Econeco Little Twin Star Compact Powder

Let's go back to reality after a good holiday, shall we?!

From my previous vacay, I have met this cute product from Econeco. For those who haven't heard about Econeco, they are a brand from Japan that produce cute stuff. Colors like baby pink, baby blue, baby yellow and white are mixed together to create creative thingy that made you wanna spend money on them.

Now, they are collaborating with Sanrio, especially Kiki and Lala from Little Twin Star and produce this compact powder, they also have BB Cream with the similar design.

Both the BB Cream and Compact Powder only come in two shade, this is so typical of a Japanese brand where the base are only divided into fair or natural, the natural one fits almost everybody since it is transparent and nude while the fair one is....fair. Mine is in fair.

I can't help it, it's not on my shopping list, but hey, everything is not in my shopping list lately still I splurge a little.

The packaging and design is just adorable and I'm pretty sure people are buying them due to the design.

And here it is in closer look, I think beyond the design, it has to be at least decent enough to be used so it made splurging legit.

Aside from the function for a while, I do think they did a great job with the drawings. They look so cute and the colors are just so ... so Kiki & Lala, so Little Twin Star.

Inside is a round mirror that is pretty big and satisfying. The sponge is provided and there's a clear mica divider and a place to put the sponge.

There are two type of powder made by Econeco, the loose powder for radiance and comes in a container that are usually made for loose powder,  bigger tub than this. This particular compact is mattefying and I prefer using it with my favorite brush.

The result is pretty much wonderful. It can stay nicely on the skin, and I do choose the brush since I use it after a liquid foundation. It has that mattefying finish and I do look fair. So, it does do everything like it was made to be.

I can't sniff any scent nor feel any 'extra' effect like mentioned in the ingredients but they doesn't made my skin feels dry even thou it gives me a matte finish.

Overall, the product is comfortable and suitable for daily use and special occasion by adding more products prior usage such as concealer and so on.

Queeny Aura Bod Lotion SPF 50 PA +++

Hello lovelies,

This is the last of Muku Group products sent to me from last year.

It's Queeny Aura, a body lotion that does so much more, with high SPF power and it's instant whitening effect.

With UVA and UVB Protection, the body lotion conceal wrinkles, spots and other imperfection on the body. One more thing, it is waterproof too, so it is usable when we go on swimming during the day. A lot of sun screen on the market are usually doesn't stand a change against the water, this one pretty tough.

Apply the pinkist white lotion all over the body around 15 minutes before exposing them to the sun, the lotion is kinda thick and creamy too but doesn't feels heavy. I need to time to apply it since it is thick but it's kinda like applying base makeup for the body, it felt powdery as well.

The scent is mild and the differences are seen instantly upon using the lotion.

As the image shown below, the skin appear fairer, poreless, and like using a pantyhose or edited with a soft focus. I think this lotion is a BB Cream for the body.

Aside from it's sun protecting ability, the lotion can be used prior to wedding or photo-shoot so you'll get that bride-like effortless beauty with a fair and smooth skin appearance. Just add some body powder for a much softer focus effect and velvet, silky, plus powdery look.

The product itself comes in this simple chubby bottle. Inside there's a clear gel, the shampoo smells so good, each and every variant of them, and this one is my chosen one for now since I need my hair to have more volume and of course have a happier scalp too for the rejuvenating effect from rosemary and mint. Mint is known to help stimulate the scalp for a better hair growth, similar to rosemary that provide nutrients and help hair growth as well.

On daily basis, I can feel and see my hair appear fresher, less oily and becoming more in terms of volume since the hair is not condemned with silicon or other heavy' materials that is suffocating the hair and scalp on other shampoo available nationwide.

I don't have to wash my hair twice daily now, it stays light even until the next day using Petal Fresh Organics Volumizing Shampoo, I wish there are more shampoo like this in the market that make the hair and scalp feels good plus doesn't contain harmful known ingredients.

Novexpert The Peeling Night Cream

Hello lovelies,

after around 6 months with this product, I finally able to share my review. I've used it on and off since my skin is very delicate and sensitive in a way that it is actually quite dry as well.

I'm not a fan of exfoliating, scrubbing nor do anything related to peeling my skin, so that's why I can't really use this product continually on daily basis,  more like once a week top.

So, it is made to be used as a night cream, after cleansing the skin completely, use it just enough and never too much. The first feeling that I do felt is a mild discomfort on my upper cheeks, this is the area that are very dry and not recommended in using the product, as well as areas near the eyes and lips, avoid them.

So for me, I use it only on my T-zone and a bit on the U zone as well avoiding the upper cheeks and sometime the whole cheeks area to be safe.

I think those who can benefit using this product more is those who have dull skin, the one that perhaps have problems with smoking, aging and doesn't have dry nor sensitive skin in general.

The product on me give immediate result, as in a day, I can see that the skin looks clearer. I do add a hydrating creme on top of the product to help ease out the areas near the cheeks.

The texture of the product is like a milky yellowish gel that has a mild scent. A scent that reminds me of lactic acid. It's not strong, the scent will fade away in a matter of minutes. Even though the texture of the product is light, I can still 'feel' it on my skin. Kinda like a mask, it clings a bit tight. I'm not really a fan of this reaction as well, hence it took me a while reviewing it. I can only use it as infrequently as possible.

But again, those who are having 'thick' skin may enjoy it better and see the differences within days where their skin will kept on being revealed to a smoother, softer and even brighter version.

My advice is to add more sun protection products during the day or perhaps avoid the immediate sun exposure during the usage of this product to keep those new layers happy and protected. And as usual, whenever you use a sun screen, do clean them up in the afternoon using a makeup remover.

Croc Oil Cream

Hello everyone,

this is Crocodile Cream. It's unorthodox alright but seems like traditionally made products are on the rise lately. In Japan horse oil is very famous like cactus in Mexico, Korean with their snail slugs, now in Thailand, they also use Crocodile Oil for treatments on the surface of the skin.

I couldn't find anything on their website (Muku Group) related to the product, so the details on the packaging alone will be my guide. The ingredients mentioned are crocodylidae, niacinamide, tocophery acetate and shea butter.

Crocodylidae means crocodile, and I presume it's their oils that was been used.
Niacinamine means vitamin B3 for anti aging.
Tocopheryl Acetate means vitamin E
and Shea butter, a well known ingredients used in the cosmetic industry.

So there's really nothing to it, aside from the crocodile oil.

I'm trying them everywhere I can, on my driest part (heels) where it is chapped and desperately need help. On my scar, wounds post surgery and even add it a bit on my daily lotion for an overall experience.

The texture of the oil itself is like any other cream, doesn't have any distinct smell nor feel gamy. It's a relieve haha!

And the immediate effect is the moisturizing effect, I don't really see any healing abilities for the past two weeks, perhaps since I'm not really having an immediate post surgery scars. Most of the scars are already taken care of years ago.

Overall, it's a product that have heritage and beliefs from the people in Thailand. Some must have experience significant benefits hence this product is made, but for me personally, I'm just experiencing it's hydrating ability and 'heal' my dry skin even on the driest part. Of course, like any other skincare, a daily routine application is needed and not an instant gratification. Although, a mild relieving effects are felt right after on the very dry skin.

Garnier Color Natural Creams

Hi everyone!!

Look what Garnier Indonesia gave me?! A set of Garnier Color Natural Creams in 5 different shades alongside with a towel, CD of product details and a travel pouch.

As I was given the opportunity to once again change my hair color. I think, I do change them almost every 3 months where the previous color start to fade away, the shine, the luster, has left nearly every strands. 

I never thought I'll go deeper and darker in terms of shade but turns out when opportunities come, I do embrace a more natural selection.

And I'm getting ready, as in waking up in the morning, where I haven't wash my hair nor do anything haha! Sorry for not alerting my completely bare face, as usual, whenever I want to color my hair by myself at home, I'm in my ehm 'ugliest' clothes, haven't wash my hair for perhaps a day or two so the natural 'grease' can protect the scalp and hair from the damages usually done by chemicals in the hair colorant.

Btw, all the models on the packaging are from India, hence I went into Garnier India and retrieve the products information based on their website. Apparently it is made suitable for male and female with colors that more to the natural options.

I did not opt for the black since it is advice by any hair stylist not to dye your hair black since any color wont be able to be made after that. So if black is your color, made sure that's your pick for a long period of time (until they regrow).

It is not like any other home products I've used where there's a big bottle to mix everything up.

After all the hair gets the cream, wait for around 30 - 45 minutes, add a bit of warm water to the stiffed hair. Massage a bit and leave it for another 5 minutes. And then rinse everything off until the water runs clear.

And after drying my hair, I was surprised that the color is more to purple than red.

It covers everything well. I guess, it is up to the skill of the one that helps you color your hair so the creams can go through each hair strands. Do comb the hair before application and during, but when during since the creams can make the hair tangle, do it gently.

It's okay to do it slowly as the mixture will stay the same, just keep on doing it, my sister help me until around 40 minutes and the result is still wonderful. The smell is like any other hair coloring product, so do open all windows and door so there's proper ventilation.

After the process, my towels are still 'bleeding' with the red color for up to a week.

But how about the hair? Well, it's still have the shine that I really love, the colors does fade a bit but not rapidly, the condition of the hair looks healthier and not so coarse as before as the colors are filling in. I guess it's a #mythbuster that every hair colorant is the same, some do contain ingredients that protects the hair.

This is the actual product I'm holding. It was a tube with unique tip.

The size is just right and convenient to be hold.

For me, the product pretty much precious and gives hope as when shared by the team from Guerlain, they are also excited and use the product as well.

I'm interested in trying as well since the applicator that touches the delicate skin near the eyes are made with Gold 22 carat which has been proven to be hypoallergenic.

The tip itself is made with precision and detailed information on how to use it to gain maximum benefit.

The formula? Beautiful, gel, and creamy at the same time but doesn't feel heavy at all.

Look at the finger prints details imprinted on the near back tip, a place to put the forefinger as it gives the right pressure needed, gentle and firm at the same time. No need to put too much pressure as the skin on those areas are gentle. But if you watched the video given the link above on how to use the product, you'll notice that it was made not just for under the eyes, above, surrounding, but all the way to the forehead for that perfect lifting effect.

Gently press the tube and the milky white gel will comes out from the tip.

Hold it like shown above and gently swipe the area under the eyes, makes three dots along the way and gently pulls up. All the way to the forehead using rounded movement touching the temple as well and like a acupressure massage for the face, only it's focusing on the areas for surrounding the eyes.

The cool feeling from the applicator is so comfortable and whenever needed it's just awakens me and especially the eyes. The feeling is fresh and comfortable, I don't meant to exaggerate in any kind of form but to describe it exactly how I feel.

Muku Salmon Bright Facial Cream

Hello lovelies,

this is a product from Muku called Salmon Bright Facial Cream. Muku itself is a brand from Thailand, and seems like they are making their way to Indonesia.

They also have some other items but I think their highlight is Salmon Bright Facial Cream.

The product itself looks pretty neat, the design of the exterior and the jar was made with the new concept. It kept everything inside hygienic and like a pump bottle, it's just it comes in a jar-like form.

The product is a creamy gel in milky blue color and smells really good. I'm pretty sure it was scented.

The product easily used and doesn't feel sticky nor greasy on the skin, like at all. So for those with normal to even oily skin would not need to be worry since it is just so light. Those who are having dry skin like me and sensitive too, might need to add a hydrating serum for added moisture.

So, I'm using the cream after cleansing, toner and hydrating serum and as a day cream.

But, what does this cream actually do?

Pretty much amazing, right?! Like everything in a go, from anti wrinkle, radiance, firmness, rejuvenation and brightening too. So, as you can see, it's not really a hydrating product, so do add another product to help with hydration, especially for those with dry skin.

And yes, I do feel and see the firming action and rejuvenation effect. It gives my skin that nice touch of lifting, perfect when I want a light moisturizer right before makeup. The product does works well on the surface and it made the skin appears better, like younger and brighter too. No wonder that the product is a hit in social medias, like a lot of Thai's beauty enthusiasts are raving it.
