Mon Guerlain, the House's new fragrance, is a tribute to today’s femininity -
a strong, free and sensual femininity, as inspired by Angelina Jolie.
My invisible tattoo, my fragrance, Mon Guerlain.
The fresh oriental fragrance enhances exceptional raw materials: Carla Lavender from Provence, Sambac Jasmine from India, Album Sandalwood from Australia and Vanilla Tahitensis from Papua New Guinea. Mon Guerlain expresses the quintessence of a story replete with experiences, nourished by success, expertise and generosity, all infused with the same passion since 1828 by the Guerlain perfumer.
Your fragrance Mon Guerlain in its “quadrilobe” bottle : created in 1908, the bottle established itself as one of Guerlain’s iconic bottles. Simple and graphic, it echoes an alchemist’s bottle and owes its name to its stopper, which is crafted from one piece to obtain a shape resembling four lobes. A century later, beautifully enhanced by a luxurious glass weight and a golden adornment, this bottle offers a contrast between strong taut lines and sensual curves, expressing contemporary femininity.

Perfumer secrets
For five generations, the Guerlain perfumer has explored the planet in search of precious raw materials. Behind all Guerlain creations, there are amazing people who cultivate, extract and distill. The emotions shared and experienced – from the field to the laboratory – become the notes of our new women's perfume Mon Guerlain, a concentration of real human relationships and authentic know-how.-*-
The shape of the bottle, the stopper.
This quadrilobe bottle was dreamt up by Gabriel Guerlain and crafted by Baccarat in 1908. It is the showcase of legendary fragrances. Year after year, it has earned its position as one of the iconic bottles of Guerlain, inspiring numerous artists and designers who reinterpret it with each of their creations.
Understated, simple and graphic, it recalls an alchemist's bottle and owes its name of "quadrilobe" to its stopper, which is formed from a solid piece to obtain a shape resembling four lobes.
Today, it encases Mon Guerlain, the new fragrance that pays homage to contemporary feminity by uniting the contrast expressed bu the strength of taut lines and the sensuality of curves, evoking a strong, free and sensual femininity.

For me, perfume is something that speaks personally. It has the ability to create a persona about someone, embodied, or fulfilling ones as an extension of their aura.
Let's start from the beautiful bottle.
As mentioned above, the shape that is unique, from the top all the way to the bottom. It looks exclusive, feminine, but have strength at the same time. Clear with golden rings never look so good with the soft pink transparent liquid inside. I felt the dynamical side of the perfume, it's current but in the same time it made history last.

Sprayed the Eau de Parfum directly to the skin where it made a great collaboration with myself.
There's a lot of theory lately on how and where to spray a perfume, is it on the skin or on to the clothing, for me it's personal options. Using a perfume on the skin directly means intensifying, as the body permeate heats, the perfume will work on that and you'll become one, like a walking diffuser that made everything surrounds you feel the aroma. But as we know, heat made the aroma evaporate faster then when sprayed on cool material like clothing. So again, it's personal, as for me, I prefer spraying them lightly on my skin after shower and on the clothing during touch ups.
As the perfume is EDP, it last around 4-6 hours.

At first spray, it gives an uplifting strong floral aroma. Notes for someone who is strong and vulnerable at the same time. It lingers, between each ingredients. Carla Lavender, Vanilla, Sambac Jasmine, Birch Essence and Leather where Guerlain made some personal journeys to those who presented the raw ingredients. Know and learn how they are grown or extracted. This perfume, with its rich history, has become a blend that developed in harmony. I feel my self being more and more comfortable with the scent, it's somehow encouraging me to stay up front, to face difficulties in life with grace and still being passionate enough to go though the emotions. Scent has never been 'just' a scent for me, it's an extension of my being.
Life is indeed a journey, something we're going up sometime we're going down, when I want to held my head up and become free with myself, this is a perfume I want to be with, a scent that embrace confident, triumph, deep thoughts and freedom to be a woman that believe in oneself.

Thank you Guerlain.
