the level where if you go any higher, your hair will breaks off.

-*-

I've been dying (matter of speech) to try on manic panic, they have the most intense color I know, and then I met Pravana as well. Shades like rainbow and not just a hint, but bold colorful rainbow. Also, those lovely pastels. It was really difficult to get the pastel, your hair has to be really strong for the bleach to really run through your hair, completely removing any pigment left, to be become white as a new canvas, ready to be paint.

Imagine, cotton candy, baby blue, milky yellow or cloudy lavender, it's the shades that need a really clean paper hair.

I'm not really a fan of a total pastel, and I don't think my hair can take it as well, so I get Pravana 40% and bleach my hair as instructed. And when I see that it is already so coarse, I stopped and didn't continue with 20% for a lighter shade.

At first I've dyed mine using Pink Flamingo, I love it but the color almost runs out within a month. It didn't stained anywhere like Rockability Blue (it was nuts, stain everywhere!!!) nor like Atomic Turquoise. I think Pink Flamingo is the best.

-*-

As seen above, my hair looks so fry, like super duper dry that I can get electric charge thanks to the friction.

I love the color but hate the dryness.

So I remember hair manicure, asking around from salon to salon, it is still as expensive as before, around Rp. 800.000 for my length. I need it so bad but since I bleach and dyed my hair by myself, why not do the hair manicure as well.

So I bought some from Tokopedia and choose green and purple. It was from L'Oreal called Nuancelle. They are actually comes in many shades, but most shops only sell red, brown and clear (like it was the most sought after). If you're not sure about your hair color or doesn't want to be change, use the clear one as it is perfect for pastel colored hair.

What does it do?

It is actually a deep treatment that add a hint of color to the very damaged hair and mostly about the gloss. Don't try using it as a hair colorant as the color is fading on each wash, oh right, like manic panic too, but use hair manicure products to get that awful state back to looking good.

A lot of salon has this kind of treatment, there are some Korean salon in Indonesia that have their own brand of hair manicure (not L'Oreal).

I saw on Habb and they do have many pretty pastel shades on their hair manicure section.

-*-

How to use a hair manicure?

Clean your hair first using a shampoo, then towel dry the hair and apply the formula all over the hair avoiding scalp, So never let the formula touches the scalp. Just like coloring the hair, I prefer using a brush instead of a coloring brush like shown about, it was too thin and when the hair is wet, it pulls more than helps applying.

Leave them on by using a cling wrap (like the one for food) just wrap your hair like using a shower cap and it is best to heat it up a bit. I'm sitting near a hot water or using a blow dryer in a hot mode.

Around 20 minutes and then open the cling wrap. Let it stay in room temperature for 5 minutes before rinsing everything off. It was like a series of endless colored water and it will still stain your towel for days and days. Clear is best for sure, I'm getting them in clear once I've finished with these two.

This time, I only use half of the container, I want to use all but half of it is suffice. A tube cost me around 125.000 Rupiah, so the price is definitely cheaper than in salon. But in a hair salon, you'll get professional help plus the application must be better and far more even.  I'm using two mirrors, one in my right to the back and the other in front. Use your favorite angle to get them done. Always brush your hair before coloring or applying hair manicure, it helps a lot!

Since the shade I'm choosing is green and not turquoise like my hair color, it changes it shade to what it is below.

-*_

Look at my hair now, it is not as dry as before hair treatment. On all the picture here, both images are taken after shower and just drying my hair using a hair dryer. So the condition are clearly different one to another.

The differences are visible, touchable and definitely I can manage my hair better than before.

People I met are shocked looking at my hair now as it is not as dry as it was. Like they were confuse, the more I colored my hair, the less dry it become, it was hair manicure for sure.

-*-

There are pros and cons in all the things I've done at home (from bleaching, coloring with manic panic, and then hair manicure), especially bleaching since when getting a professional help, they know until which stage the hair can 'survive' the bleach. Bleach will always damaged your hair, made them dryer and definitely ruins you if you overuse it. Same goes with coloring and hair manicure, getting help means they should do a better job than you alone, so it means a more 'artistic' and even application.

The thing is, when you done things at home, everything is in your hands. Never let those chemicals touches the scalp. Look what it did to the hair, you don't want any of that to get into your system than it already did. If it hurts you on the scalp, don't do it, it's not worth it and letting anyone hurts you like that plus you have to pay for them, it's a big no no.

Once I had my hair manicure at a famous salon, and the stylist accidentally dripped some on my scalp, he tried to removed it like crazy and bleed my scalp. It was very painful.

I also bleach my hair once and the stylist (other place, other time) apply them on my scalp, it was also very painful.

Let's just say I have pretty bad experience with salons. So now, I'm only went to places I can really trust. I'm scared to get hurt again, physically and financially.

-*_

So, if you want to try DIY your hair, always read, read and read the manual, instruction and details needed. Side effects and cons should be fully studied before hand.

Tips from me, relax! It always took longer than you think. Prepare everything well and go easy on your self, don't be to tense. There are tons of brands, colors and types you could choose, get the one that matches your lifestyle.

Most hair colorant are best to be used on dry dirty hair as in let your hair be unwashed at least 24 hours.
Manic panic need to be applied on dry and cleaned hair, so wash your hair and then dry them completely using a hair dryer and then apply the product.
Hair manicure is applied on a cleaned and semi dry hair, wash your hair cleaned and then use a towel, when there's no more drips, the product can be applied.

For girls, never get your hair done during PMS and during your period, it hurts you more. I learned this the hard way.

Hope it helps <3 br="">

As I'm using the products, I have high hopes and expectation since none of Rene Furterer products have failed me. I personally has been their loyal customer since 15 years ago and I remember that my (hair) life goes ups and down, literally through thick and thin, Rene Furterer's shampoo, conditioner, masks, treatments and oils has always pleased me in so many ways. From the aroma to the sensation and result, it's real and wonderful at the same time.

The process and journey with them is smooth and it's kinda like my guilty pleasure since I'm enjoying using their products so much.

So when the first open the tube and sniff the scent, oh well, it was not as fresh, as lovely, as fragrant as the other variant. These are like balsamic, it's not that they smell bad, but ... balsamic as in like a deep forest roses.

-*-

Nevertheless, I'm still using them. Start from the shampoo which lathers easily on my dry and coarse hair thanks to the bleach and repeated coloring process, and unlike other shampoo where the tangles are easily formed, this shampoo felt good on the hair, it actually soften the hair, making them manageable as well, even when it's still wet.

It cleans the scalp and hair nicely, and the feeling on the scalp is just wonderful. No clogging, greasy residue, oils not limp hair. It is pampering without annoying the scalp from things that are unnecessary like silicone, or at least I didn't see any silicone on the ingredients list, no sulfate too, since sulfate is known to take the color out of the colored hair. But I do noticed the paraben >.<

Continued with the conditioner that are used from the mid length to the ends of the hair. I leave them on until around 5 minutes since the conditioner can also be used as an instant hair mask. Immediately, the hair feels silky, smooth and with body. It helps them stay de-tangled and looks shinier.

Beside all of the information from the website, you can also read them at the boxes and they do provide pamphlet as well inside the box. Aside from that, the product itself is easy to be used.

Protects and boosts the radiance of colored hair

OKARA PROTECT COLOR Radiance enhancing shampoo, with an fruity, gourmet aroma, preserves the intensity of colored hair with a sulfate-free acidic pH cleansing base. Hair is tangle-free, soft, and radiant.

Those who colored their hair must have known that the problems after coloring the hair is the hair become dry, brittle, prone to breakage once the drying kept on going, and for those repeated offenders (like me) and bleach user, the hair become so dry, in the end they'll loose all those natural shine and have to keep on coloring so the 'void' at hair strands remain 'filled with colors'.

That's why colored hair fade, the colorants are removed from each day of using the wrong products. It is impossible not to clean the hair, it is unavoidable, but we can choose products like OKARA so the hair color stays vibrant and pretty longer, or at least until the next coloring process (usually 3-6 months).

-*-

OKARA shampoo and conditioner works hand in hand keeping the colors intact, and adding to the collection is the Radiance Enhancing Spray.

-*-

The spray is like a leave in formula used when we're about to use a hair dryer (in my case). So after finish with the shampoo and conditioner, towel dry the hair and use the spray right before hair drying or when about to style the hair. I also use the spray before using hot tools such as straightener or a hair curler.

The spray is light and can be used as often as I needed, but not too much and not made to touch the roots, so they are only for the hairs. It has the exactly same scent with the rest of the variant, like a sour and bitter citrus mixed with a forest rose, kinda balsamic and smell acidic. The product is not necessarily acidic, just the aroma.

Instant detangling effect with UV and color protection

With its lightweight texture, this OKARA PROTECT COLOR Radiance enhancing spray instantly detangles colored hair and protects it every day. Natural look.

Since my hair is specially treated by the professional, my hair will keep on developing it's color even after a month. So at first, the team will made the hair seems darker, underneath it all is bleach, hence the color will keep on being lighter and lighter. And of course, the hair will become dryer and dryer or at least that's how it appears to be.

But as I'm using OKARA shampoo, conditioner and radiance enhancing spray, the hair actually still radiant and the color loss maintained in the lowest level possible.

-*-

Gradually and eventually they color do change, but the shines are still there or even added thanks to OKARA.

-*-

A coarse, dry and brittle hair is of course become full of tangles, but with OKARA series, the hair even though still feels a bit dry (a chemical hair process would definitely still change the natural hair condition) the hair still manageable and soft enough to the touch. I can also say that the breakage are far less and the hair regain it's strength.

-*-

Radiance Enhancing Spray can also be used as a UV protection for the hair. I know that in Indonesia we're not really using a UV protection, at least there's still not a lot of people using the UV protection on their skin, and what more for the hair, they actually important for both hair and skin. On the skin, we all know that the UV protection product does so much than to prevent dark spots but also skin cancer.

For the hair, if you pay attention, those who spend more times under the sun without using a hair, umbrella or anything to protect the hair, their hair are usually dryer, more brittle and losing their hair pigment. So the hair will appear 'fade' from whatever their natural or existing hair color is (colored or not). In the end, using a UV protection product for the hair help the color to stays longer, better, shinier, and of course in the end, all of these products made the hair becomes healthier.

Thank you Rene Furterer Indonesia, I'll definitely keep on using OKARA series for my colored hair.
