Hello lovelies,
matte lipstick era is not over yet, and I don't think they'll ever be over, you either get glossy or matte.
And this is Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in 50, La Romanesque.

Elevating matte to a new elegance, this next-generation, non-drying matte lipstick glides on lips with intensely rich, long-wearing colour and a sumptuously soft, velvet matte finish.

I love the color, the 'thinness', the second skin like formula and how smooth it is. Lightly scented with floral aroma and the nice touch of moisture where it is just right. It doesn't have that over creamy feeling nor dry.

The packaging look luxurious and the details are given on the box.
The product itself comes with a black and golden clickable part where the lipstick will come out after a click and a pull. So it is securely fasten inside the container, perfect for traveling.

The wine color looks perfect on for a fall season, it has depth but still appear ravishingly beautiful. I do find this color suitable for women in charge as well. Imagine a female boss using this lipstick, somehow it added her charisma and sophistication.
Does the color stay and the lips stay loving the formula?
It does.

It may not be waterproof, but they do suits as a long wear lipstick. And the gentle hydration is sufficient. You may add a lip balm before or after using the lipstick. But on my case, I do find them a bit tricky when used after a lip balm, due to the lipbalm's texture that gives grease and slippery matter.
So perhaps, dab them or wait around before applying this satisfying lipstick on the lips.

No need a lip liner, primer or anything, the lipstick looks great on its own.
Well, what can I say, another fabulous product from Chanel with the color that matches autumn.
