Natural Honey Pure Honey Lotion and Body Serum

Hello lovelies,

some time ago, some lotions was sent to me, they are Natural Honey in several variants. Firm and Youthful, Antioxidant, Pure White (with SPF 30 PA ++), Moisture Rich and their Body Serum Firm and Stretch Mark Care.

The first lotion that I try (or have to try, since my daughter opened and spill almost the whole bottle on our bed) is Pure White. Since it contain SPF 30 PA++ for sure it was made to protect the skin from UV. The texture is a bit chalky when applied, like most product made with sun protection and it does give the skin a minor white cast and glow like radiant. The scent is fragrant and slightly fruity. It can be used as a daily lotion that also protect the skin from sun rays. Usually for the skin that was exposed, like hands and legs.

It is comfortable, not sticky nor greasy, I think the lotion is pretty nice and budget friendly too.

Smells a bit like sweet citrus, comfortable and not sticky too. I don't experience any firming action, but light hydration effect for sure.  I can use it for my body day and night with this variant. It absorb pretty fast hence there's no need to be massaged.

But for those with very dry skin, Natural Honey recommend the one with Olive.

This one is probably the richest but still leaves the skin a velvety effect and no grease. I don't really like the scent but the silky feeling is wonderful. Like my skin becomes so soft and smooth instantly. Those with very dry skin or perhaps for areas such as heels and elbows could use this lotion.

I thought it will have a citrus scent since it has orange in it, but it's not. I wish it has a lovely fresh scent, instead it was something that a bit too cosmetic. The texture is similar to Firm & Youthful, easy to absorb and pleasant on the skin.

The product comes in tube container, richest as in the thicker and creamiest texture compared to the lotion but still turns into watery lotion when applied to the skin. Like it melts. It has a fresh floral aroma, actually it was very fragrant, a bit too fragrant perhaps almost like a perfumed body lotion.

Also not greasy nor sticky on the skin and absorbs easily. I can't say much about the effect against stretch mark since I didn't see any significant effect on the deep marks, but the skin does have a slight firming effects, like it become a bit more tighter. It also gives the skin a mild radiant glow.

Overall, all of the lotions and body serum comes in a white color, light to creamy lotion texture, doesn't felt greasy nor sticky with slightly different effects one to the other. One particular side that everyone definitely noticed is they are different in scent. My favorite is Firm and Youthful for sure with Moisture Rich to be the least and their Body Serum is too much (in terms of scent).

Yet still, these budget friendly lotion is comfortable to be used and anyone could easily pick one of the scent that they like. One more thing, In the ingredients it still has mineral oil and alcohol.

Speedy Perfect Whip

Hello lovelies,

those whose been to Japan (or perhaps Singapore) or been reading posts from bloggers that loves Japanese products must have know Speedy Perfect foaming facial wash, I did my share and have it reviewed too and now, it comes in a formula that even easier than before, in a liquid that when put into their container will automatically becomes that perfect foam.

Toss away those nets and just pump some beautiful ready to be used foam, I normally use two pumps for my face and neck. It cleanse well like the their tube formula (after being foamed up) and keep the skin moist as well. I love as the foam feels ticklish, since it is tiny and when left on the skin for a while, I can silently hear they are popping.

The skin feels clean yet still silky, it's something that perhaps made everyone fell in love using the product. However, when using waterproof makeup, do remove them well with a cleansing oil first, and then use Speedy Perfect Whip as the double cleanser. It removes leftovers from the makeup remover too, so no more pesky oily residue.

I'm using the cleanser on daily basis and even let the whole family use the foam. It is pretty gentle and suitable, even for kids. It has a mild floral scent, white and fluffy. Test the density of the foam by putting it up side down on the palm, it'll stay.

Massage the foam on a wet skin, it cleanse and the first thing you'll notice is how silky the skin is when using the product, no taut nor tight feeling is felt. Squeaky clean is only good for the floors and not for the skin.

As written above, their main focus is hydrate, hydrate and hydrate the hair. It was perfect for dry hair as it quench it thirst and the amazing coconut scent is sublime and unique. I really like their products mainly because of the scent :D but of course it is paraben free too but not yet SLS free.

Maybe their variant for the colored hair is SLS free as SLS does made the color runs faster.

Now, about the packaging, it's blue and speaks 'water' as in hydration as much as possible. And the product inside comes in white creamy gel (for the shampoo) and white creamy lotion (for the conditioner).

The shampoo lathers easily and gives tons of foam (based on the ingredients, of course it will) and it does clean the hair in a way and the scalp too, but I still prefer other shampoo for the scalp, so I'm using my shampoo bar for the scalp and this one for the hair as it made them tangle free.

The coconut scent is more musk in the shampoo and the conditioner has more floral compared to the shampoo, so in a way it was more fragrant. The conditioner is rich but light at the same time. It made my hair soft and smooth. Those with very damaged hair after bleach and numerous coloring will experience the instant effect from using this duo shampoo and conditioner, the 'lion-like mane' will become human hair again. The coarse parts seems healthy again, shines and silky, a different sight for sure.

The aroma last the whole day, so if you're not a fan of coconut will definitely hate it, like my husband, but I love it, it reminds me of a day at the beach, getting a much needed vacay.

Bathox Aromatherapy Pure Lavender & Chamomile Oil

I love soaking in a bath tub, for me it's like the perfect way to wash away the stress, added a few more aromatherapy candles, bath fizzes and when the combination is right, it's like sublime.

When I want a more smoother skin that make the skin glisten. I add a bit of body oil in the water, but don't mixed it, as oils sometimes made the bubble less bubbly.

This is my first time trying Bathox and I have high expectation for the aromatherapy as it is written clearly on the bottle. Little that I know, the scent is very mild, like too mild to my favorite.

The bubbles at the other hand is abundant, it's luxurious, smooth and can be used as a shower gel too, perhaps, better as a shower gel as the aroma is more 'felt' or noticeable compared to when bathing in one.

Perhaps, I'm the kind of person that prefer stronger scent or perhaps it's this one that too faint, either way, I did add a bit more lavender essential oils to my bath mix for a more relaxing effects.

Overall,

wonderful product that did moisturize the skin and nourished while cleansing, so the skin doesn't feels dry after bathing or showering, Bubbles up real good but doesn't really "aromatherapy" for me.

Masque Maison

After more than a month trying products from Masque Maison, consist of several masks, scrub, toner and essence, finally I can share my review for them.

The first thing I noticed is the smell. If you've been reading reviews on these kind of masks, then you'll definitely know that many reviewers are talking about the smells that like cheese or fermented casava (or tape in Bahasa).

And these jars of 6 comes in slightly different formula, one with charcoal, scrub, green tea, lavender and chocolate - like.

The first thing I've tried is the one that perhaps considered as 'original'.

The natural masque are said to help 'detoxing' the skin and later on revealing a much more smoother, soft, and brighter looking skin. But the process consist of purging to acne. There's various reaction to even redness and itchy sensation.

I must say, I'm not enjoying the process to the least possible way, it was very itchy at first (any variant there is), so I suggest to use the product as it is:

Clean the skin thoroughly and use the toner provided. Use the mask on the skin but for the first use, no need to bear until it was completely dry, wait for until you can't take it anymore and cleaned them thoroughly, apply hydrating toner and moisturizer afterwards.

On the next day, add a bit more time and so on. So let's say on the first day you could only last 5 minutes with the mask, it's okay, on the next day try to stay until 7 minutes, and then on the next day 10 minutes, and so on, until one day, the skin can stands until it is dry.

This method helps me a lot as my sensitive skin gradually able to use the mask until it is dry. And I only have minor problems with purging and acne, cleaning the mask thoroughly after each use help the purging and acne to be less problematic.

And I do experimenting with the product, as it has different function according to each 'added' ingredients and I can simply use it as I please on each areas.

After a while, the skin will get use to the formula and the smell doesn't really bothers me after the first week went off.

Here are the up close look of the formula and as seen, they look slightly different one to the other. The scrub is mild and comfortable for the body, it does gives me itchy feeling too at first. But for those with very dull skin should be able to see the differences from the first week. As for me, I can't really see much of a differences after 4 weeks, like I haven't deal with acne nor purging, I always have smooth skin, so in the end, the product just gave me purging and acne for no reasons.

It does give me a slight brightening effect and a more even skin tone, but not really visible enough when I took some pictures.

In the end, these kind of products suits those who wants natural ingredients only and perhaps has been looking for products that is hand made and perhaps home made too. Can stand the 'detoxing' period and able to keep the mask in the fridge at all times. Because the product is 'freshly made' keeping them in the cool and dry place is a must.

B&Soap Fun Block Shampoo Bar

I'm back with another product from B&Soap for their wonderful shampoo bar.

This one is yellow and it has lemon inside, hence the smell is citrus and fresh. I love using it as it made my scalp feels so fresh, the hair does become stiff and the volume is just doubled.

Easy to be lathered on wet hair and I continually add more water for it to bubbled up. I prefer made some lathers first on a bowl  like container and then use that soapy water on my hair. When I rub the bar on the hair, it tends to make the hair tangled here and there.

Using a hair mask or conditioner on the hair (not scalp) is really important after the shampoo time is finished as my hair is super dry and damaged. Without conditioner or hair mask, my hair would stuck and be so difficult to be brushed.

Anyone who have scalp problem should try fun block, I also recommend this shampoo bar for those who use cap on daily basis or have oily scalp problem. Those whose hair gets easily dirty, sweaty, and even smelly. They will experience the most from the first use, the scalp will feel so clean and without making them dry, fresh and smells citrus-ey good too.

I know that this kind of shampoo helps detoxing the scalp and hair too from buildable products. So don't be surprise to see and feel your hair natural texture, it might not be as smooth and filled with silicone anymore but rest assure, they can breath better, and in the end, it helps the hair and scalp to becomes healthy and of course, the growth are well maintained too.

During the event, for sure the first thing I do is trying all the lippies and yes, they are all new, no one use it and all in perfect shape.

My favorite is M501, Plum Violet, I couldn't get my hands off it, I know I want to try other colors but I have this one the longest.

It is matte (M means Matte) and super pigmented, rather dry a bit and stays on the lips really well. As long as I don't eat something oily.

The creams has many shades, like more than 30 and they are gorgeous.

Look at me with C104 Praline Beige. The nude is perfect for me as it gives me a hint of subtle peach, somehow it made my skin appear brighter.

Below is me using C 506 Dark Purple, and I love it, it still have slight reddish hue on my lips and I look so good in it. The shade made my skin super fair and the texture is just superb. I love how smooth it is and intense. Oh never get it swiped off without a proper cleanser or you'll ended up getting the worst smudge ever, like having bruises all over your mouth.

Treat them well and this unbeatable gorgeous color is yours.

C 502 Taupe Violet, it's so bright and vivid. It's not something that I can use everyday, but the color is still so gorgeous, unique and rocks!

C 603 Midnight Blue, this one is the talk of the town, definitely!

It's limited edition, superb and yes, the pigment is like all there. I know that it supposed to be weird, but it's not and looks pretty. Almost everyone is intrigued by color and using it during the event.

Curel Intensive Moisture Cream

this is Curel Intensive Moisture Cream, a moisturizing cream that I have been using since my husband brought them from Japan. Since autumn is in the season, products that promote moisture, hydration and anything in between is on the rise. They are preparing for winter and it is very dry during that particular climate, the skin will need something more than regular moisturizer. Hence, if you're looking for products to be used in Indonesia when you're traveling, do get them during summer. The cosmetics will be made according to that season.

Curel is a brand from Kao, a huge company that produce a lot of products.

The Ceramide functioning ingredient and Eucalyptus extract penetrate deeply into the stratum corneum so skin stays soft, deeply moisturized and resistant to external irritation. It helps to improve your skin's natural barrier function, soothe and protect skin from dryness. Intensely moisturizing yet it feels airy-light on skin.

Curel Intrensive Moisture Cream is simple and made as it is. A barrier for the skin against dryness. The texture is cream, thick and rich, but somehow, when used, it felt velvety and 'dries' instantly, like somehow it looses it's 'wetness'. And like a time released particles, at first it felt dry on the skin, almost like a powdery dry, and then gradually the particles are like melting on the skin, keeping them moist for more than 12 hours. I really enjoy using the cream as it made my skin stays moist until my next shower time and all the way from afternoon to sleeping time and then waking up with my skin feels plump and moist, like none of the moisture evaporate during sleep. My skin doesn't looks tired yet radiant.

I will definitely keep using the cream on daily basis, I'm using it as my sleeping mask and whenever I'm not reviewing, if you read my previous post then you'll notice that I've been using the night cream from BSKIN on alternate days, and this is the one I'm using when I'm not using BSKIN night cream.

Definitely suitable for traveling to a dry climates country and continue using it as long as my skin needs it.
