L'Oréal Paris Oct 2014 Beauty Box, La Creme True Match BB Cream, UV Perfect Instant White, Fall Repair 3x, and Mat Maqique Compact Powder in Nude Ivory.

it's November now and I haven't even finished reviewing all the products from the October 2014 L'Oreal Paris Beauty Box, now, here they are.

The items given are the sunscreen, BB Cream, hair coloring products, and anti hair fall serum (nice!)

The first thing I've tried is of course the sunscreen. A lovely pearly pink tube with beautiful sunscreen inside. The high SPF is perfect for an all day long outdoor.

The formula is light on the skin, I give it 3/10 in terms of 10 being super sticky and greasy.

The benefits of using sunscreen are already well known, for maintaining a spotless skin to prevent skin cancer, I guess as long as we're living under the sun, using a sun protection product is a must.

But many avoided using these products for various reasons, most of them are caused by the discomfort, so having a light sunscreen helps ease that problem in particular.

the next thing is cleaning the sunscreen, as good as it does, removing them well is still needed, use a good makeup remover to clean the sunscreen as a prolonged product on the skin when it is not needed may cause other skin problem. So, by handling them correctly, you'll get the benefits without the problem.

As seen, there's a lot of chemicals inside the products, these are the common ingredients for a sunscreen.

I'm using it right after a moisturizer.

No need to use too much, but don't put too little as well, you may use your fingers to apply the product little by little until it covers the whole area, it can be used on the face, neck, ears, and even body.

As seen on the image, it give the skin a mild glow that reflects the lights.

To see the benefits of the sunscreen, use it regularly every day and when the skin regenerates monthly, you'll see that the new skin will become fairer and less visible spots.

Then, I continue by using the BB Cream. Please do take a look on each image and you may click on them for larger view and details.

I always love BB Cream, it's a simple and all in one solution for a makeup base.

It hides most imperfections instantly, from large pores, spots to uneven skin tone. The best thing about this BB Cream is that, it is made for yellowish skin tone (hooray!). Other BB Cream with beige tone sometime makes my skin looks greyish.

The last step, is the compact powder. Not that I need one, but in terms of reviewing and showing them altogether here ^__^

Usually, after the BB Cream, a loose powder is enough, but by adding a compact powder the coverage level is increased.

After the video, I immediately try the intensive hair fall product use don my scalp.

I really like these scalp serums, it doesn't make my roots oily, greasy, sticky, stiff and weird like most of other hair fall treatment on the scalp and they smell super duper good.

The scalp remain normal, as in like using nothing, so there's no problem whatsoever like sensitivity as well. I really like the process. I haven't figure it out the result as I just start using, but so far, so good.

About the smell good, it is like fruity juicy freshness. It made my whole head smells really nice.

Psst!! The result of using the sunscreen, BB Cream and Mat Maqique is a mate looking skin all day long without melting, after 5-6 hours a quick touch up using Mat Maqique is enough for another 3-4 hours, really is an all in one products that keep the skin looking ready all the time.

Gently smooth onto face. Use alone for a mattified make-up free look, or as a perfecting base before make-up.

The texture of the product is like a condensed glue without all the stickiness, in fact it is smooth and velvety.  I'm using ot on a clean skin, after toner, serum and moisturizer. Wait for the skincare to set, around 15 minutes before applying this product. If I want to use a sun protection product, I use the sunscreen first then Instablur.

The skin looks poreless, softer, smoother, and powdery when touch.

Still, don't use too much or blend too much as it will become noodling, especially if you haven't exfoliate your skin recently.

The finish is quite nice, it tackles most redness, hide fine lines, smoothing the overall skin complexion and even out the skin tone.

Instablur is similar to several primer made in France.

The product is best used with powder makeup afterwards to prevent 'flaking off'.

Kryolan TV Paint Stick (2W), Contour Pencil (971), Lipstick (LC057) and Blusher Matt (R9)

Kryolan has finally set up a base here in Jakarta, Indonesia. After a while being available online only, Kryolan has now open a store at Glow Living Beauty at Plaza Indonesia. If you have been wondering about their products, it is always best to visit the counter and check them out personally. Why? The array of these professional makeup is amazing, if you love makeup, then you gotta see them for yourself.

These are the four first items that was tried and tested by me. TV Paint Stick (yes, I do find the name to be unique and interesting), Blusher Matt ( a blush on in matte), Lipstick ( no gal will say enough in terms of having many, many, ehm, many lipsticks), and Contour Pencil (a product for eye and lips, hence it comes in many shades as well).

My shade is in 2 W. From the brand itself, they carries more than 90 shades (like WOW!). It was a stick foundation comes concealer comes a base perfect for that beautiful looking skin on screen. You do know that when on camera (with those lighting and everything on set or outdoor, not all makeups are compatible).

When I use the TV Paint Stick, my skin appears healthier on videos. And of course, all color makeup used after that becomes more vivid and bold. Like it made everything pops out.

This is the shade given to me. It's still very much suitable for my skin tone. Below is me using TV Paint Stick on a clean skin.

It covers imperfections like an eraser. Large pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, and it made the skin looks better, like it reflects lights all in the correct directions.

How do I use it?

Focusing on areas need to be covered, like laughing lines, large pores, and major parts of the face (forehead, cheeks, etc), and then blend them in using fingers. The formula is quite creamy on warm skin with this powdery scent. After a simple blending the creaminess reduce by far and turns velvety, soft, and hide almost everything under it.

I finish it off by using a loose powder, only a sprinkle of loose powder is needed since the product is not sticky, yeay!

Clean them off using a makeup remover.

Lipstick with a long-proven formulation, including Vitamin E to stimulate the skin’s repair mechanism. Lipstick Classic produces a matt impression and is known for its good durability. ECARF certified.

Continue with the lipstick, a pigmented lipstick with a shade of orange with coral. This product can be used as a blusher too. Dab it little by little on the cheeks and blend it before it sets for that peach looking blush.

The texture of the lipstick is in between creamy and somewhat like a matte lipstick with a buttery scent. It glows a bit but can easily transform into wet lips by adding lip gloss or matte finish with a simple blot using a tissue, add a bit of loose powder and another layer for a double opaque finish. The lipstick is not waterproof but has a good staying power.

On the image above, I'm using the lipstick on the center, with a brush, I'm adding lipbalm and spread them all over the lips.

Blusher is a creamy pressed powder for dry application. The exceptional formulation enhances a gentle application and produces a pleasantly soft feeling on the skin.
The micronized pigments offer the possibility of applying this preparation not only with fashionable transparency, but also with vivid color emphasis.

The blush is gorgeous, like a baby pink in color and it is so bold on the skin. Yes, do please use it only on dry skin, since on a damp skin it will be overly visible.

The texture is super soft, even beats a baby powder in terms of softness.

Use a good blusher blush and you can easily brush them gently on the apple of your cheeks (or anywhere you please) for that gentle hint of add more layers for a pink rosy hue.

Kryolan Contour Pencil is a soft textured pencil for eye and lip contouring. Its special formulation makes this pencil very durable and provides a strong color intensity. For a softer texture warm the tip of the pencil prior to application.

I'm using the pencil as an eyeliners, I like it better when it is not warmed as it slowly gives on its color and suitable for those (ehm, me) who are prone to mistakes.

The pencil has a good resistant power when set, but not really in the waterproof and smudgeproof zone, at least not in my waterline.

Beauty World Nachu Fuwa (905) from AYou Beauty

Hello everyone!!

As my previous posts, AYou Beauty sent me abundant lashes, and this one is Nachu Fuwa collections. A pretty lashes that makes the eyes looks more kawaii.

The lashes quite long and flimsy, hence when used it is best to attached the other end before the other. The length of the lashes are quite long, but I don't cut it off and just let them be wide to help create wider eyes.

I don't put them on 45 degree angle (that would make the lashes more visible through frontal look) as I want to make a more formal look (as I'm attending a meeting, not event).

Below are the products in the packaging and the details. It was definitely cute and kawaii, right?!

When used and pulled carefully, we can simply use them again and again and again. My tips would be, do get yourself a good quality glue for the lashes as it helps them maintaining the condition of the lashes. Poor quality glue will breaks the lashes faster and sometime it even means only can use them once.

Since the lashes are quite soft and doesn't have that full lashes, the result of using them is still somewhat natural and the feeling is light on the eyes.

As seen above, we can attach more lashes to the product, a shorter one for that fuller yet still natural look.
