I've got some awesome products from Luxola which I'm not familiar or event heard of, so I've been studying, learning, trying and using it since I get back from Singapore, which is 3 weeks ago. So pretty much there's been test drives of these samples and they were awesome!

I didn't expect much, well for sure, I didn't expect anything from it, yes, it's from Swiss, one of my favorite country in the world, yes, the product look sophisticated and high tech too, seems like made with precisions, and so on, and when I looked at the gel, it was clear, no scent and doesn't foam much. I thought it was just a bummer, since usually the one that doesn't foam doesn't made the skin 'feels' clean. This one just does it. It cleans my skin, even thou' I'm not that brave in using it as a makeup remover all at once I did trust it as a second wash after my waterproof makeup remover, which usually I use the one that foams, like abundant of foam. This one gives me minimum foam.

The gel clean the skin like non other, it's unique, refreshing and still kept the moist but the feeling is still clean. There are some product that claimed to clean without striping the moisture but actually just doesn't clean well. This one actually cleanses the skin while keeping them soft and supple. My husband have an oily, angry and easily irritated skin with high sensitivity and his skin looks relaxed and calm when usually red and angry (especially during traveling). Planes causes his skin to dry and now he just got back from a business trip and his skin looks well. I'm impressed!

This one definitely does it! Careful thou' not to use it too much. I know for sure the ingredients are active or at least activates something inside our skin, I uses too much for the first 3 days and redness appears on my forehead. No, not acne, like red bump that disappears immediately 24 hours after I stopped the serum. I think next time I stick to 2 drops only or maximum 3 drops. It was really really effective. It stimulate the skin for visible hydration, smoothness and healthier skin. Again, just don't use it too much. If you want to check whether your skin can take it or not, try bit by bit for a while, like 1-2 drops twice daily on a cleaned skin, this is a pre-serum, which used before the serum. And after around 3 days if you think your skin can take it use as suggested 2-3 drops twice daily.

I'll keep using it as the clear thick water is just lovely and even thou' the laughing lines are still visible, the finer one like near the eyes and on forehead are actually gets finer and finer week after week.

Since I only have the sample size, that's all the review I can give right now for using it around 2 weeks.

At first the white lotion need to be shaken inside the tube since the first thing coming out is like waters, white spots and after shaking it for a while a smooth white lotion coming out. Feels light and again with no expectation, I was in awe. The white lotion at first look, feel and seems so white on the face after application. I expect some shines and glow like conventional sun protection, this one does not. The whitish look turn into clear in a matter of minutes and looks so natural. No shines, no greasy look, it's just so clear, yes, it is transparent. I love this product so much as it can really be use daily without the need to cover the shines (like made by other sunblocks) .

Overall, Luzern Laboratories items shown here are amazing and highly recommended to try them. And hmm, Luxola really meant it when they say all the products/brands carries in their online shops are really the one that they love and may I said kudos to them for actually proved to be searching products that's really really good. I know for sure there's gazillions of products out there and they seems to scoop out best things that haven't been around in Asia yet. Wow!

In the event, which I think you have read many reviews and event report about it, we are given so many information about the product, some of them are provided HERE.

Now, here's my Rumah Cantik Citra experience ^0^

We bring camera too, since the last time I'm here as an MC, I can't take pics since being too busy with the prep, now, I'm here to relax and enjoy. I brought my mom and sister to join the experience with me.

The building is quite spacious, with around 8 customers per session (each around 60 minutes), the parking lot is enough for 6 cars all at once. Right in front of the entrance is a beautiful pond underneath the path with Koi fishes swimming freely.

All the treatment is open for ladies only and above 15 years old.

Above is a treatment place where you don't have to take off your clothes since it was foot and hand massage or a back massage.

This is the treatment room for body massage and scrub. Thank you sister for the images ^__^ I was in a separated room than she is. But the room is similar. For one. 2 rooms are equipped with 2 beds for double occupancy, just in case you want to share a room with your BFF.

Since this is a night treatment, we were there around 3 PM and asked to take a shower before the treatment where other treatment is the other way around.

Now, back to the treatment.

After the shower with of course a selections from Citra Body Wash, our feet are scrub with natural ingredients, salt and lime.

After the feet are pampered, we moved to the bed and get an invigorating massage which later relaxes the whole body and I went to a sleep the minute I'm inside my car. It was a wonderful experience for my mom, sis and me. All of us enjoy the professional massage given, the grape seed oil infused lotion and the ambiance there. Who said that spa treatment has to be expensive to be good? Citra proving otherwise.

Rumah Cantik Citra has given me a very useful tips too on how to use Citra Night Whitening Lotion, first, the skin need to be cleaned so the lotion may absorb better on the skin and the nourishment is taken. I've tried the lotion before and it's like a few hours after taking a shower and indeed the effect is not really felt.

In Rumah Cantik Citra the grape seed oil also added, so it will double the effect ^__^ that's why I recommend every ladies to try the treatment there. They are also very kind in sharing information and tips. When application, it is best to do a circular massaging movement to the skin, not just for helping spreading the lotion but to increase blood circulation. A deep tissue massage may be difficult and impossible to be done alone, but you can ask your partner to help out heehee.

There are other ingredients in Citra Night Withening Lotion that would be beneficial for the skin as well, it is mulberry. As stated by ehow.com:

Ah, maybe that's why Citra Night Whitening Lotion uses them as ingredients. And it is already well known that our skin at night become drier, not just due to the fact that we uses air conditioner, but the skin regenerate, breathe and faster in releasing moisture as we sleep as well. Whitening Collagen Dream 70 Eye Cream

I'm back with more love to the eyes ^0^

In finding an eye care, usually I become more selective and careful since it will be applied around the eyes and as a contact lenses user I avoided thick texture and those that easily glide into the eyes and cause blurry, or worse, irritation.

A lot of eye cream on the market are too oily and can cause some oily bumps under the eye that caused by eye cream. These bumps are known as milia. Please do avoid the eye cream that's too dense, too rich, and hardly absorbed. The skin under the eye are different from the rest of the face, it is thinner, so it need special attention too and special care as well.

This is one of the product for the eye that I recently used which give the enough nutrition without being too heavy nor greasy.

The cream actually look like a gel when looked closely, a bit transparent, light and cooling too. Very delicate, soft and smells good. Soft flowery scent. I used around a rice size cream with my ring fingers and easily swipe them before tapping on the lower and upper area of my eyes. And sometimes uses it on my lips too when night times.

So far since I don't have dark eye circles so I could not comment about the whitening effect but I like how it gently hydrate the skin around the eyes while giving them a firming touch. I use it regularly for better result (day and night).

As I sprayed them on my face the smell of rose is bursting through the air, creating a mist of lovely aroma. I enjoy them more after they spend the night in the fridge, or at least a few hours before usage. Muggy days never been better. But for the use of makeup, I prefer my skin as it is, cleaned, toned, serum-ed, and moisturized. Perhaps I already use a series of hydrating skincare and only need the facial spray as a freshener as Jakarta is very hot and humid.

Travelers especially during long haul flights will definitely enjoy this wonderful idea of just simply spray and relax. Even thou the rose aroma quickly went away the hydrating feeling will last. Great for hairs as well and the lightness wont weight them down. Overall, just like the details by Mario Badescu, it's ideal for dry environments.

From my recent visit to Luxola, they gave me bunch of skincare since they know I do uses skincare daily and would not missed a single moment of getting to know more and more about skincare and one lovely thing I notice is that, inside Luxola there's a team that will decide which products they are going to bring in the family and which doesn't by actually trying and using the products.

I find that fact to be endearing and assuring at the same time. They actually believe in the products they sell. And Mario Badescu's are one of the brand they love.

Refreshing, disinfecting and deep cleaning astringent that is effective in drying up existing acne blemishes while preventing new eruptions. Sulfur and soothing Cucumber based, acne fighting formula that is non-drying and non-irritating.

How to Use: Twice daily after cleansing, pat skin dry and apply lotion dampened cotton by wiping in an outward direction until cotton comes up clean. Avoid eye area. Follow with moisturizer or night cream.

I was quite concern with the fact that the product is made for those with acne prone skin, since I have none and still wants to try, I give it a shot just to know how it goes. The yellow liquid can be easily poured to a cotton pad, the scent is well, like astringent, so I wasn't surprised by the alcohol felt instantly. It's not as drying as most astringent do, but definitely not in the moisturizing range. Not irritating is proven since my cheeks are not angry but still, this product best used for those with acne prone to see how effective it is. My sister and my husband are the correct people to do the job.

Both didn't complain. My sister didn't feel anything bothers her when using this toner, so does the dehydrated skin of my husband. Normally he was quite sensitive with everything where alcohol is involved, but this one is definitely milder where 'non drying and non irritating' is stated for his sensitive, red and easily irritated skin, it was better. He still feels something a bit sting on that yellow liquid (really just a bit) as he does have a very sensitive skin (especially when stress), but compared to other acne prone astringent he uses, this one is definitely his choice for being gentler to his skin.

I applaud the non drying formula and non irritating too and for me those PMS acne are no where to be seen. Let's just say, so far so good ^__^

Pure Natural Lip Roll-On (Berry)

The Body Shop surely have tons of fresh items almost monthly, like they are seriously trying to cater all our necessity and heart's desire.

Some work really well and become my favorite item, but this one ... failed to please me.

The smell is really wax-y for me. It was a real turn off. I think the mint one smells and feels better on the lips too, but my daughter insist with the Berry. I can still smell the berry, but still the wax is pushing it's way to my nose.

The roller ball also a bit drowned, so my lips can feel the sides of the outer rink.

It can be easily noticed as watery or oily, but I dislike the feeling. And I still prefer the lip balm (any range from TBS) for the feeling, scent and moisturizing effect as well.

Again, this is personal and no matter how I dislike this particular item, my daughter seems to love it. She said it was very convenient and smells really good.
