Wow! No wonder my skin always feel so dry, the products I've been using all this time probably only work on the upper layer of the epidermis. And I do want those firming action from within as well. I dislike these laughing lines that appears deeper now since the cheeks are taking its gravity. Age spots? Yes! I want to see my skin spot free.

How to use:

A full pump unto your palm and gently spread over your cleansed face in an upward circular motion. For morning and night use. Suitable for daily use. Essential for normal to dry and all skin types.

I'm using mine after cleansing and toner, then after applying the serum, I use a moisturizer that promote hydration.

As it is suitable for dry skin (hooray!) I have no doubt in using it daily. So far, I can feel that the skin become softer overall. In terms of hydration, it is very good, I'm just using a normal moisturizer that usually doesn't work very well, I still feel that some areas are very dry, like on my upper cheeks, now, this 'normal moisturizer' is enough, thanks to the serum applied before. The Age Prevento Serum itself is very light, fragrant, comfortable to be used, very light, it absorbed by the skin almost instantly, and it within 1-2 days of usage, it gives the skin that healthy glow. Like I just slept 8 hours straight (which clearly not).

This product comes in a pumped bottle, another love from me, because it makes whats inside fresh on each application, hygienic and prevent oxidation.

For ingredients, please look at the image above. And yes, it contains fragrance, for those who are a bit scared of fragrance, I know this fact from one skin expert that, a fragrance (in the right dose and ingredients) is actually safe for the skin, as long as there is minimal or none oxidation happens along the way.

Look at that! It's the clear, thin, beautiful gel that makes my skin (therefor I am) happy. I've been using it as a day serum nowadays and as the night serum, is the product below.

To avoid premature aging of your skin, it is essential to maintain an exfoliated condition in achieving an improved skin texture. When you remove dead tissue on the surface of your skin during exfoliation, it helps to minimize your pores as they seem smaller because this process removes the keratinized skin around the edges of your pores. Yikes! Exfoliating, I still not a fan of that word, it has been a nightmare for me, exfoliating usually comes with pain, discomfort, irritated skin, redness, and worst ... prolonged problems at the area affected. So, when I was 18- late 20's, I always avoid everything that exfoliate the skin as much as possible. Oh I do microdermabration, laser, scrub, peeling, etc, it's just not daily, nor weekly, it was not even monthly, it was more like 3 times a year thanks to my sensitive skin.

But now, since I'm in the mid 30's, I do noticed that when I don't exfoliate for 2 weeks, there are areas that feels dry and not comfortable as in, sensitive. Also, when I'm applying makeup, it cracked easier and dead cells start rolling off. I thought my dry skin has become worst, so I use more products that promote hydration but none works, until I found out that my skin (that are still alive and well) actually buried under this keratinized skin above.

Now, I do understand that I need exfoliating product, but daily?! I do have my doubts before putting the serum on for daily usage, but I give it a shot, and so far, it's been very good. No flaky skin, no redness, no discomfort, no sensitivity coming on, although during the first usage there's a mild warmth felt, nevertheless, overall, it's an experience I would like to keep repeating.

Apply 2 full pump evenly over cleansed face and neck. Avoid eyes area. For daily night use only. Due to the sun sensitivity in AHA elements, it is recommended to use sunscreen when you are out in the day. Suitable for all skin types.

As most exfoliating products, this serum also advices to use a sunscreen during day time. As exfoliating process keep continue even thou the product was used on nightly basis.

And same goes with Age Prevento Serum, I also use it on a clean skin, after toner and after the serum is applied, I'm using a simple moisturizer that only promote hydration.

The serum also clears, very light and watery gel, and as seen on the ingredient list, there's no fragrance, hence the not-my-favorite scent comes from. No worries, the smell goes away in a matter of seconds.

Conclusion,

Both serums is very light in terms of texture but very effective and the skin noticeably looks better in a matter of days. I love both of them and will keep using both of them or perhaps the Age Prevento Serum daily and the Skin Renewal Serum 3 times a week (but so far, I'm still using it every night). One smells a lot better than the other, suitable for dry and sensitive skin like mine, but also wonderful for all skin type.

I think since it is made for the 'aging' skin, this serums is more suitable for those above 25, but for mid 30's like me this product would be like so needed and in my must have collections.

What I can see on my skin as I have been using them for a couple of days are: no signs of over exfoliating, no signs of dryness, no signs of accumulating dead skin cells (so using makeup have not met any problems like before), the skin appears to be more hydrated, more radiant, there's this healthy glow, not oily, not greasy, but I haven't see any visible result with deep lines, for fine lines, they appear more relaxed and those large pores seems reduced as well.

Overall, will definitely keep on using them.

These babies are from AYou Beauty. They has successfully bring so many Japanese products into our lives ^__^. Their products are cute, adorable and really pretty as well.

The first thing is the diamond eyelash, whoot! I really like this lashes since it's only 3/4 way through, so no need cutting and adjusting the lashes also so easy, since it is quite firm at the roots. The blings are adorable, made my eyes flirt by itself in every blink.

Lucky Trendy itself has been around for decades and well known in Japan (and now throughout the world) for making and distributing cosmetics goods. Their variation are getting more and more each month.

The lashes made my eyes bigger as well.

Inside the box comes the glue as well, but unfortunately, mine is already dried up.

After usage, peel them gently so they can be re-use many time.

Now, here comes the brushes, they are super cute, I really like the white brushes like these and they feel soft on the skin. The hair bundled firmly so there's no fall out (in both brushes on this post) during usage.

The slide lip brush is like a pen, when the top is put as a bottom the brush will come up, and when top on the bottom is pulled out the brush will go inside and closed nicely with the top for hygienic purpose. I do recommend cleaning the brush after each use so there wont be a mess inside the top (lid).

This is a cheek brush, it is made for putting on powdered blush on. The round shape made it easier for application, so the apples are 'colored' nicely.

So pretty ^__^

On the packaging also carries the plastic cover to keep the brushes clean and away from dust.

Cleaning these brushes also very easy as the white hairs are vivid, so there's no room for makeup to hide.

I'm back with more products from Otsuka Group, the company that provide skin supplements in fruity variants. I've review the Collagen C Jelly, the product that has made my skin firmer and look younger in just a month, now, I'm trying their Placenta C Jelly.

Whattt?!!! Pig placenta?! Apparently it is, I can see you're being squeamish as reading this, so did I when I first found out, so if you're not into pig (or placenta, yikes) you can just consume the Collagen C Jelly since it's from fish.

Since it's only 7 days, I wont be able to review as much as when I'm trying the one month pack. All I can feel is the vitamin C that kept my mouth and lips free from ulcer, the tasty and juicy flavor of mango, the firmer jelly compared to Collagen C Jelly, the healthier me thanks to the other extract (not placenta ^__^) and the easy to eat and digest form of a supplement (just tear the packaging and goes into the mouth, yums).

Cherrybelle Cosmetics by Cow Style

from the recent beauty Blogger Meet Up event (organized by me and my friends), Kawaii Beauty Japan is one of the company collaborating with us. With them the brand Cow Style also participating in presenting the goody bags filled with the collection of Cherrybelle.

Inside there are foaming facial wash, body shampoo soap, and bar soaps.

The first thing I've tried is the liquid body wash. A pretty pouch with Cherrybelle special editions, inside is the thick lather of creamy liquid soap that smells something like fruity floral. I can't seem to figure it out the scent but one thing for sure, it smells pretty.

The foam created by the product is abundant, without using any sponge there are already so much, with the usage of a sponge, I can have more bubbles and I really like the softness of the foam created as well.

After the wash the skin feels so clean but I need a body lotion since the skin feel slightly dry. The scent last around 15-20 minutes after the shower.

The theme Cherrybelle resemble the girl band cheerfulness, cute and happy.

The pamphlet provided also filled with the images of the girls with the products.

The Cherrybelle soap is in bars and the body soap is in liquid form.

About Cow Style.

In each packaging the details are given, how to use it, composition and a bit more information regarding the method of saponification.

The white soap bar is flowery fragrant, delicate and cleanse well.

Then the foaming facial wash, by using a foam net, it is able to create a lot of perfect foams. Dense, rich and comfortable to be used. Those tiny bubbles are the ones that do the job, so when using foaming facial wash, work it through before applying to the face.

Foaming facial wash is suitable for those with dry skin type, the idea is to clean the skin according to your skin's condition, if you're oily, a cleansing oil is much better since the oils will integrated and clean the ones on your skin.

The Bath Box Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal

Hello all,

Goats Don't Lie Oatmeal is another product from The Bath Box.

It contains natural oatmeals on the bar, when used I can feel them scrubbing the skin nicely, it's like a scrub and soap in one.

The only thing is that the size is rather big, or my hands the one that too small, so I have to hold it well so it didn't fall.

Now, I've checked their instagram account and found out that they have so many items, their really like that UK brand I really love (but cost so much), they has literally gives us (local) better option with far better price. Fresher (made daily) and accordingly. I got mine from @aischatz, check her out on ig as well.

Now, back to the soap. It doesn't lather as much as conventional mass produced soaps in the market but it still give me enough lathering effect. It cleans the skin nicely and again, those oats are adorable. It's like helping the blood circulation in the skin, once done, I fell fresh, clean, but without those dry spell that other soap gives.

Regarding the smell, it is quite faint, at first it was like a soft caramel, then it's like almost nothing (blame me for having too much perfume everyday), but nevertheless is the wonderful effect on the skin which I think the main idea of this soap.

Oh, if you're wondering why they have it "Goats don't lie", perhaps due to the fact that it contains goats milk. Benefit? It can help those (ehm me) with psoriasis. A skin condition that looks like having a scar but mostly because of dryness.

The Body Shop Blueberry Shower Gel

heehee, I guess it would be soap, soap, soap, on tonight's posts. I don't know why, but I'm so into soaps even thou I have my share until next year ^___^ I even get myself those jumbo sizes shower gels from The Body Shop.

The thing is, I don't like having the same soap every day, it's too boring, so 3-4 soaps inside the shower room is normal. So I can keep on changing according to my mood.

One product that is definitely a mood booster, the Blueberry Shower Gel by The Body Shop.

It's a simple product, a shower gel with blueberries.

As usual, The Body Shop have a lot of series of fruits and other solo ingredients as the highlight. The shower gel of the blueberries smells like blueberry syrup. The gel is a clear slightly blue colored and lathers easily on the skin or sponge.

When used the whole shower smells so good and fruity thanks to the shower gel. The whole family seems to be a fan now due to the juicy blueberry scent.

Unfortunately, the product still contain sls, which is known to be able to irritate the skin in the long run.

The Soap Corner Unscented Castile Liquid Soap and Sandalwood Vanilla Soap Bar

I'm back with more review for The Soap Corner.

As perhaps you already knew that The Soap Corner is a soap producer with no paraben, sls nor any harsh chemical inside their products. They also launch a liquid soap that contain no scent or unscented. This is suitable for those looking for a soap that is even more gentle.

The handmade olive oil soap.

The soap cleans well and gives the skin that squeaky feeling cleanliness when rinse but after drying them up using a cloth the skin remains moist and for me, a hardworking mom, I really need a cleanser that do the job well without any risk in breaking my skin off due to the dryness.

My hands are the one that suffer the most, I wash them like 20 times a day and adding washing the dishes, and other household chores, dry hands become inevitable. So I started using Castile Liquid Soap when I need to handle some babies related matters, etc and I'm noticing that my hands aren't so dry anymore. It helps a lot in terms of keeping them well.

I still doing the household chores but Castile Liquid Soap help giving the skin a good hydrating effect while keeping them clean.

Same goes with the body, it lathers well and cleans the skin nicely without drying effect. I think in the long run this olive oil base soap can help as an anti aging properties.

Next in line is the Sandalwood Vanilla, a bar soap with twirling colorful pattern on the bar. This is also a gentle soap (but the olive oil based is gentler of course) to be used on the body. The Sandalwood Vanilla is soft and not very vivid for me. Again, you can simply request if you need a string scented soap from The Soap Corner.

The bar soap is great for traveling as they don't have a chance to spill and ruin everything in the suitcase #Truestory.

All the information provided on the packaging is enough and convincing, so I did my share and try it. My first impression is the tip. Look at that!

It is so flexible and I must say, as an eyeliner, it felt so comfortable to be used #kickingthosesharppencils. I really impressed on their ideas in making this AccuFlex. Oh yes, I'm actually a big fan of Benefit since they are first arrived in Singapore back then when I'm still living there. I love the names of the products, the cuteness, wittiness, and so lady like at the same time. I meant lady in the 50's whose like doing pin ups, so perky and gazilion miles away from boring.

Now, back to the product, look at the details of the tip, it's not like any other eyeliner, no brush, just that rubbery like edge with tiny hole in the middle for the eyeliner to come up. And almost every time I want to use it, I pre-clean the tip, as it is waterproof, the product will harden and we need the fresh one to come out without anything blocking its way.

I usually use a tissue and pressing here and there making sure the inside also clean, and again, look how flexible it is  ^__^

After a few twist on the end part of the pen, the fresh liner comes out, here's how it is. It's not as 'liquid' as a liquid eyeliner, it's not as 'creamy' as an eyeliners in pots, it's like as 'crayony' as crayon eyeliner does, and not as dry as pencil eyeliner is. To be precised it is more like a liquid crayon....does it make any sense? But it is. The gel is just like that, and it dries up almost instantly, which make using They're Real! Push-Up Liner so wonderful, no fan, no holding the eyes in the weird position so we wont blink is needed.

And does it waterproof?

Yup, it is. The lines are made to stay. Once set it set pretty well. It is also smudge resistant, suitable for long wear and does feel suitable for those areas on the lashes, I do meant directly on the lashes.

But, still, a product has its limit, if you're someone like me, very active, in terms of activity and very active glands ....ehm sweat gland near the area where the liners are, it does become flaky and comes off when the sweats and oils join forces in fighting the gel. So I'm probably those 9 percent of people who disagree in long wearing.

Nevertheless, if you're a fine gal, who sweat less than me, or have non oily lids or perhaps less oily lids than me, you should be very happy, as this is would be that perfect product for you. Am I refusing to use it again? Nope! It is still one of the best thing I ever try and will keep on using it as it does have a resistant power which are better than many other brand.

Tips: If you happen to have a sweaty oily lids like mine, no worries, here's a thing that you can do, before applying the eyeliner, dust just a bit of loose powder or fine baby powder on the lids, just a sprinkle dust will do, you can use cotton but for precision. Remove the excess using a very fine brush.

Those dust powder will help absorbing the sweat and oils so the liners can stay on longer. Do be careful in dusting, as it is so close to the eyes. And don't use to much as you never want those gel to become a chunk-like consistency on your lids.

a great product not to be missed.

today I was invited to an event by Luxasia. It was an event for Narciso, a new fragrance by Narciso Rodriguez.

Why is it named that way and for what purpose.

This whats make a perfume personal, for me it's more than just aroma.

This is Ms. Karen, presenting Narciso Eau de Parfum to all of the guests attending. Behind her is a video that shows everything in the making of the perfume, the ad, the lady and how Narciso describe the perfume and the name.

Narciso is the name of a Greek myth, Narcissus, with many romantic narrative suggested by it.

And here's why.

I think this perfume would be a great addition that fills the gap that has been missing all these time. A perfume for woman who are confident in her own seductive ways, where her presence has made a statement.
