Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate and Midnight Recovery Eye

These two items has been a favorite of mine since they launch months and months ago, well actually it's almost a year, and I've been using them on and off. I've used it with other series from Kiehl's family and with non-kiehl's products and I can say they are universal.

Midnight Recovery Eye

The ideal companion to the highly successful Midnight Recovery Concentrate, this restorative concentrate of essential oils and botanicals improves the youthful appearance around the eye. Infused with the same natural ingredients as Midnight Recovery Concentrate, as well as Butcher’s Broom, this night treatment leaves under-eye skin feeling strengthened and replenished. Midnight Recovery Eye’s non-migrating cream texture is specifically formulated for the delicate eye area.

The serum is a clear light oil texture and very fragrant. The skin feels pampered and reminds me a lot of a spa. They always use lavender to calm the senses and that particular ingredients is available in the Midnight Recover Concentrate. Put some drops on the palms and let it warm up a bit, inhale the scent on the palm before gently pressing them on a cleaned and toned face. The product can be paired up with PSLRC which contain 10,5% of vit C from Kiehl's.

After using the serum I've moved on the the white creamy lotion which doesn't smell as fragrant as the serum, it felt rich at first but instantly absorbed by the skin near the eyes area and give the skin no residue effect. No sticky, grease nor any discomfort. This is really nice.

The powerful duo help my skin to look younger by keep giving it nutrients needed for the skin. At night time when the skin is resting they actually fixing themselves, and during this crucial moments they need 'reinforcements'. Ingredients inside the serum such as squalane, evening primrose oil, and other essential oils provides the necessary formula so when used every night the skin will be smoother, more radiant, hydrated and soft when waking up in the morning.

Same goes with Midnight Recover Eye, waking up with a less puffiness and lines are possible now. The formula stays on the skin all night long without being heavy. I dislike an eye cream that have oily residue as sometime it will accidentally gets into the eyes.

Don't forget to seal the deal with a good moisturizer so the serum and eye cream stays intact, the nourishment absorbed and waking up with like after using a 'sleeping mask'. As always, use them regularly, I'm seeing effect from the first usage and keep improving over the weeks and months.

The concentrate is enough for around 45 days of usage (1x daily at night) and the eye cream around 40 days as well (1x daily at night). It is very important to keep the skin clean from makeup or any debris before using any skincare so the products can penetrate better. Exfoliate the skin once a week or once every 2 weeks for those with sensitive skin.
