Fiber Wig Extra Long (Imju)

I know Fiber Wig years and years ago but yet only now I have to urge to have one, so when I'm walking around in Tokyo and inside Matsumoto I get myself one of there.

They have brown, black, small and regular sizes. My friend also using this product for a period of time and said it was good, in terms of waterproof. But for her it's not long enough, little that she knows that this product can be use repeatedly until it was long enough ^___^

This is my before look and I didn't use any tools like eye lash curler either, so you'll know the exact effect.

This is the type that I bought, an extra long in black.

Using the product is really a breeze and love how the liquid turns into lashes, it creates some kind of gluey string that stays, it added a couple of millimeters to my lashes with 4 times application, can I go on and on? Sure can!

I use it on my top and down lashes. For me the close up look is not that important, why? Who would ever see you in such close up, normally people will see you in normal position like below pic ^^

This is my final use of using the product, longer lashes like I have extensions on. Love how it stays and easily clean with warm water. Like a dried glue, there will be black strings that coated and lengthen your lashes that falls from your lashes, it is normal and NOT your natural lashes.

As the product is perfect to be use in Japan but as always, for use in hot and humid place like Jakarta a bit of them will drop, not smudge, drop like bits of pieces of strings. But if you stays on air conditioned room all the time, it'll be fine. Compared with other waterproof mascara? I found Fiber Wig to be 5 star in terms of waterproof, solid black color, and gives additional length to the lashes + affordable price too.

Boul Mich

As an opener after my trip to Japan, yes, I've been in Tokyo last week and stay in Shinagawa area, let me give you something sweet first, I will also keep on posting about my trip there and some details needed if you wanna go there as well. So let's begin with Boul Mich. Boul Mich is patisserie from France, the selection of desserts is just superb and 5 star class. But one particular item did caught my eyes.

Looks like big colorful sugar cubes, but somehow seen spongy as well. I bought a couple of them since I just can't resist the color. Little that I know my friend whose been staying in Japan later on told me it was marshmallow. But the taste is beyond any marshmallow.

You can choose many different flavors accordingly, since I know nothing about their language, I choose based on color that interest me most, blue, pink and purple, all in pastel.

The blue one is tangy, gooey and spongy in the same time, it taste refreshing and so good. You feels like you drink a juice that made out of grapefruit (perhaps?) and unlike marshmallow that sweet and feels like eating a cloud, this one is like a mixed of 20% jelly. Must try! My hubby whose not a sweet tooth owner loves it as well.

The Purple one is refreshing as well in a sense of berry feeling. Sweet but not as sweet as the pink one. The pink one is strawberry, perfect for a girl who likes her things sweet as sweets can be.

Whenever possible, try 'em!

Waxed at Waxing Corner and Kiehl's

I just have my waxed done yesterday at Waxing Corner, I get my voucher by DealKeren.com: http://www.dealkeren.com/jakarta/waxing-corner-2.html some time ago. And finally able to use it, I am kinda busy lately, next week I'm going to have a short holiday (short means a week) abroad. Visa is needed, so I'm juggling with documents and everything in between.

I've been using DealKeren for quite sometime now and haven't found any problems like others do, but do check around and contact them directly when problems occurred.

Okay back to Waxing Corner, I went there yesterday and sorry no pic was taken, you can take a look at Waxing Corner at the link I gave you up there from dealkeren.com. And pretty much like that and really is like a corner for being compact.

The room is clean but the front staff is rather ignorant, she just sat down and using blanket regardless of customers. There are 2 staffs inside, front staff and the one that waxed me. The experience? Ouch! So painful, really. I've done mine at Pink Parlour before and the experience there is much more pleasing. I think skill is playing a very important role here. You need to get it right, right speed, right method and products used as well. Do I recommend Waxing Corner for Brazilian wax? No. Under arm? Still okay.

But overall the experience is not pleasing. I still have sore skin 6 hours after the waxed while in Pink Parlour is just an hour. Pink Parlour also have series of skin care that we can buy and really effective in calming the skin and protecting from ingrown. In Waxing Corner they don't have it for sale, and the product doesn't really works on me since the redness and pain is still there, until I went home and use Kiehl's Superbly Restorative Argan Skin Salve.

I love this product even more now. It's just soothed the skin and I can sleep comfortably at night thanks for it. Yes, the wax somehow made my skin irritated and small movement can leads to more paint, so Kiehl's SRASS help the friction feels a lot less and my skin are not angry anymore. Next time I have a wax, I'll bring it along as well. Now, my skin are happy again, I'll keep using Kiehl's SRASS for a day or two, just to be save ^__^

I've done a review on this product before: http://www.whileyouonearth.blogspot.com/2010/08/some-kiehls.html but I guess I found another good excuse to keep using it and loving it.

Benny & Mice and just Benny

As many of you probably know, I like reading books and less often doing the review unless . . . it's impressive or leave a remarks on me.

Yes, this time it's Benny & Mice, years ago my husband and bro are all reading them, I'm not a big fan when they are together (sorry fans), I like Benny solo.

On top are 2 of Benny & Mice, perhaps it's the topic, but I found Benny's "Para Manula Jalan-jalan Ke Singapura" to be funnier and the accuracy is just spot on.

Here (above and below pics) are some of the samples about Singapore that really represent what's going on there, maybe I miss Singapore or know more about them but it's just hilarious. I also like the page where the maid carry all the stuff for the NF, how some are just exorbitant with the shopping habit, including the branded items (take note, I'm not a fan of the branded items aka bags, they are common, too expensive and heavy!) Yes, you heard me. I like bags for the function, not the tag. You will never caught me queuing to go inside LX or CHXXEL, etc.

Benny also emphasize on the social gap, it's like ALL Indonesian in Singapore are so rich. Well again, maybe I see things the way Benny did, that's why I really like his work, again, it's personal, but for me? Highly recommended and an eye opener @___@

Liquid Neutrogena

Hi all ^___^

New year just come and years passed us by, but still, Neutrogena stays as inside the comfort zone as I rarely find faults in them. So if you're looking for a product that safe, simple, no frills and fuss, but pure function, you'll love Neutrogena.

Me, personally have been using Neutrogena (on and off) for the past 16 years, from the lip balm, rain bath, to facial skin care, yes, they have many and 90% works all the time. Now, I'm passing this legacy to you when you want a skincare that just made for your skin. They have different types for different skin condition yet this one, I can say, is made for ALL skin type.

I really like the golden color and the aroma (rumors told me the new one have no scent at all now), easily lathered for customer's benefit and cleanse the skin well (daily debris only, makeup? Use makeup remover first) without striping it dry. My skin feels soft, clean and smooth afterwards.

I give this product a highly recommended star award ^___--

Garnier Light Overnight Whitening Peeling Cream

Product details from garnier.in:

Why Do I need Garnier Light Overnight peeling fairness cream?

Away from external aggression, night is the ideal time to reinforce whitening action. Light overnight cream has special natural micro peeling fruit extracts that help peel away dark cells and lighten the skin while you sleep
Your day cream should be design for the harsh outdoors. During the day use Light daily moisturiser SPF 15, which provides protection from UVA & UVB rays, and helps prevent appearance of dark spots.

Result:

In the morning, your skin is fresh and fairer.
Skin looks fairer in 28 days, dark spots reduce.

My review:

The thick white cream feels, well, thick and rich as well. The scent if fresh and a bit citrus-ey.

The range itself is made for:

Its unique formular blends a moisturising cream with selected acive ingredients

Pure Lemon Essence & Vitamin C to clarify & smoothen skin . Long Dan extract to help slow down skin darkening . Glycerin to moisturise and comfort the skin. UVA & UVB's to protect the skin from the harmful rays of the sun

So, you do know it's for lightening. Me, myself is not a fan of lightening product since some do cause a reaction which is more damaging than helping my skin. But, I find a way, it's called DON'T OVER DO it.

The peeling itself is okay, but remember you need protection from the sun when the younger skin beneath is exposed. So please do use sun protection during the day.

Now back to product review, I find the cream is helpful for peeling but I'm not recommending you to use it daily, try once a week at first and see what it does to your skin. My skin can not take it daily, twice a week is maximum.

In the morning, like other user have share their thoughts, you'll find dead skin and you can easily clean it up, so please avoid scrub and rubbing it too hard. Use only gentle cleanser and moisturizer with SPF. Last but not least if your face can not take it, use it for your body instead, I love how it help my heels and elbows become softer and smoother too.

Now for the body, I find them okay to be used often, let's say 3-4 times a week ^__^
