oohh it's so good to be back here writing again, I've been doing youtube videos most of the time that I almost neglect my first passion, well, now I'm here for Bio Oil Gel Kulit Kering. So yes, even thou' this is gel, it's oil based, even thou' it comes in pink purely adorable cute jelly form, it is oil and it melts on the skin the minute it touches the warmth of our skin. Embalming the skin in pure comfort of oils, like Bio Oil does with their original formula and characteristic, oil. Same scents, same aroma and with a different texture and feeling upon application. When applying the oil it was like a liquid, pouring it on the skin is runny and watery, but with the gel, I can control the spreading easier, not that applying Bio Oil itself is difficult but less mess thou, in fact no mess with the gel.

In terms of absorbing to the skin, the original Bio Oil is lighter, while the gel does hold oil longer on the skin which filming the skin and made moisture stays longer in the skin. I even read the tests made and surveys by those who have stop using it for 3 days, their skin is still moist and not dry like it was used too.

While now (no thanks) since global warming and air conditioner has become a lifestyle in big cities like Jakarta, we are depending on it in fact to avoid the heat. The air indoor become so dry and the skin suffers too. While bad habits of junk food, lack of sleep and less drinking fluid also becoming another factor, trending diet (like the one I'm doing right now) as in Ketogenic, made the skin become severely dry as well. So daily pampering the skin is my obligation as if I didn't put heavy lotions and oils, they'll become worst, as in so itchy, visible cracking and pain in the end. So, for me, it is not an option, I had to use products for dry skin.

Now, how does Bio Oil Gel Kulit Kering performs compared to other products that I'm using like shea butter from L'Occitane, Dove Advance, to many other products I'm using right now for dry skin including Bioderma lotion for very dry skin, I must say, I'm pretty impressed. Bio Oil Gel Kulit Kering is good, is one of my favorite item as it glide on the skin easily and smells good, well, maybe because  I love the aroma of the original oil that I have no problem adjusting to the gel, it's just a matter of texture and consistency. Application of the gel is easier and definitely neater than oil, as sometime I drop the oils on the floor for it's watery texture, but if you're not a clumsy like sometime I am, you will not experience any problem either way.

Price wise, it's kinda similar, for around 170k for a 200gr of jar, the gel last on me for a month or so for a twice daily usage. The oil could last a bit longer since I can apply the oil more thinly, the gel as well, but I just love the texture so much I tend to use more than enough. The skin takes more time to absorb the oils on the gel which made wearing clothes took time as well, there's a plus and minus in everything, as it keep the skin moist longer, like in the dry winter during holiday, the dry skin will definitely be happier. And it works like a charm too on sensitive skin, since kulit akyuhh udah kering sensitive pula, kadang produk yang banyak fake chemical nya pasti bereaksi negatif. But with Bio Oil Gel ini, my skin is happy happy aja. Jadi kalau cocok pake Bio Oil, mostly you will have no problem using Bio Oil Gel.

Bisa buat muka? Well tulisannya sih non comedogenic, jadi harusnya bisa, meski daku pakenya body only.

Dan itu hasilnya di kulit begitu di pake and stays that way sampe mandi. Lembab, glistening dan tahan lama. For those with dry skin, of course you will be very happy when the skin stays moist and it stays in their stronger condition than when it is severly and painfully dry. I use the gel twice daily and when with other products sometime I layered the skin 2-3 times with oils, lotion, and then cream, with the Bio Oil Gel, it needs 1 or when it's really dry, 2 layers. So yes, it works for me.

Does it have oily feeling or like greasy? More like dry oil feeling and it is not greasy. It's more like a comfort for dry skin that it's been longing for.
