iPhone Apps

These are some of the application that I really like on my iPhone. Most are games since well, I like to enjoy some in commuting.

The first one is New York Nights: Success in the city.
I think this is the first game that I bought, it's like mini sims so we are supposed to follow the story but how it turn out depends on the choices we make. We can choose between being a girl or boy, how we look, clothing, hair style, etc. Then the final decision is not about success in business world but in love, so we have to choose between 2 person. In the middle of it all we can enjoy sights and views in New York city, the famous park, clubs, Broadway, etc. It's really a fun game for girls. Too bad the game can easily finished within a day. I hope they make another one and more complicated.

Like sims too we have to pay attention on the 'needs' of our 'person' that need food, toilet break, shower and style too. I did enjoy the choices of reaction they gave us, but in the end only 2 person matter for our happy ending, so you can go ahead and make everyone hate you or every opposite sex love you and have that fling every where.


















The second game that I remembered playing it until I forget/ignore everything in my daily life is Chronicles of Inotia : Legend of Feanor. The story is a classic RPG game where the hero is 'stranded' and destined to save all these people. I finished the game in couple of weeks try to build his level, money, armor, or anything to help me defeat the big boss. In the end I overloaded my self with too much money, too many potions and a level that so high that I can easily beat the big boss less than 5 minutes. Victory is indeed sweet....kind of. I love the graphic, how easy it is the maneuver the hero, the constant reward and get free stuff from enemy that lose (from potion, money, weapon, etc). This is a perfect game for a beginner, I don't think those that was so 'expert' in playing RPG would gives their thumbs up since there's no strategy, complication in the story or whatsoever. Perfect for those who just want to have fun without involving their brain.

Now Inotia 2 is available but I'm not interested. They do offer better graphic and storyline, and now we can choose our hero to begin with, but still, maybe someday I'll bought the game...when it's 0.99$ perhaps.



















Besides games I also have Facebook app, Y! Messenger, Maps (that I love since it is really clear and updated), AccuWeather (even thou' sometime the weather is 100% wrong), BlogBooster (which I just load but hate how sometime it can erase new post I just created and don't have auto save program), and TuzkiSnap.






Now about TuzkiSnap, it's a fun way to take pictures and paste those funny stickers on your photo, like in the old days when we are young and love taking pictures at the booths where we can put stickers and those pink and cute stuff on it, now with just your iPhone you can do it every where and anytime, no coins needed. Just want to complain about the loud sounds it make every time we run the app.

I also have English to Japanese translator (paid) that kinda useful, but I think I need a better one, the one where I can write down the sentence and let them have the translation when I push enter. In this translator is just like a manual dictionary which just about finding the words available there.

But nothing beats the weirdest of Messenger, a hotmail MSN app that can not be sign out, oh they do have this choice but somehow still can't. So when I'm about to change the user I have to delete the app and upload again then I can change user.

MSN in my pc also have problem, they kept asking me to do an update and if I refuse I will not be able to run the MSN and when I do update, it can't be run. Not so smart aye mate?!

Twitterific run smoothly, like MoreLomo too, iBooks , iCab, but I don't use them all the time. The games I currently playing is Angry Birds and Yumsters 2, Cookie Dozer (a friend of Coin Dozer) also fun and help me kill time.

Angry Birds is really fun and addictive, you are suppose to catapult these silly birds (all have their own 'super power') to destroys these green monsters that stoles their eggs. Many levels are presented, some can only be unlocked after golden eggs are retrieved.



















Yumsters 2 is also a delightful game. It need attention and focus to eat those fruits. Time limited game with multiple level and adventure is different places. I was amazed by their variety of 'wormies' each with their own different 'skill' that need to be activated first. Ghost can be transparent and eat fruit at it's own color wherever it is and can not be blocked by anything. Yumsters can eat any color, and many other type too. We have to be faster on each stage since there's bug and frost that need to be prevented.

National Day and Starhub

Celebrating Singapore birthday at home just couldn't be better. Thanks to Starhub all subscriber can enjoy a 3 day home entertainment since they open all the channel to view. I always going abroad thinking it will be so dull at home, but now since there's so many great channel I can watch I love spend my time at home with my family.

My favorite channel are Food Network Channel, HBO, StarMovies and many more. Yesterday I was able to enjoy E! exclusive show about Jennifer Aniston, she is my favorite actress. I can see more about her and well finally get that clue about what happen between her, Brat and Jolie.

The thing is now all 3 of us are arguing who got to watch, my child wanna cartoon show, I want to see cooking show and entertainment, and my hubby want some action

But if there's one thing I hope for Starhub to improve is their reward system, I hate to say it but some time ago our points are gone due to the lack of info there's an expired date for claiming it and they do nothing to help us to regain the points or at least just before the time help us by reminding the expiring time in explicit. We search through their website and our monthly bills and found no clue about it until there's a not from them that our reward points are expired.

I wish Starhub improving their service in the future and hope all the best for them :)

Many female must have known about this wonderful products. As always Japanese beauty skincare is always a hit, since they try to give the best treatment a skin can get with the most natural ingredients possible. First I thought the range are limited to cleanser, toner, moisturizer, but as always Japanese product (especially Shiseido) like to think it through and provide every product for every problem or skin type.

 
 

This AQUALABEL Moist Essence CL, that contain high concentration of Collagen to lift and firm cheeks, a product that definitely handy for me and help reduce my laughing lines.

The range also complete with mask, emulsion, essence and many more. This is the complete set with the chronological usage for day (they also have a regime for night).








Beside the MO range they also carry a WT range, a whitening series that help reduce the dark spots and pigmentation too.

What I like about their product is: It does not sting my facial skin, does not make any redness or shown any harsh chemical was used. I haven't see any visible result for my dark spot since I just been using it for couple of days now, but I must say there's nothing to complain since it does take care my skin in a good way.

I see my skin are brighter, more radiance and like in the MO range more dewy.

I will use this product for a long term since they are easy to use, easy to penetrate, doesn't leave any residue or side effect and the price range is affordable (about 25 S$ to still less than 50S$) a full range is about 100S$ (depends on your skin condition and needs).

I give this product a 4 out of 5 star :) for being a quality product in more friendly budget range

This is a beauty blogger dream come true, check this out. Not just they are splurge and loved by all those products from AQUALABEL, they also got to go to Japan in an All-Expense-Paid trip :)

Covermark

Thanks to a magazine I can collect a sample of Covermark Moisture Veil Foundation which is really wonderful and a sample for me can last around 10 times. The formula is wonderful, easy to blend and cover the dark spots, fine lines and almost anything I want to hide.

The best thing about it is it doesn't left any cakey feeling, stiffness, nor white spots. It is said in their website that it contain moisturized powder so the finishing will be very smooth and the skin looks toned and glow with radiance.

Sometime I damp the sponge a bit, it help the powder the blend more easily, and it stay hours and hours after using. I don't need any retouch even after 4 hours. Which for me it is wonderful since somehow my skin usually repel any makeup within 2 hours. The effect of this Covermark is it create a layer on my skin surface and it stay there, creating a smooth spotless facial skin but still look so natural with all it's best.

Natural as if I have a very good skin gene and since I was a baby 'till now I have no acne, pimples, blackheads, increasing pores, lines, and well as if I live in a bubble where there's no sun and pollution or stress.

Teppanyaki @Sakae Sushi

3 main things I'm going to review here:
1. The service:
It is bad, really bad. We went on Thursday night, so it's not weekend nor weekend night, the next day also not a public holiday not that day. But they are so busy that day. Many chairs are empty on the Teppanyaki side but somehow the staff focus on the sushi area. None seems to care that some customer only prefer the Teppanyaki until we ask several staff and finally got a seat (that clearly have been empty since 30 minutes ago. We are also ignored numerous time when we want to order, the staff forget our drinks, my child's utensils set, and our our bills.

2. The food:
Au contraire to the bad service we did enjoy our meal there. The Kimchi pot is so good, warm and deliecious to the tummy too. I love how the beef are so soft and tender, the veggies absorb all the flavors and the soup is just yumms. My sis order also ended up enjoyed by all of us, the oyster is just so good, soft, flavorful and it is a true delicacy for us. My husband's seafood was enjoyable but not as delicious as the other 2 menus. We also noticed they have a new menu now, and it is indeed shown their creativity and improving Singapore pallet.

3. The hygiene:
3 out of 5 star is given since a few of the utensils have marks of previous meal. Fly also flying around inside the restaurant and please, don't let me speak about the floor.
