Nature Republic Real Nature Rose Mask Sheet

another mask from Nature Republic not to be missed. They have tons of masks, seems like almost all Korean products have a lot of masks. The recent gossip where people put a video footage of a reputable 'L' brand making it's mask unhygienic-ally has reach the surface, hopefully Nature Republic is a safe one.

Many ingredients such as cucumber, green tea, orange and many many more like this Rose are available at their shop made it so difficult for use to choose just one. I choose the rose since it looks pretty :D and rose itself is famous for many beauty properties for the skin from calming to revitalizing.

Rose extracts moisturize and revitalize skin. HOW TO USE: 1. After washing the face, apply toner to prepare the skin for the next step of skin care. 2. Open the pouch, pull out the mask, and place on the face, using the eye area to align correctly. 3. Remove after 10-20 minutes and gently pat for better absorption. CAUTIONS: For external use only.  Avoid contact with eyes.  Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rashes appear.  Keep out of reach of children.

In Korea a bundle pack of ten is sold (during sale) the same price as in one in Indonesia, imagine how cheap they are, and they often have sales, promotion and bonus gifts too, I miss Korea, shopping beauty products there is like having a galore with kilos candies (those candy store sold in kilos) heehee.

It's pretty easy using the mask, just clean the skin, use some toner or facial mist/spray and put it on. The size somewhat fits most face. The white sheet mask will turn into transparent on the skin and the scent of Rose is noticeable from the minute I opened the packaging. There's a lot of liquid on the mask and inside the wrapper, so for sure, within 20 minutes or so, the mask wont dry out, just keep adding the liquid or use the liquid later on like serum.

After 30 minutes, I put the mask off and massage the skin a bit by adding an emulsion to the wet skin. After that, adding a moisturizer and I love how my skin glows in moisture. The skin feels so comfortable, it is ready for the day. When the skin is prep like this, makeup would stick and last better too.

When the temperature is hot outside, cool this masks inside the fridge for at least 1 hour, use it on a cleaned skin and feel the immediate cooling effects and shrink the pores at once. Summer never felt better thanks to this tips.

Nature Republic O2 Bubble Mask Sheet

this is one of the most unique mask I've tried before and I like it. O2 bubble masks usually comes in a pump gel form, this one is in mask sheet. Either way I find them both have their owns benefit. While the pump gel is abundant and we can simply use it anywhere, the mask sheet is simpler for one usage.

Wash-off bubble mask sheet removes impurities from pores and refreshes the skin as abundant fine oxygen bubbles are generated

HOW TO USE:

1.  Before opening the pouch, rub the pouch well to evenly mix the content.

2.  After washing the face, evenly attach the sheet on the dry face while aligning it with the location of the nose and mouth.

3.  After 5-10 minutes when the bubbles are fully generated, remove the sheet.

4.  Gently massage the skin with the remaining bubbles and wash off with lukewarm water

*A little itchy or burning feeling during use is a natural occurrence as bubbles are generated.  If the burning sensation continues, discontinue use and wash off with lukewarm water.

The packaging is like any other mask in terms of size and outer look, but the prints on the packaging looks funny, like bubbles all around and this is actually a literal speak as we will feel like we are using bubbles as mask.

The rest of the packaging in front is black and some details on it, it looks promising. I looked for a clean feeling and a clean pores, oh that would be good, like once in a while, we all want that super detoxing experience where the clean feels super clean and like it breath fresh air once again. So when I applied skincare, they'll absorb easier.

To make sure the mask works well, I cleaned my skin from makeup and use a bit of facial spritz after cleansing, tear the packaging and pull it out. I noticed that there's some leftovers in the wrap, and they are already start bubbling by itself the moment I tear it open.

Immediately I put it on my face, so I wont loose a moment of bubbles.

Within seconds, look at all those bubbles, they are abundant and works it's magic. I don't feel any discomforts, more like pure pleasure, like my face just went in a whirlpool of jet bubbles that calms, cleans, and help micro-circulation.

After 5-10 minutes the bubbles are maximize, it become so full, thick and covered my skin with the bubbles and it's not just from the outer side, inner side too. So it works both ways.

Look at my skin beneath the mask, tiny bubbles are popping, there's this sizzles sounds like when an effervescent  tablets inside a glass of water.

I take off the mask from my skin and squeeze the bubbles from the mask, it is still a lot, and the bubbles is perfect. They are so light, fully fluffed and made by order. It's a perfect specimen how a cleansing bubbles should be.

The skin already have tons of bubbles from the mask and now, I add some more from the leftovers.

They feel so comfortable, super tiny, and feels like they deep clean my pores since they goes into it and removes impurities.

After the experience (rinse everything off), my skin feels so soft, freshly clean and still so much comfortable, this is a really good experience for me, for sure, I'll keep using it and continue trying more O2 bubbles masks in many different forms and brands too.

I sprayed some on my skin too, it helps my dry skin to soothe and the immediate moist effect where the skin glows. After absorbed the skin doesn't feel oily at all, more like comfortable and pleasant.

Since I received the product (Dry Oi), I've been using it diligently and even let my girls using it too. The product comes in this glass bottle and the shade of a gold. The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Exfoliating Cream Body Scrub

showering alone on daily basis sometime is not enough as we need to deep cleanse our skin by scrubbing or exfoliating. Either once a week of perhaps once a month or whenever we like to, scrubbing doesn't just about cleaning the skin but help microcirculation as the beads gently massages the skin and what's beneath them. No wonder many feels calm, relaxed or even overall better after getting a body scrub.

In the Indonesian market right now we are blessed with many choices, we love to scrub from centuries ago known as 'luluran'. Ingredients such as sugar, oats, to nuts and padi are among the naturals. Conveniently a semi natural product also available like the one from The Body Shop.

Inside this pot like container is creamy, very fragrant (with peach aroma), slightly peach in color, rich scrub with noticeable medium size scrub that brings me to joy as it feels good on the skin. You know there's these product with the beads that are just way too small, or too sharp, or to difficult to use since it's like keep dropping off, this product is just right. The cream able to grasp the beads just right and in the right amount, not too much, not too little.

It is suitable to be used on wet or dry skin, so when you want a more intense scrubs, do it on the dry skin, for sensitive skin or when you do it often, do it on a wet skin since it's more slippery and you'll get less scrubs. So the product is pretty much flexible, just use along with ones needs. I personally like doing them both in different mood, and I'm a very moody person.

Do you see how the cream sticks to the skin and no fallout? It's perfect for me. And the scent is just so good, whenever I use them with all the range, the aroma sticks on me the whole day and I just love that! There were even once where I collect almost everything from The Body Shop, so when I'm in the mood of something fruity, I use the fruits ones, or when I want some comfort, I choose Olive, when I want a perfume, I go with Moringa or White Musk, they have everything.

Schwarzkopf Extra Care Hair Total Repair 19 Mask

as someone who loves changing hair color, for sure damage is part of it. As I love colorful hair, I also love to took care of them and make them stronger, healthier, and shinier too.

Masking the hair, conditioning, using serums and leaves in has been my daily routine, so when perhaps others are stopping on shampoo and conditioner, I continue with tonic, hair serum and so on. Using the mask every two days also has become one of my key note as it helps build my hair's strength little by little.

Some of you perhaps wondering, why keep on coloring the hair if it's damaging, the thing is, it is not the coloring, it's the bleaching process, so as long as the bleached has been done, the hair is already ruin and left exposed. Colorant like Manic Panic or Hair Manicure is actually 'treatment' as in sealing in the hair with colors. That's why hair that just been colored feels smoother, softer and shinier, while after a while, those colors wont last (since the bleach damaged the hair and made them fragile and like an open pores) so another coloring process need to be done, hence many people that have colored their hair, must continue to do so using pure acid color. No need to re bleach on each coloring session.

Maintaining the hair on the other hand have to be done continually and non stop. Some hair treatments actually strip colors too, so choose products that really color friendly. In the end, it's kinda a battle between treating the hair of let it be, for me, I think I'm gonna keep using these mask as it helps build the strength of the hair, I might need to recolor faster than it should be, but I'm okay with that.

The product comes in a tube, yellow slightly golden in color and inside, the thick white fragrant cream. It is creamy and rich, pretty much satisfying in terms of texture. I use it on my shampooed and toweled dry hair, using around half the palm for my mid length hair all the way to the ends. Avoiding the roots at all cost as it is made for the hair and not for the scalp.

The rich cream sticks to the hair, it hold on to them and wrap them in moisture. I let them sit there for around 20 minutes, just tied a knot on my hair and continuing my activity at home. It becomes drier, like using a face mask that become more dense, this one too.

Then I rinsed everything off with tepid warm water, the masking has made my hair soft, silky and smooth, I can easily brush my hair afterwards. Drying them using a hairdryer is an experience on it's own, like the heat from the hairdryer intensify the perfume, the hair smells so good. Each strand like coated by the nourishment but without weighting it down, if you feel like your hair becomes limp or lifeless, perhaps it's due to not enough rinsing.

I'm definitely continue to use the mask on regular basis, it helps my hair and helps me de stress too looking at my hair becomes stronger.

So far no cons, so, I definitely recommend the hair mask to just about anyone. Normal hair? Use it like 1-2 a month to maintain the hair condition. Dry hair? 3-4 times a month, and severely damaged hair like me? 2-3 times a week until the condition improved.

LUX Kju Missy Breezy Green Tea Fragrance Shower gel

LUX from Unilever China launch this super cute product in one, it's a shower gel and solid perfume in one. It's a solution for those who wants their scent to last. Remember how we always told to layer the scent to make it goes deeper and of course in the end, they'll last longer? This is the same principal, and using the same scent to shower and then all day long with the perfume balm, we can.

The product comes in a box consist of a bottler with perfume balm as a lid that can be opened and inside there's a pump too, so this could be a two item separately.

The packaging is light green and the scent of this variant is green tea, so they do have other scent like rose.

The green tea reminds me a lot of Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea.

Look at the image below, just twist the cap (perfume balm) open, and put in the pump, it become like any shower gel with pump. And then carry the perfume balm anywhere we please and use it accordingly, simply use the finger and swipe the balm, rub it on the skin directly. Some may suggest to rub it on warm places near the blood circulation while some say to keep it on a cool place so the scent last longer, for me, I use them on places where I can smell them all the time, like on my under my ears and the back of my hands. So I guess, whatever works for you.

The shower gel is thick and lathers well, if it doesn't probably the skin is too dirty, re washed and experience the light bubbles with a soft green tea scent. I thought the scent would be strong but it's not, it's pretty delicate. The clean feeling is refreshing and nice, doesn't make my skin feels dry nor taut. The perfumed shower gel can be used daily or on special occasion. For me, the scent is more suitable as a daily scent, it's green floral and refreshing, it helps boost the mood when we're dull.

The texture of the balm is like any other balm out there, it's like petroleum jelly, so when used too much it will be hard to take by the skin and looks greasy, so use just enough per area. The scent last around a few hours and I can simply rub some more anytime I need the scent to linger on me. For sure, the perfume balm aroma last longer than the shower gel. It's pretty comfortable as the balm is pretty small and I can carry it everywhere.

This duo is a revolution, I'm happy to see how they create this fresh idea, I hope more and more companies develop creativity that would make daily life and chores (showering is a chore for sure) to be more fun, more exciting, and convenient.

OGX Tsubaki Bloom Shampoo

this is another shampoo from OGX, it's their sensually soft tsubaki blossom shampoo. As far as I know, tsubaki is one of the most iconic flower from Japan, alongside with cherry blossom or sakura, tsubaki is known for it's beauty properties. The world may recognize it as camellia.

In Japan, tsubaki oil is used to clean the hair and giving it the nourishment that we need, some even claim that even the oiliness of the oils doesn't make the hair weighted down, limp, nor greasy, but full and bouncy. Recently, I washed my hair diligently using the shampoo. The texture of the shampoo is like usual (typical of OGX shampoo) gel and when the temperature is a bit hot, they'll 'melt' and runnier, and when I brought them during traveling in a cold winter days, they'll jelly-up.

The smell is rather soft, like a delicate floral which I like. I have to wash the hair twice with this shampoo, either I'm too dirty or it's just the magic number for the shampoo. It helps cleans the scalp well and there's this cool refreshing sensation, especially when I leave the shampoo longer. Rinsing them is easy and doesn't have any sticky residue. Since I have very active gland and lifestyle aka clean the home regularly in this super hot temperature of Jakarta, hence I do sweats a lot almost on daily basis hence I wash my hair daily too. I like it! It cleans well, refreshing, and suitable for frequent use thanks to it's lightweight formula.

Is there any other extra benefits? Hmm, not really.

Laneige Essential Balancing Emulsion Moisture

after series of shampoos and hair care products, I'll never forget to review skincare heehee. This is one of the item which I desperately need as my skin is dry and toner, serum, moisturizer alone is not enough, I need something that boost the moisture between the serum and moisturizer, it's the emulsion (thank God for Korean beauty products).

Similar with Japanese product in terms of layering the skin ... oh wait, just remember something, during winter, the principal in Japan of using layering in clothing is the same, instead of putting on 1 thick jacket, it is more effective to do layers.... back to the skin, I think it's similar.

Like the skin wont be able to take much if I spread one thick super rich cream compared to putting on softener or toner, serums, emulsion and then moisturizer, it is much more beneficial as the skin able to absorb better as one light product prepare the other.

Laneige Water Essential Activator is made of Opuntia ficus-Indica Extract, a kind of cactus that’s resistant to dryness, and Arginine, a kind of amino acid.  It keeps skin’s moisture balance and keeps skin moisturized by preventing loss of moisture.

The product comes in a blue pump bottle, a typical sign of a skincare that emphasize in water or moisture. I love that it comes in pump, it is more hygienic and helps making sure we don't waste the product such as on jars. Hopefully they don't put much preservatives in there.

Hmm, based on the ingredients, there still ingredients such as glycerin and silicone (dimethiconol), so for those allergic to these ingredients may experience some discomfort. Like there's no one perfect formula for everyone, there's no one ultimate holy grail skincare as well, all have flaws, the key is to find the best one that fits you.

So far, Laneige haven't fail to please me, they are not perfect, indeed, but pretty good. I never experience discomfort nor visible allergic reaction using their products, finger crossed, they keep improving to getting better and safer plus more effective ingredients.

Like mentioned above, I use the emulsion between serum and moisturizer on daily basis, the product has shown good results in keeping my skin moist without the greasy nor oily effects. It helps my skin to look and appear better. Layering seems to be working well for me. Simply by adding one at a time start after cleansing the skin, toning or using a face mist, serum ( any serum according to my skin needs from aging to vit c or even hdyrating ), and then this emulsion and then moisturizer. And so far, Laneige Essential Balancing Emulsion Moisture works well with any other product I have at home, from many other brands and variants.

The white creamy gel melts on the touch of the skin, it's cooling (not minty) and feels good. It helps keeping the skin moist longer, I can feel the difference between using it in my routine or when not. The scent is there but not overwhelming and doesn't bother me, I didn't love it but I'm not hating it too. It's something that just passes me by.

I use the product around a pump, it is usually enough for my face and a bit on my neck, when I feel like splurging, two pumps will fills me in until the whole neck.

Overall, it's a great product, especially for those with dry skin or loves traveling, somehow during traveling my skin becomes drier due to the schedule or perhaps when in the flights, long haul flights depleted my skin's moisture in a far worst way possible, I remember having to force myself using face mask so my skin wont break, the dryness can be unbearable, and having face mist can be a savior. Spraying them every hour helps me, and my breathing too. So carrying a lotion insight a flight is always a good idea, if not, try to pamper the skin as best as possible before and after, like using this emulsion as an addition to the skincare routine instead of just toner, serum, and moisturizer.

Rejoice Micellar Shampoo & Conditioner Smooth Silky

recently I've review a new shampoo and conditioner from Rejoice China that made me a believer into a micellar shampoo as one of the best thing that ever happen to me. My hair, especially the scalp are loving it. The best part of using this micellar shampoo is the super fresh clean breathable feeling that last.

First, let's start by remembering what's this micellar shampoo is all about from my previous post, the news is pretty much similar, just in case you feel reluctant to open an old tab:

This micellar technology is helps to remove any gunk or product buildup that inevitably builds up on the scalp without harming your haircolor or the integrity of your hair.

What Is Micellar Shampoo?

Micellar shampoos offer a new type of hair cleansing experience that gently washes away dirt, grit, pollution, product build-up and excess oils. Safe for color-treated hair, these mild shampoos are formulated without sulfates or silicones to give you bouncy, fresh hair without drying out your strands.

How Does Micellar Shampoo Work?

Micellar technology uses surfactants (fancy word for cleansing agents) that have both water-loving and oil-loving properties called micelles. These two parts help the molecules in your shampoo to attach to oil and dirt particles in your hair, which makes it easier to wash away. In short, the micelles are helping to get your hair as clean as possible without being too aggressive on your hair. Think of them as a magnet: they help draw out impurities like dirt, oil and environmental pollutants without being too harsh on your hair.

And I want to add one more thing, this thing is even safer and better for kids than most products sold in the market.

And here it is, the shampoo and conditioner comes in similar packaging than before, but this one is pink and there's pink floral. For sure, inside the scent is like a sweet pink flowers during summer, the smell is feminine and lovely, I like it.

Regarding the function, it works well just like the Fresh variant with different scent. For me, apart from the scent, I'm not really feeling nor noticing anything different. It was said to be the smooth silky version, but it's the same for me.

The freshness is similar, the breathable and happy scalp is the same, it's there, the airy and weightless hair, the conditioner too, so light and perfect for normal hair...not really for the severely damaged one (like mine).

Regarding texture, the micellar shampoo is like any other, gel, pinkish gel that lathers on easily on wet hair and foamed up nicely. The white creamy conditioner conditioned the hair without making it greasy nor oily, it's rather too light for me, but those who prefer a daily conditioner can use it without feeling uncomfortable.

Overall,

a great shampoo that deserve to make a highlight, cleans super duper well without silicone that clogged the scalp and no sulphate that too harsh for the hair and known to make colored hair fade faster. Love it to the max! And these babies are cheap too, hooray!!
