The Body Shop Rainforest Moisture Conditioner

Hello lovelies,

conditioner has been part of my life since I understand more about hair care. That's around 26 years ago when I still in elementary school and the first ad about conditioner aired in Indonesia. I knew that after using shampoo, conditioner is needed to made the hair tangle free.

Yup, tangle was the only problem I had back then, now, it's more like super dry. coarse, damaged and over process hair. So conditioner has turn to be not just needed but crucial. It help coating the hair with moisture to lessen the appearance of damage. Does it 'cure' the hair? Nope, just help easing the pain.

Conditions to help restore moisture and improve the hair’s softness without weighing it down, for a smooth and shiny finish.
  • Contains pracaxi oil, manketti nut oil and Community Trade honey, babassu oil and coconut oil.
  • No silicones, no parabens and no colourants.
  • For dry and damaged hair.

The texture of the white creamy lotion is pretty common like any other conditioner. I just wish it comes in a tube container, it would be so much easier to get them out than this plastic bottles. The consistency of the product is kinda thick, too thick to be inside a plastic bottle.

The aroma is like honey and comforting, I like the aroma. I'm using it on a wet hair just after being wash by shampoo. Some people also love to co-wash their hair, which means only use conditioner without the shampoo. But never let conditioner touches the scalp as it will made the scalp greasy and oily. Conditioner is made for hair, start from the mid-part all the way to the ends of the hair.

Massage a bit and try leaving the conditioner for around 3-5 minutes before rinsing them off. The hair should feel silkier and softer yet still light and no limps.

For a better hydration, mask and salon treatments is still needed, so do that on weekly basis and use conditioner on daily routine, it will help the hair condition, especially the kind of hair that is like mine.
