I used one of Cinique's mascara back then and I hate it, it smears all over so I asked the staff numerous time whether she is sure that this wont smudge, and she said, it wont even budge.

As doubtful as I ever be, I'm trying anyway.

The mascara comes in two shades, black and deep brown, mine is in black. Black Onyx.

I was surprise to see the small brush, it was like the smallest ones out there, so it is perfect for short lashes like mine as it grips nicely and those gripping are also made by the creamy gel that is rather sticky, it even can curl my lashes up like a roller thanks to the texture and the design of the brush.

Upper and lower lashes are both taken care off, this is my wand for sure. And the blackness of the mascara also feels right, so deeply in black.

even thou' it felt sticky during application, once dried, they are fine and harden, so the shape of the lashes will stay, do use a curler before for that added curliness. And yes, curliness is a word.

And here it is, the moment of truth, does it bleed? No it doesn't. Like really doesn't budge, never smudge, when accidentally rubbed it is like breaking off in a very tiny bits and in a very small amount. So my greasy lid can act however they please, yet the mascara stays. It stands through Jakarta's humidity, amazing!

Usually, this kind of mascara is hard to clean, but taking their advice and let the warm water sits also help. Also using a good makeup remover helps breaking their particles off.

I'm sold. Once again Clinique has proven me they are not just a skincare brand, their makeup also superb! They have launch a highly pigmented lipstick that still feel very comfortable on the lips, pretty blush on, and now this.

The build-able mascara is convenient but without putting too much layers, like 2-3 coats only, below are the result.

Thanks to the small wand and the perfect texture of the mascara, it pulls out my short lashes and making them stands out, they look more intense in terms of shade, numbers and volume. And best of all, the product does do what it is supposed to be doing, a long wearing mascara that stays, really stays.
