Etude House Proof 10 Auto Pencil and Eyeliner

Hello lovelies,

my previous review is about a mascara that wont smear, smudge and do last, now it's time for eyeliners.

As always, this is a very humid place we live in Jakarta and my greasy eyelids are never kind enough to stay put, whether I'm on an event or special occasion, they made almost all eyeliner smudge.

I hope this one doesn't.

Proof 10's water-proof eye pencil supplies clean, intense definition for a long lasting, perfect 10 smoky eye look. Comes with sharpener for fine line application.

Directions

Remove cap and use pencil to trace eye lines along lash roots.

Pull out sharpener from end and insert pencil tip into sharpener, applying light pressure while rotating pencil to sharpen.

Reattach cap and sharpener after use.

The pencil comes with a retractable container so I don't have to worry about sharpener but it does have it's own sharpener if I want the tip to be sharper. The item comes in 4 shades and I choose the one with a hint of purple as it help gives my eyes a nuance and not too Gothic black.

As seen on the image below, the line made is not too dark, it was even kinda natural and doesn't made me look so fierce compared to using the black ones. m

And on my hand, the auto pencil stays even after the whole day, against water too. Does it also stays as good as it is on the eyes? Let's continue exploring, shall we?!

The next item and the one that usually used together is Liquid Liner, also from the same line of Proof 10.

Description
This is a water proof gel liner that completes powerful edge eyes with its innovative texture and vivid color.

Directions
1. Lightly shake 4~5 times before using.
2. Draw from center to edge of eyes, and than gently connect line from inner corner to center of eyes.

As seen below, it doesn't really create a nice fine line, and I was right, sometime it is like an on and off printer, the gel is a bit hard to handle. It doesn't and so far haven't give me any one smooth line without fail, even after shaking it. Perhaps I have to shake it more than 5 times prior usage.

And like the auto pencil, on my hand it stays through water, but not through oil plus rubbing.

Once rub (after being touched by oil) it is gone instantly. The good news is that, it is just gone without smudging or making a mess.

The result on using them both does as described, a clean finish (but applying the liquid liner still need longer time than the auto pencil, a lot longer), and there's no smudge whatsoever for the whole day, it stays nicely.

When my eyes sweat, like usual, they are both staying put, as long as I don't rub them. So it is pretty much proven to be sweat-proof, water-proof but not really oil-proof.

Cleaning them is easy, use a good eye makeup remover and they'll be gone instantly. On inner liner, do use a soaked cotton bud and gently swipe the area using a safe eye makeup remover. The key in cleansing or just about anything with the eyes, is to do it gently.

Whether natural makeup or heavier one, the eyeliners both pencil and liquid works pretty well. I am impressed with the auto pencil even more since it really stays put even on watery area like on the waterline.
